Hi guys
Ok, first of all - this is my first post. Woohooo. K now that that's out the way, lets get down to business.
Had a new slider and clock etc and then I saw XenRed (http://www.archy.net/2008/11/15/xen-theme/) ... Decided to install it (using Diamond TF3D Config) and it works. But can't change the wallpaper. Tried using mUn BackGround4AllPages v.02 and then my clock just started ficking through numbers and sticks at 12:59. I Used Diamond TF3D Config to reset to defaults and I just can't get the wallpaper to work (I tried in Settings - Wallpaper and Start - Settings - Today - Use the Picture as the background).
I'm not a developer so I can't exactly go write my own manilla files or whatever. Does anyone have any ideas?
P.S. If possible, I wanna have a different today wallpaper to every other one but wanna customise both. I came across this:

But I don't know how to edit Manilla files. Is there a CAB that will work that I don't know about? Thanks everybody
that background for all pages has some nasy effects on some versions of the tf3d especially modded versions, theres not much you can do apart from either unistall everything to do with the tf3d and re install tf3d or hard reset and start again

thanks very much i will give it a go on tp2 i did find that searching but cause the tp2 is new i am always unsure if things will always work etc beacause its tf3d v2.1

Hi, I'm trying to find how I can have the wallpaper changed in all TF3D tabs. e.g. music, picrures and today screen.
I'm not sure if this is the right place to post this question so apologies if not. I have windows 6.5.1 and TF3D..
Would this version of TF3D be called TF3D2 ? It appears slightly different to my other wm6.1 rom.

I am not sure if our problems are related, but If you are talking about what I think you are... I am looking for this too.
On the one side, I can edit my TF3d look, slider, and all that... however, on any slider I install, the square that highlights the current tab still has the Icons from the stock rom, Orange and plain. Don't get me wring, they are alright, but when the slider has different Icons on it from the original Orange Icons, it kind of clashes.
Anyone able to help me remedy this problem? I would be very grateful.
EDIT: By the way, I have the sprint Touch Pro 2 (Manila Version 2.1.38416.1)

no you can't because the skins you pointed out are for TF2D (manila2D) only.
Nevertheless it's possible to change the skin : choose TF3D2.1 skins for your Diam2
The best is to install themes cabs : copy the cab to your ppc then click on it with your explorer (total commander by example) to install it and soft reset (reboot)

First of all your Diam2 (topaz) is WVGA (480x800px screen) so you have to verify in thread title if the theme is really made for WVGA screens.
Second, your UI is called TF3D2.1 (or manila 2.1) here on XDA : that means you can install full themes made for TF3D2.1 or icons only (from bottom bar) made for TF3D (the first diamond or Blackstone). The best is to try different themes because there is no general rules : some icons sets will work but others won't
The last version TF3D2.5 from LEO device (manila2.5) won't work with your Diam2 stock rom.
there are different ways to get skins for your Diam2 :
- into the dedicated Topaz section : HERE (this one was made especially for your Diam2 so all the stuffs you'll find into this section will work on your Diam2)
- Into general dev&hack section you have the windows themes : HERE
(this is general section so all the themes in this section won't work : verify WVGA TF3D2.1)
- the most important skins databases for TF3D are for Diamond1 (HERE) & HD-Blackstone section (HERE) (because they are older than your D2)
By example, these ones should work on your Diam2 :
- Snoopy
(choose WVGA, don't install VGA or manila2.5 cabs)
- Dusk for manila2.1
- Coquette
- Vector
- my TF3D icons HERE
BTW skins & themes are mentioned by [SKN] or [THE] for a better readability in thread title
One last thing : never install a theme cab on a previous one, always remove old theme cab before installing a new one ^^

well i got something strange it does not fully work on my diamond
How i installed it..
i installed the cab on my memory card. then i installed the program and turned my telephone off and on.. and i tryed to soft reset it.
Is this the right way to install it?
The problem is that the first icon stays in color and the pictures of the icons do not fully fit in the icons. you can not see the full icon.
Do you have the new TF3D2.1 Sense (weather clock) ?
uhmm i have windows 6.5 with the newest rom update from the htc website. the rom update that change the colors the icons. And i do have the weather clock.
oh and maybe good to know.. i have diamond tweak installed on my phone
cant see to get the m mobiler working 2 :s
got the mobiler working but the front is not fully showing.. i hope you got the idea..
