PhoneAlarm on WInMo 6.5 Titanium Theme - Touch CDMA General

Is there away to make the regular PhoneAlarm (version 2.22 Pro) screen widget from WinMo 6.1 into a widget for the titanium theme for WinMo 6.5?
The reason I ask is I use the program to make my text repeat alert - because my work uses it as a pager (I work at a Hospital)... I do not really like the TouchFlo on my device - makes screen look cluttered...
I know they (PhoneAlarm) is going to be making a version 3.0 that will support WinMo 6.5 - but that means I have to get a new version (which I think stinks)...
I am willing to either learn and do it myself (but will cause lots of people headaches because I am not a programmer - but can learn) or willing to donate some $$$ to someone or group of someone that would be willing to make this for me....
Is anyone upto the task of helping me with this?
The widget does not need to have many options per say, my favorite theme of PhoneAlarm is B&W-Pure_Min...
Thanks and you can reach me at any of my addresses or IM's listed in my profile (you may have to ask to be my friend first)

Anyone willing to bite on this one?
you can contact me on..
yahoo at [email protected]
msn as [email protected]
or gmail as [email protected]

titanium sucks man, use htc home or tf2d.

to each their own, i like titanium, touchflo reminds me too much of 6.1

completely agree, think a lot of people would
I believe this has been discussed and it is too integrated into the ROM to be extracted.

Hi,

it works like the threaded SMS from PocketCM.
Beautiful and easy.

This is palm threaded sms. I tried vitos today but I don't like the design
6.1 SMS on 6.0 would be nice.
I suggest using the PALM threaded SMS app..

I have to ask the obvious, Why not just upgrade from 6.0 to 6.1? It is much more stable, for me at least, than 6.0.
No offense intended. To each his/her own.

Because some of us can't upgrade to 6.1 there is no 6.1 for my phone at the moment, for example.
I have a TOUCH CRUISE
- VITO SMS, doesnt work with the Touch Keyboard, the keyboard only rights numbers.
- When using the PALM THREAD SMS keyboard, the keyboard stays over the text of the message, wich is really bad to use
- There is no 6.1 for the TOUCH CRUISE right ?
Any other ideas

VITO SMS-Chat vs Threaded SMS WM 6.1
Hi
Now that Vito has a promotion to celebrate their 7th year anniversary (SMS Chat at US$7 only), I was tempted to get it. But since WM 6.1 is coming soon... I was also wondering whether it's worth the money.
Has anyone tried both and can he/she shared the differences/similarities? What's the benefit (if any) of getting SMS-Chat?

I haven't tried other options except the Dutty 6.1 release and after experiencing the problems I had I had to revert to OEM. I installed SMS-Chat and for $7 I think its great. I am still on trial but plan to purchase. So far it has worked without issues for me. Threaded SMS nice layout. I suggest trying it before buying and make a judgement for yourself.
Hi
Thanks for the feedback. Personally, I would like to have it integrated into the default SMS application, so that it won't take up extra ROM and RAM.
But like you said, maybe I will give it a try. Before that, can you tell me whether SMS Chat is an application that needs to be launched all the time in order to access it or will it operate in the background, taking over the default Inbox, until you deactivate it?

It works in the background. I did a soft reset of my device to test it without previously launching the application and I had my wife send me a text and it automatically came through sms-chat. I like this apart from other modifications because I don't have to mess with the registry. I have full control by uninstalling it if I ever don't want the application. If you do try it let us know your thoughts.
I'm not sure whether I want to pay for something which will be made available to us free of charge eventually when WM 6.1 is out. That's why I am still contemplating about it.

The New GSmart U.I on the Touch Dual?

was reading an article over at coolsmartphone.com - http://coolsmartphone.com/news4008.html
The U.I looks really cool and was wondering if there was a way to get it for the Touch Dual? Cheers!
I believe that's a question for the Development board, not this one. I think I've seen something about that there ..
looks nice, shame it still links to the CRAPPY looking windows mobile apps, i wish someone would completely revamp the entire shell of windows mobile
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=386133
Thanks!
Yeah! I also really long for something that would replace the ugly-ass WM apps, such as SMS/Email, Calendar, etc.. So if anyone find anything, please let me know
I had this working on my mine, but shifted to UL which is pretty awesome

vito sms chat, how is it for you? I liked it but it created a new SMSfolder which I didnt like and SMS notifications wouldnt work anymore. On vito Quick contact, can you still pop out the software touch keypad? I mean I know we have the hardware slide out keypad but sometimes I like just using the touch screen.
sms-chat is fantastic. although you dont recieve the normal text alerts you should still hear your sms tone and a little semi-transparent window pops up in the centre of the screen with the sms info. In my opinion it is a lot better than the normal wm sms and even better still than the threaded sms in wm6.1.
Fun contacts works in such a way that you dont need to use the keyboard unless you are editing contact info and ive just confirmed for you that you can use the software keyboard as well as the hardware keyboard for this.
hope this clears things up for you
Will try to give vito SMS chat another trial. Thanks!
Try lord smiff threaded sms. I love it.

Touch HD Friendly Call Filtering/Blocking...

Anyone know if the Touch HD or Windows Mobile 6.1 have ability to block calls from certain callers/numbers?
I need some sort of call blocking/filtering software that works well with the TouchHD. Something stable, that you know works well wth TouchHD. Paid or Freeware. Thank you!
Try with Photo Contacts PRO (v. 5.10). It works great for me!
http://www.pocketx.net/
spb phonesuite gets my vote (paid for)
My solution is to set a silent ringtone for the contacts number that needs to be ignored.
Does Spb or photo contacts interfere with touchflo in anyway? I like the TouchFlo call setup I just want to block calls. If it interferes/changes the answer screen, causes delays, etc then I might stick to the silent ringer instead. Please advise.
i dont use touchflo so cant comment, however you dont need to use the today plugin with spb phonesuite to make use of the functions
it offers a 15 day trial so check it out
jonajuna, thanks...will check it out.
try MagiCall I guess that's you are looking for.
mcano, that looks perfect, but does it play nice with Touch HD and TouchFLO?
MagiCall rulez!!!! i use it and im very happy
MagiCall all the way =D this program rules!

Plea to cooks: 6.5 AND Manila

Hey guys
In my never ending quest to find the perfect rom i have really become attached to Manila. Its a slick interface plain and simple and nothing Microsoft has done can top it in my opinion.
In saying that, the enhancements Microsoft introduced in 6.5 make it a worthwhile upgrade. Like the new graphics, start menu, scroll bars etc.
Now im aware you can install the manila cab but being cooked in means it runs alot faster, ive also run into some stability issues running Tran Minh Mans 6.5 rom and the manila cab which could be fixed if it was cooked in. Also some shortcuts are dead like the "All Settings" shortcut.
The Titanium Today Plugin in 6.5 is just awful. Not functional, hard to use and lacks eye candy.
Im hoping the cooks for Polaris feel the same way i do?
EDIT: I have no idea why i wrote "to" instead of "the" in the poll...
I agree

Default Contact Manager

Hi all,
I've using the tp2 from few days and seriously love it. I've never been a fan of Touch Flo so, I prefer no to use it.
There is something I don't understand.
When touch flo is activated, i have the new marvelous one finger contact manager, contact editor and other stuffs like call history. When I disable TF, I just get the old winmo contact manager, what a pity !!
Does anyone knows how to not use Touch Flo but all the others facilities ?
Many thanks.
Seb
You can't use TP2 apps, if TF3D is disabled.
I think you need 3rd party software...
What a shame !
What could you advise as third party app ?
Thanks for yout previous answer.
Google iContact.. there are few variations of it.. they are better with finger support.
Thank you for your anwser.
But as spb ms3 I don't like apps with low res icons.
No matter, the old outlook would be fine... Snif...
