I am not quite sure what i did but now the tf3d internet globe button doesnt take me to opera. I checked and it is still in my programs and it works, but also now it does not let me use the circular pad to zoom in and out. Anyone know what i might have done?
did you uninstall 9.5 to replace it with opera 9.7?
If so:
1. 9.7 puts its shortcut in a different location. not the default location TF3D needs it to be (so your internet shortcut stops working)
2. 9.7 currently doesn't work with zoom wheel unless you apply some regedits (and even then its buggy)
otherwise if your using 9.5 still try reinstalling the cab

Hi, can some one make a hack or a program that will enable the Zoom in Zoom out Function for PIE in WM6.1?
I am using touchflo and installed the no scroll bar function.. now if i can do a double tap to zoom in zoom out.. it would be sweet..
and by the way...
is there a way to make site like yahoo to stop loading the mobile website?...
its annoying...
oh and if it can be set in Zoomed out mode as default...
thanks
first use opera
second if you dont want the mobile version just type the following at the end
?nomobile=1
or
?m=false
after www.yahoo.com
example
www.yahoo.com/?nomobile=1
just use opera mobile or access netfront 3.5 they're both great)) this is what you need)
For some reason whenever I launch Opera from TF3D it defaults to the htc homepage. Launching Opera from the programs menu works fine.
How can I change the parameters TF3D passes on to Opera to make it default to the regular Opera default page?
Anyone? I would really like to change the homepage TF3D refers Opera to...
I am having this same problem with 1.18 also
I believe I have solved this problem...Using Total Commander Go to Application Data/Manilla and delete the two xml files there "InternetPortal.xml and InternetPortal-en-AU.xml"
I installed the latest Opera 9.7 build, it works fine, but when I tap on Manila 2.5 HomeScreen bookmark shotcuts they open with Pocket IE. I searched in registry but I can't find where to set Opera as default browser.
The strange thing is that html files are opened by Opera and also bookmarks from internet tabs...
What can I do?

got to options in ie, uncheck the default broser box, close ie, then download the fix opera flash tool, http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=544770 copy it to the root of your opera folder, run it, go to tools, check the default browser button, reset, try again lol (long winded but should work)

Thx for help but my IE has no default box! Where can I find it?
Anyone have a .cab for the IE with the zoom slider? I thought I had it on another ROM I flashed but when I switched to my current ROM the IE version does not have zoom sliding. Double tapping to zoom works but sometimes I need to zoom in closer. Thanks.
I could be mistaken, but I don't think you need a separate IE cab. Try using the Advanced Config tweak:

In fact I think IE may be configured by default with the Advanced Configuration Tool.
I installed the latest Google maps over my existing version, but now the map search from the bottom slide menu no longer works. I also installed Opera 10, but did not overwrite the existing version (because its a beta) and the bottom slide menu still launched Opera 9.
I'm guessing I need to edit something, but can't find what, even after a couple of hours on Google.

AFAIK, if you invoke internet using the bottom slide tab (of TF) it defaults to opera 9 because of its setting in the registry. I've tried to change the default browser to Opera10 but encountered several instabilities. You'll have to invoke Opera 10 from the programs menu.
Can you invoke google maps from the programs menu? If you can, then google maps is working fine, regardless of what browser application.
As a workaround I have added Opera 10 as a custom option in the registry for the internet widget (like YouTube), so I can select it from the in internet widget page. Opera 10 is the default browser launched by other programs, but I still can't find a way of launching Opera 10 by touching the "Launch Browser" globe in the internet widget, or from any of the bookmarks in the internet widget.
Google Maps works fine when run from the Program Menu, but the Maps Search widget no longer works.

Try changing this registry:
HKLM\Software\HTC\Manila2D\InternetWidget\OperaEXEfile.
Edit the contents of <OperaEXEfile> and point to Opera10.exe location. (the default is \windows\operaL.exe)
Thanks!
I didn't have that key in the registry, otherwise I would have already tried it. I added the OperaEXEfile string and it works. Can you have a quick look through your registry and see if there is one for Google maps, please?

Unfortunately, the "Map Search" was not featured in this part of the world. I installed the Google Map application and invoke it via the Programs tab, which automatically brings up the browser. It works equally fine.
