I just got an imate kjam from a friend and it has WM5 and i don't anything at all. I want to upgrade it to WM6 so can anyone give me a good tutorial from where i can learn everything for it..

I am using qtek s200 G4 with WM6. I updated the WM5 ROM wiht WM6. Everything works okey but there is still one problem; The battery is not standing long. I am trying a program called battery saver. If it works I will share the ROM and my updating notes with you.

im kinda new to ROM's so i need a piece of advice.
I have a dutch MDA Compact III (t-mobile), running WM5 with ROM version : 1.13.114.1 NLD.
my problem is i want to use internet sharing with my laptop, and if i am getting everything good this is not really possible unless i have WM6.
My question is, where and how can i flash the phone to WM6? - should i? is there something i have to pay more attention to? anything about unlocking? i've never done this before so its kinda tricky to me.

You probably cannot just download WM6 for that device. If you want WM6 you will need to cook a rom (create a rom for your device) or get someone else to do.

How difficult is it to cook a rom? I have basically no experience in this area, but I am desparate for a rom for the dell axim x51 (not 51v).

i also have an xtel one phone, and am also looking for wm6 update, or atleast an aku3 for wm5.
Seems like support for this phone is waaaaaaay low, but i read somewhere that it is very similar to a Hyundai pda.
Need imate jam PM10A (ROM VERSION- 1.12.00 WWE) rom upgrade .

It should be on the FTP... Be careful though - i damaged my magician with that rom, though i was flashing off of Vista and that was over a year ago... Also, apparently, 1.12 is only for SOME magicians, cant remember which, but don't quote me on that
why not go for 1.13?

i hve got an imate jam. i was trying to upgrade my ppc rom and download the latest one rom update from the clubimate.com. i have windows vista and when i was updating it so in the middle it gave me that a connection error. although the mobile was correctly connected to the pc via usb. when i saw the screen of my mobile so there was USB written and nothing else. so now when ever i restart my ppc by removing its back so it resets and i cant do any thing to bring it to its original position.
i dont want any upgrade but i want my ppc back. as normal.
can any one pleaseeeeeeeeeeeeee help me

just do it again that iamte jam rom update to 1.12..............got to imate.com and download jam_update1.12

Not to worry. I have not personally tested with Windows Vista so, if you can use Windows XP, it would be great.
There is a special button sequence to bring the I-Mate to a Factory install mode. Then you will be able to flash the ROM again.
I can't find the sequence at the moment, but drop me an e-mail and I will surely come back to you.

hi guys not been on here for a while and cant make any sence of anything any more lol, ive been given a HTC blueangel (branded as an i-mate pda2k and want to get a better rom for it, how do i go about doing that and where would i find the best download links to the right software as a few on here dont work for me and what rom would people reccomend for it to be upgraded to
