becuase you got refurbished, did you use that without flashing/upgrading as it comes to you?
there is a possiblity that its already got that problem.
im sorry what do you mean? if i uprgraded the rom when i first got it? no. i got the phone i hspl from 2.10 to 2.08 HSPL everything went good, flashed NRGZs ROM and got stuck on the bootscreen, i tried a few resets until it went through but after 10min the phone shutdown and went back to the boot screen i reverted back all to stock and kept doing the same, are you saying that this will happen also in my next one that arrives? or it was just this one of bad luck that was like this?
thanks so much for your reply and anyone else that helps. thanks.
PS: i think this is my second exchange im not very sure, dont remember. but the old one flashed all perfect
I think it a nand flash issue, may be some sectors thar are being used by the cocked roms is the reason for that freez

once you do task29 at 98% press volume down and you will be in the boot loader mode, then you can flash any ROM ... give it a try

i mean to say device could be faulty...
if you get it as replacement from t-mobile,
go ahead flash stock and send back to them for replacement again

[Q] I think i'm bricked

So i flashed something that my phone doesnt agree with and now it gets stuck in boot. it gets to samsung screen then goes black and back to samsung over and over..
through clockwork i've wiped everything, tried to recover, tried to flash fresh roms, new kernels everything but i'm still stuck.. is this a situation to try odin? I don't have access to a pc so i just wanted to know if that is the next step cause its kinda of a pain in the ass to get a hold of one

what exactly did you flash to your phone that it didnt agree with
i flashed geek's uv superfast test and then followed his links to enable the BLN.. i think i might have flashed a bln mod for another device by accident but i'm having trouble finding the links i clicked so i'm not positive.. all i know is after i flashed it my boot animation changed to i 9000 and then it got stuck and then it got stuck in boot lock
to be frank, i can't find what the **** i did so i'm starting to think i was in a diff device forum or something... i musta flashed something for another device

yeah you are pretty much screwed
screwed as in i should go to verizon w/ a sob story or screwed as in try odin
Couldn't you use Odin to restore? Or have you already tried that?
yeah man just revert to stock via Odin . Youre fine , happens to everyone at some point . Get back on that Android horse and ride it haha .
Yes, use odin.
If flashing other kernels doesn't fix this, (ie you still get stuck after the Verizon logo with lit buttons) let me know. I've got a trick up my sleeve for this, but I've only seen it happen twice, it's pretty rare.
i'm not proud of myself but i went to verizon and they gave me a brand new device...

awwwww wheres the fun in that XD
OK I did the same thing last week. I fixed it by running voodoo uninstaller. Don't know why it worked or how but I was desperate after being without a phone for 2 days. Then that afternoon my replacement showed up via fedex

(nand)hd2 shuts off on unlock screen

Hi
I am having trouble with my t-mobile htc hd2, I have gotten hspl and MAGLDR111 on it. I have tried a couple of nand and some hang on the android boot up screen, while others like Stock Leo_Desire nand gets the black screen right after i saw the unlock screen. The only nand that works for me is the NexusHD2-Froyo_V1.9a_NAND. I have also tried clockworkmod recovery but the same thing happened; either hang on android boot up screen or black screen after i see the unlock screen. Hope someone can provide me with some help.
The NexusHD2 Froyo nand works great, its just drains quite a lot of battery from the phone; have to charge at least once a day. I want also wanted to fix this problem because I want to try different nand.
I dont remember what my previous version was because i thought it was the WM version issue so I updated.
This was the WM Version that I had installed.
RUU_Leo_1_5_TMOUS_3.14.531.1_Radio_Signed_15.42.50.11U_2.15.50.14_2_Ship
thanks.
BTW, I have tried a couple of other stock wm 6.5 roms but the same thing happened.
Same problem
I am having the same problem as you, except i havent tried NexusHD2-Froyo V1.9a NAND. Im going to try it now to see if it works.
That one worked for me woot!

that's good, just waiting to see if anyone encountered this problem or solved this problem.

Yea its annoying only one is working, i checked everywhere on the forums and the stock nand build said it just doesnt work on some. But if one of them works without a problem then tytung did it right. I went back to using the SD card i might go back to nand in the future.

DX won't reboot

My DX (running Liberty) won't go past the reboot screen, it has been sitting there for at least 15 min. Any ideas on what to do?
NVM...just re-flashed the ROM and got it running again
What have you done to the phone? Rooted, Stock, Roms etc etc, also define reboot screen. Is it the boot animation, or just the M. We will gladly help you out, but you need to be more specific with your problems
Well, glad to hear you got it working again!
Sorry for the vagueness. The screen I was referring to was the screen it goes to right after you reboot out of clockwork; all it said was "Liberty," (so yes, I'm rooted). But yeah, it's running fine now; I tried to download a theme off of a forum and I think it messed with my phone.

You're going to need to be a little bit more specific. What were you doing prior to your phone not booting?

probably one of the follow
1. Clockwork screwed up and let you flash a rom from another device (not likely)
2. If you tried to flash cyanogen rc1, then you just need to flash a different rom and you'll be fine
3. You tried to flash a gingerbread rom with a froyo kernel (if your using sense)
4. A bad flash/download, just redownload and reflash
Now these are just a few things, but with little detail of what you were doing, there is a broad number of possible problems
Overclocked too much/Undervolted too much
Flashed a wrong zip
you just messed something up
get into bootloader and see if you can go into recovery.
