Pictures will not rotate - Touch Pro2, Tilt 2 Themes and Apps

Is there some reason my photos will not rotate?
The g sensor is on and all but when i look at my pics and turn the phone they do not.
Advice?

That's because HTC Album v3 doesn't use the G-Sensor anymore!
That's another reason why I'm waiting for HardSPL: exchange Album v3 with Album v2.5 from Blackstone!

s2v freeze problem??

I installed s2v as a photo viewer and the scrolling is great. However, when I'm trying to assign photos to contacts, it tends to freeze up therefore not properly saving my photo to that particular contact.
Is there anything I can to do fix this freeze?
I use s2u2 and like the fullscreen photo caller id....but, the photos look blurry if I use them straight from my photo album.
So I took the advice and am trying to install them from s2v and have run into this freezing issue.
Help!

How To Get Photos In Album To Rotate

Hello
I have installed Gyrator to help with rotating photos in the albums. Im stuffed if I can sort it out. I find it strange that photos under album do not rotate. The only way to get them to rotate is open the pictures and videos tab but this means putting all my albums in the DCIM foler. I would appreciate it if someone could tell me how to get Gyrator to rotate pictures opened under the albums tab.
Thanks

HD2 Landscape Mode in Album?

Hi!
Just recieved my HD2 and being a noob to this device, I presumed that if you flipped the device into landscape, the Album would rotate into landscape mode. Do I have to set anything up on the device to enable this?
Regards,
Alan
Have a look at the wonderful BsB Tweaks app. That has a menu option in there to allow rotation for the app(s) of your choice.
A quick search of the themes and apps section should find it.
I thought the album was already landscape???
I've assumed that he means when you click the "Albums" softkey. I seem to remember having to set mine up to rotate that, but could be wrong.
Albums flops between landcape and portraid whenever I do. I thought it was the deafult action ion both the 1.43 and 1.48 ROM and I haven't fopen anything I can rememebr to change it. This is to do with the arrangement of thumbnails. If the question is really about flipping the pictures in the album to Landscape then that's totally different
What I meant is that in some of the videos I had seen on the HD2, when the guy rotated the device in the album, it went into landscape mode (riverflow or something like that). I think that the music tab did the same....
They don't need setting up - they just work. (They do for me anyway)
That's photos and videos, available from your Home Screen Tabs and not Albums.
Well, I have tried it from the Album tab and the Album application and it does not rotate.....

Click to collapse
What do you mean by album tab? Do you mean Photos & Videos?
The tab on the bottom of the screen... with the photo icon.... next to the music tab....

Yeah - that's photos & videos, not albums. #9Just to clear that up )
I take it you're holding the phone upright when you do this?
Sorry to ask that, but it's the only thing I can think of!
When you get into Photos and videos you just twist the phone, don't click on Albums or slideshow. Just in case their was any more confusion.
Thanks guys... I have sorted it.... it works now!

how did you figure it out? what did you do?
How comes pics don't roatate in landscape if you take them in potrait and visa versa? a la the iPhone? I took a picture in potrait and rotated my phone in landscape and nothing happened.

[Q] picture gallery

Is there a way to get all of the photos when viewing with the gallery to fill the screen without having to switch to landscape mode?
On my windows phone, using HTC's album viewer and scrolling thru the pics, they always were rotated the correct way as to fill the screen without having to rotate the phone, whether they were taken as portrait of landscape pictures.
This is a bit annoying.
Oh, and a second question, how about a way to make the gallery go into camera shots by default when I push the gallery shortcut.
Thanks all wise android gurus.

Gallery photo auto orientation incorrect...

On the Nexus 7 the gallery auto rotation of photo's is incorrect
i.e. landscape goes portrait and vice versa
They display fine on my Samsung Galaxy SII (source) and in the Google+ Photos from either any PC or the Galaxy SII
Is this a calibration issue? Or is there some other setting?
Cheers
David
Getting similar results
I am having this issue also. A portrait photo with the nexus held in portrait position auto rotates to fit across the screen in landscape view. This happens when auto rotate feature is both enabled and disabled. Any suggestions?
Exactly the same problem here. Photos taken on a Nexus S running Jelly Bean and uploaded via instant upload display in incorrect orientation (always over rotated by 90 degrees) in the Gallery on Nexus 7. They are in the correct orientation when viewed any other way including on the web via Picasa and on the Nexus 7 via 3rd party Picasa viewing apps. I really would prefer to use the stock Gallery app but this is so frustrating.....
Any solutions to this? Exact same issue and it is a real bother
very same problem here
If I take a landscape photo on my SGS II and have it "instant-uploaded", it will appear okay on my Nexus 7. If I take a portrait photo on the SGS2, the photo will appear in the right orientation for app. 0,1 sec, then gets rotated (falsely.) Then, if I email that falsely rotated photo to myself, the photo will appear in the email with correct orientation.
Btw in the Google Plus app both photos have the correct orientation, so it seems to be a Jelly Bean bug, not a Samsung bug.
Solution, anyone?
Same, but different....
I've got pretty much the same problem, but rather than actually rotating the picture so that it is in the wrong orientation, it keeps the correct orientation for portrait photos, but compresses them vertically into the same space that would be used for a landscape photo, thereby distorting the aspect ratio (hope that makes sense!). Same occurrences though, only in gallery, not G+, and only on this device and for portrait oriented photos uploaded via G+ instant upload.
It is driving me insane!
Same thing here except it doesn't do it to all the pics in my instant upload. Only some of them.
It's probably some Android bug as I have the same problem on my SGS2 with CM10 (JB). All photos look ok in the Gallery (although when I exit an opened portrait photo it turns 90 degree to the right in the animation. Very annoying as all portrait photos I post on G+ are wrongly oriented.
Galaxy S3 Same problem
Same problem with my Galaxy S3, i thought i was the only one with this problem, so its a relief to know I'm not the only one, its been months since this thread was created, and its still an ongoing problem, it would be nice to know if a fix is on the works, by the looks of it, it might be a bug with android not samsung, either way has anyone found a work around this?? or heard anything new on the issue
