Yes is possible there is an app to change manila home background.
Your name is "Diamond Background Changer" I have found this app on this
forum many times ago but I do not remember who is the author of the program.

I installed 0.67 bepe rom and I'd like to customize the quick launcher on today screen.... I went to the post linked upstairs but I found only ultra-mega today full of color and icons everything is so funny but i like the simple screen of htc and i'd like only customize the quick launcher
how to do this? maybe there is a registry key?

You can't. You'll have to find another launcher application, or check for the customized quick launcher from the post a couple notchs above.

Yes it is. Search for the O2 Home Customizer 2.3 cab(Try looking at the TIP's and TWEAK Thread) and install it and choose whatever program you want to be displayed on your launcher. You can have as many as you want.

it is possible. edit the xml and create ur own new icons.

xml is in the windows director if u mean that. if u mean the actual plugin then check the htc threads specifically in the hacking section that have all the htc programs.

if u tought about O2 HTC Home Customizer 2.3 here u can find the cab....
The original poster is NOT refering to the "O2" plug-In neither are those posters refering to finding or editing the XML files. Their questions are regarding the 'Quick Launcher' (HTC Home Sprint).

In the windows directory you find: ql_skin_l.xml (landscape) and ql_skin_p.xml (portrait).

I have tried to search and find what to do to install a theme that has icons, and cannot figure it out. Do I need some program that everyone is using? Also on dialer skins how are those installed?
Do skins kill battery life or use alot of system resources?

What theme? If its HTC home, you install the .cab file from the phone or sync the phone to pc and double click .exe.
If its a .tsk file, Put the file in the windows directory of the phone then go to today screen and select from there.
Skins dont use a lot of system resources UNLESS they are actively doing something( S2U2 for example if you install a moving gif as your wallpaper) as they are just being used instead of the originals.. Cheers...
yea, u need to be a wee bit more clear as to what you want, you're probably new and dont know the right terms, so maybe if you posted some pics we could understand a bit better what u are trying to achieve.

I think that I will need a plug in to show the icons. I installed a tsk theme but it only changed the color of the top and bottom bars, but did not show the large clock or icons like that one. I saved it to the memory card, not within a folder and I was able to browse find and install it. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

that big clock is the htc home plugin, which you can download all over this forum, or at www.pocketemu.com which incidentally also has another program called htc home customizer, which would be the easiest way to customize the home icons. It may not have that exact theme you are looking for, so the best way to get that theme is to ask the person who posted that screenshot

This is like skin - i replace gifs in gentimer exe file. Then i made cab.

I think It's system Time... so just change it in Programs->System Clock

This is trial, but never expire . (Of couse you can pay and register it)
You connot change time, because I rename standard clock.exe to system_clock.exe and rename gentimer.exe to clock.exe. It is nessery for run gentimer from main page. Please run Programs->System Clock to adjust time.
is it possible to use this without a clock installed on the home page?
(i have applied NisseDILLIGAF's Noclock cab as i hate the manilla clock)

I really like your HTC look alike Phone-skin and HTC Calculator, but I am sorry that I must admit that I am not so happy about this one...
It is just too fancy... I would love to see just a HTC look alike skin for the current alarm page...Basically with the same options and same software behind it...
This is more a replacement alarm/clock application then a HTC skin for a default WM6.1 application, and it does not really give me the HTC feel.. Sorry.

Ok, first of all - this is my first post. Woohooo. K now that that's out the way, lets get down to business.
Had a new slider and clock etc and then I saw XenRed (http://www.archy.net/2008/11/15/xen-theme/) ... Decided to install it (using Diamond TF3D Config) and it works. But can't change the wallpaper. Tried using mUn BackGround4AllPages v.02 and then my clock just started ficking through numbers and sticks at 12:59. I Used Diamond TF3D Config to reset to defaults and I just can't get the wallpaper to work (I tried in Settings - Wallpaper and Start - Settings - Today - Use the Picture as the background).
I'm not a developer so I can't exactly go write my own manilla files or whatever. Does anyone have any ideas?
P.S. If possible, I wanna have a different today wallpaper to every other one but wanna customise both. I came across this:

that background for all pages has some nasy effects on some versions of the tf3d especially modded versions, theres not much you can do apart from either unistall everything to do with the tf3d and re install tf3d or hard reset and start again

I have request. I'm searching tf3d the best ver tf3d 1.1.35345.1_1630.38 without background4alltabs. I like light wallpapers but i have a white font.
I can't uninstall or disable background4alltabs because it's included in soft.
I made this same post in Category RAPHAEL (I have FUZE) but nobody can't or don't want to help me.
I know not only me have this same problem. It's the best solution to change only home tab.
