Hello, I'm trying to get Tomtom installed on a chinese clone Pharos, but I only get the following message: "This device is not compatible with TomTom NAVIGATOR" Anyone who had this before and knows a solution?
Can I install another ROM on it? ( maybe that helps?)

I hope someone can be kind enough to assist me.
I'm trying to upgrade my SPV M1000 (orange) from WM2003 to WM2005.
I've downloaded the software but when I tried to install it the following error message comes up:
"ERROR 120 : COUNTRY ID ERROR
The ROM image you are trying to use is not designed to work with your pocket pc. Please check the vender web site and downlaod the correct ROM update"
Does anyone know what to do and where to download the correct rom? I hope it's something simple because I'm a newbie

I updated to the latest kaiser rom, but there was no tomtom included.
I got my Polaris from the German O2 and they ship it with a version of tomtom 6. So I tryed to reinstall it with the cd they also shipped with it, but the version I got is 6.0.3 and I will not find the internal GPS reciver.
I think the version that I had in the beginning was 6.3.
Is there anyone out there who can give me this version or a newer on who will recognize the internal gps.

I do have the "old" Polaris and tried to upgrade mine using this Iolite ROM provided in this thread

unfurtunately I'm getting "Error [244] : invalid model id" although I've already "installed" Hard-SPL V2!
Any ideas how to fix this?

This is original Iolite ROM. In old Polaris/Cruise you must install recooked ROM, not original Iolite ROM... Its other hardware old and new Cruise...
Anybody knows how to remove CID lock for the new cruise device (Iolite)?

I've just flashed my SDA to WM6.1 v1.6 (thanks for that) and want to install the TomTom Software.
My problem: I can start TomTom one time and next time it freezes on the start screen. Can anyone help me?

I have upgraded to wm6 and the software that worked before, tomtom and igo display: "Invalid GPS device". Can someone provide wm5 or a solution so that i can still us my phone with the GPS ?
And yes, i have tried wm6.5 and frechn wm5 and still the GPS does not work, will i ever be able to fix this ?
