Hi!
Is there any way to extract the SMSC number from recieved SMS messages stored in Inbox. If there is no applicative way, maybe programmatically from some internal database... Is this information kept when SMS is beeing saved in Inbox ?
I noticed that everytime I send a sms from my contacts their names are not shown and only their number. Is there anyway the names of contact appear instead of their number?

Search for Paragon Software sms_name.
The program sms_names will only show the names of contact when a sms is recieved. It does'nt help in showing the names of your receipient when sending the message to them. Their numbers are shown instead of there names.....
I have to double check if the number appearing matches to the name of the contact.
you can tab & hold on a contact then select "Send sms" ... this will display only the number ... but in an empty sms if you click the "To" field and type the first 3 letters and then select the name this will display the name as well ... weird but true!!

unfort. there is no concept of groups in pOutlook ... one good trick would be selecting the required names then copy the "To" part and paste it into a text file for future usage
SMS Group
There is the way to send sms to group. I should
1. buy Pocket Informant
2. create groups
3. check numers belong to certain group
4. hold and click Extras-Send SMS
This procedure will open inbox with checking contacts.

you probablty have multiple duplicate entries. Try to check your address book ulit pre!
Hi, Is thr any way to update Contact names in SMS too. When we change a name of the contact it doesnt change the name in the sms sent by him. Is thr some app. or tweak that can refresh all the sms with the changes made in the contacts.

Hello, I have some problem, my windows mobile 6.5 standart doesnt show name when I get sms message, I mean It show only number of sender, but senders number is saved in contacts, doesnt wm should show name of contact? Where is the problem?
