Are all front TyTN buttons supposed to be backlit?

On the front of the TyTN, my answer (green phone) and hang up (red phone) buttons are back lit, but the other keys that surround the D-pad (Windows, OK and two softkeys) aren't backlit.
Is that correct?

Yes thats correct, my tytn does exactly the same.
Shame some of the other buttons arnt designed too tho, somtimes I catch the wrong one when im in the dark.

I doesnt seem to have any problems with the non backlit buttons. U can pretty much see all the buttons when you turn your tytn on.. And the layout is pretty straightforward!
Learn to use it and remember where the buttons are. The TyTN has alot of buttons to make 1 hand operation easy so you should memorize it

Disable Red/Green Keys when Screen is off ?

Hi there,
Is there a regkey to make sure the virtual buttons wont work when the screen is off ?
Example : I'm in a call, I press power to turn off the screen, but the device in my pocket...
Currently : if it press accidently the Red key... It hang the call. (baaaad)
Ideally : it wouldnt do anything except if I press again Power.
Any idea?

I think that 'aebutton plus' will do what you want...

Anyone has a better idea/tip ?

I tried S2U2 (Slide 2 Unlock 2) for this but it does not lock the buttons during a call. Maybe TouchLockPro??

I solved the problem with AEButtons Plus.
I set the red and green button to doubleclick, which works fine.
In S2U2 you can disable the two buttons as well.
Just look for the S2A Answer/End Keys in S2U2 Config

Thanks Tavos, I'm still not sold with "Why they changed this behavior..." (at least my TyTN II did it right... no power button, no accident )

button illumination

hi. do the 5 hardware keys on the bottom of the phone illuminate only when you press them? i cannot find a settings that keeps these buttons illuminated. thanks

Hi, i have problems witch software buttons HTC HD mini.
My questions are:
1) Can reduce light of software buttons?
2) Can reduce vibratons of software buttons?
3) Can completely turn off light software buttons?
4) Can completely turn off vibration software buttons?
5) Can set time lighting from 10sec to 3sec when press software buttons?
