TouchLockPro has a builtin SIPChanger, where you can specifiy a different SIP for Stylus In/Out and/or Portrait/Landscape. Is that what you are searching for?

Hi,
when I don't use the Hardware Keyboard I always use PhonePad as input method. The question is: is there a way to set PhonePad as default software input method? Everytime I make a softreset the standard keyboard come back!
Thanks
how do you get rid of your standard keyboard? i installed nullkb and it won't work and the annoying SIP pops up when browsing the internet in landscape mode.

is the Null Keyboad one of the keyboard options when you open the little SIP menu?
If not - try installing again, you may need a soft reboot after installing

How do I prevent on-screenm input, such as virtuual keyboard and handwritng recognition from coming up every time I click on an input box - I would rather just use the actual qwerty keyboard.
Thanks
First, get a program that allows you to specify the default input method for portrait and landscape separately - PQzII can do this:
http://www.nicque.com/PQz/
Then, get a dummy input panel. I use a free one called ZeNoKeyboard. Set this as the default input method for landscape in PQzII. Done
You can get ZeNoKeyboard here:
http://www.zepocketforge.com/Product.aspx?Prog=ZeNoKeyboard
An alternative is in PHM PowerToys, but there's no way to do a selective install so you end up with lots of other stuff (that you may not want) as well. The clipboard input pane is nice in theory, but does not display well on the Universal's VGA display:

Just start typing, and the onscreen keyboard will disappear
Hi all,
I don't like Diamond's QWERTY input method and would like to move them out from the first page for input method selection screen. Is there anyway to do it?
I tried to use registry to disable the 2 QWERTY input methods along with the phone pad input method. But when I pull up the input selection screen, their original buttons will become black buttons
If there is no way to change the input method order, then is there anyway to disable QWERTY flawlessly?
Please help.
anyone know?
i also like to find out
+1 I have a qwerty keyboard on FRENCH AZTOR v6 ROM?
But normaly a AZERTY...
Is it possible to change the layout of the keyboard when you write an sms?
It has now the qwerty in normal mode but I would like to have a keypad like on a normal phone(like t9 input mode) when writing sms with the X1(not to use the hardware keyboard)
all wm devices i've come across have been able to use phonepad
which does just what you request
dont see why x1 should not be able to use the same program
as keyboard
or any of the other 3th party onscreen keyboards for that matter
Eww why would you want to use T9 over the hardware keyboard anyway!

Yes it is possible, you should have a small arrow next to the keyboard icon at the bottom of the screen, tap on this and then you can select from a variety of keyboards including a T9 one.

No there is no T9 keyboard on the Xperia - just the ordinary and very small WM keyboard
Install TouchPal and you got yourself a nice thumbfriendly T9 keyboard on the Xperia

It was there on the demo version I played with some weeks ago.
You mean that you could select it when you open up the keyboard menu by clicking the little keyboard icon at the bottom of the screen? There is only two options there - Symbol Pad and Keyboard (and then the Options..).

Then they had installed http://www.modaco.com/index.php?act=attach&type=post&id=25258, it is the keyboard from the Diamond and can be used and works fine. But not in Swedish
I have a ww english version of the Touch 3G
The HTC software keyboard (called "Full QWERTY") nicely follows regional settings, and hence displays the AZERTY layout matching my language
The WM OS software keyboard (called "Keyboard") keeps defaulting to QWERTY...
But here comes the trick: I have an "old" bluetooth foldable keyboard (was working fine with my QTEK S100), that I am trying to use with my Touch 3G; the layout of this hardware keyboard is AZERTY.
2 options, 2 problems:
option #1: use the latest drivers available for the keyboard (which is no longer supported by the manufacturer); unfortunately, the drivers apparently don't like wm 6.1 and cause crashes in the services.exe module.
option #2 : have the keyboard recognized by wm 6.1 as standard HID BT device ("Think Outside Keyboard"): that works, despite some functionality loss I can live with, but the keyboard layout is wrong, b/c the device OS is ww english, and hence the layout is QWERTY, regardless of the regional settings....Apparently, this follows the logic of the WM OS software keyboard, not the HTC soft keyboard...
Question: in order to make option #2 work: I would need to tweak the OS to use the AZERTY keyboard layout instead of the default QWERTY... any way to accomplish that ?

Can you advice which version of FingerKeyb 2.1 work perfect in HTC Touch 3g (Jade).
Although, Jade already have Full Qwert keypad, which is quite comfortable, but it gets deformatted once I manually change the orientation to Landscape (using QuickMenu).
So, basically I'm looking for a keypad similiar or better than Full Qwerty Keypad to use in Landscape orientation.
Thanks in advance!!

You can try this one:
http://www.spbsoftwarehouse.com/pocketpc-software/keyboard/
The landscape-mode is very good, IMO, but you have to buy it after a free trial-time.
