Hi,
when I don't use the Hardware Keyboard I always use PhonePad as input method. The question is: is there a way to set PhonePad as default software input method? Everytime I make a softreset the standard keyboard come back!
Thanks
how do you get rid of your standard keyboard? i installed nullkb and it won't work and the annoying SIP pops up when browsing the internet in landscape mode.

is the Null Keyboad one of the keyboard options when you open the little SIP menu?
If not - try installing again, you may need a soft reboot after installing

Care to share how to do so, thanks.
SKTools can set it.

Hey guys,
Is it possible to delete the Windows on screen keyboard or to get another input option as standard, because it is absolutely useless and too small.
Thanks a lot!

don't bother deleting the default keyboard, just try other keyboards such as spb keyboard or resco keyboard and make it as your default one.

The easiest way is to use SKtools.
Advanced Config has a setting under "Input > Auto deploy SIP:" to disable the soft keyboard in most situations, I find that works for pretty much everything except Opera. If I remember correctly Opera has it's own registry entry for stopping the SIP popup.
I don't like having the SIP at all either, it seems pointless considering we have a hardware keyboard, and I always prefer disabling and/or complete removal than adding more software to acheive the required result.
The on screen keyboard is indeed useless. Is there a way, without installing apps, to disable it?

I've dealt a lot with opera:config and I've not found where to disable it yet
can someone point to where the SIP is on Advance Config? Can't seem to find it. Thanks.
How do I set the htc keyboard to be default?
Start Menu -> Settings -> Input -> set your Inut Method as "Full QWERTY" if that's the HTC one. I'm suprised nobody answered you, it's quite simple.
My Bad, it doesn't work after restart.

If all are checked then it should work, on all that requires text input except "notes". Try input a new (strange) word and save and input again to see if its recognised and retrieved. If it does that means it functions but something is wrongs with the lib.

I tried but still doesn't work! Very strange, also because in the other keyboard (Phone Keypad, Compact QWERTY and Full QWERTY) everything is ok!

Here is the way for this:
In SKTools open category "Maintenance", then "Input Methods". Now you can enable/disable input methods. When you klick the softkey "Action", you can use "set as default" or "Remove Key" for no used input methods.
Greetings Mirko
I have done all the steps you mentioned before but nothing good happened. Thanks anyway for your time

You can also use the Auto Lock program in: Windows Mobile Development and Hacking > Windows Mobile Apps and Games > (UPDATED 29-11) Auto Lock (CSDEVCTRL).
Sorry this isn't a link. It's just I can't post direct links because of my new member status.
