I have taken utmost care to minimized any unused space making the screen(qvga) compact & optimized but not conjested and in aligning of text and icons (32x32 & 35x35) for portrait and 32x32 for landcape .
All portrait more is 4x4 And lanscape mode is 5x5.For portrait mode choose either of the 32x32 or 35x35.
Copy to windows, overwrite and reset.

it was buggin me how the icons for the slideshow in portrait mode of the album overlapped each other and just in general looked like garbage so i remade, resized and reconfigured it to fit for portrait mode without altering landscape mode, just download, unzip then place all the files into your \Windows directory then delete the file "ha_skin_cache_p" from your \Windows directory and perform a soft reset

By default when you are on your 9x9 Panel arrangement screen, when you switch your XPERIA between landscape/portrait modes, your panels will start to move and flip along their long edges as they turn over and reposition in the other orientation.
Well this time press the Panel Settings button so that they all turn over and have the briefcase icons, and switch between portrait/landscape modes.
When transitioning from portrait to landscape mode ONLY, you will see that your panels flip along their short edges, making for a VERY surreal 3D depth to the transition. Transitioning back to portrait from landscape while in the settings mode is normal once again (Panels flipping along their long edges).
I think it's a programming error in their PanelManager.exe and they overlooked it I think the flipping along the short edges is way cooler though..... Maybe there's a hidden registry value that could be created to set the transition effect hehehe.... but that's doubtful as usually only Microsoft codes stuff to make use of hidden/non-existent registry values if suddenly present. hehe.
COOOOL: While in settings mode with the briefcases, tap on any panel so it comes in to center view and then change between landscape/portrait. again, the center/large panel will be flipping on its short or long edge.... looks neato overall hehe.
Hey dudes,
im not sure if this has already been covered... but if it has, hopefully it will be a pretty simple fix.
so, using HTC Album on my HD2... when viewing the tiled thumbnail screen i can rotate my device and the menu/display adjusts accordingly between landscape and portrait. however, when i view an image and tap the screen i only get the image menu displayed in landscape mode.
i have attached an image (copied from this thread - http://forum.xda-developers.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=279268&d=1265816180) which shows my problem pretty clearly.
the image menu is displayed as shown, whether im in portrait or landscape mode.
im hoping there is a portrait version of the image menu, along the bottom of the portrait screen (im only asking because i had a ported version of HTC Album on my Omnia, and it had both portrait and landscape menus).
any help is greatly appreciated.
cheers.
hi
im looking for a app or way of setting my home screen to be layed out in
different ways depending on if im in landscape or portait
example
portait mode
clock widget at the top
battery widget underneith
icons underneith
Landscape mode
no clock
battery widget
wireless monitor
with all icons to the left of the widgets
i have come accross doing a .xml for portait and .xml or landscape but got the feeling this is for app developing not configuring the layout of widgets and icons etc...
cheers
If you use your phone in portrait mode with 2 apps in multiwindows . Is there a way to put an application in lanscape mode when the width of the resized window is greater than the height ?
