Hi all,
I was previously using a ROM that has the HTC Dialer, but have since changed to RAv1.0.1H, which uses the default cupcake dialer.
I'm ok with it, but would like to know if there's an app/setting that will vibrate the phone when a call I made has been picked up?
Thanks!
My Hero ROM does this when a dialed call picks up, and I'd like to know how to DISable it.
Lucky me!

Going to test it now.
Update: Wrong link previously. Thanks J!tH.

What bugs do you observe ? I'd really like to try it ...
And when you say it has a SpeedDial function, what exactly does it do different from the stock SpeedDial (press a digit for 3 secs) ?
Finally, if you had to uninstall it, what do one have to do ? easy ? (thanks)

Smartdialing doesnt work
And I think you cant call 911 (I never tried) and 911 GPS is also disabled (how do you really know for sure?..)
I too have truly enjoyed it. I was using it before I upgrade to vogue on my ppc-6700 and still wasn't correctly then. Still I lived with it but not on Vogue. But if these bugs were fixed then I would definitely switch!
So if any could make it work, I would greatly appreciate
Hi when my phone rings my caller id window doesn't pop up all the way. Only a few pixels to where I can't see the number. When I check my call log the number is there but when it rings it looks like it wants to pop up all the way but gets stuck. I searched but didn't see anything related. Anyone got any help? Thanks.
are you using and 3rd party apps that may interfere with this?

It happened to me after I installed RLToday. I just did a soft reset and everything is working now.
I have phoneweaver installed but have used that for a long time without problems. I don't have any of the RL progs... I did migrate to the L26 Kaiser ROM recently... Thanks for the responses though... When I soft reset it will work again for a while.

Well it's working now but I think it'll stop working again since that's what happened last time. It may be another program I'm using in between. Guess I'll just have to test.

No, it's not related.
He wanted to know how he can have a short vibrate-signal when a call connection is established (e.g. when answering a phone call, the phone vibrates one short time and shows you that you can speak now)
Try Yota Contacts. It also has the vibrate when call picked up feature.
isn't that available on the Blackstone Dialer too?

Yes. The option became available for me after installing the Blackstone Dialer.
It's under phone options on the "Advanced" tab (the last one on the right).

But HOW to do this without additional (huge) programs?? Registry fix for example.
Like usual patch for SE k750...
Cool

Ah, cool. Sodoes this work for outgoing calls? Say when the other person picks up, so we don't have to keep phone to ear while it rings.
The feature described sounds nice, it's a HTC feature? I'v never heard of it before.

It is old feature as my granny. All sonyericsson phones have patches to make it feature and even developed for symbian...

For the fifth time in this forum, search for VAlert. It's a small problem which allows you to choose the "pulse" you want for incoming calls.
Hello all, Just wondered, on my Dash, when I got incoming SMS the screen will tunr on and let me see the msg for a while, then go to idle again. on the Snap, its not. I only hear the sound and thats it... any way to change it?
not yet..but im sure with time and reg tweaks we'll figure that out!
also im sure the new rom being cooked by ookba will have a few new added surprises

Yea, it's something under HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\CurrentControlSet\Control\Power. I just cannot recall what. Carefully poke around in there or do some searching about that key and SMS. Good luck!
What can I say, I love this forum!
looking forward, and every day for your new cooked rom
There is an app called SMS Bubble which will allow this.
I have SMS bubble installed but there is no option for that, or at least I didn't find it...
I was also trying to look at the HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\CurrentControlSet\Contro l\Power
but cant figure out which one I need

waiting for your ROM, bro
Hi guys,
I got a dialer from here, that looks really great but it has a bug and each time I try to go from keypad to call status it just freezes andI have to reboot.
So I decided I would go back to my original one but I cannot find it. I was wondering if someone had one I could use. I don't have any specific reqyurement other than I want the number to be very visible when I dial (the dialer that came with the ROM I have was dark on dark when I dialed and I could not see anything if I was outside.)
Thanks!

iDialer (See Installation Instructions Below)
How to Install:
Download and install THIS CAB.
Restart your phone after installing, and then your dialer button will be linked to iDialer!
If you want the bottom tabs (as seen in the screenshot), then you must also install iContact.
I modified the iDialer CAB to include GreenButton, so then when you press the physical Phone button, it'll open iDialer! Please tell me if it's necessary to do step 3. I don't have a SIM in my phone, so I can't test it!
So how do you config this? Are you supposed to select North America for the first option and then generate the cab? It says it "helps you easily configure iDialer v0.5," but it doesn't give much explanation as to what the options are for or what they do.

Yea, idk, lol.
Tony, tell me this.
Have you installed anything iDialer related on your phone yet? If you have, then can you tell me if it's necessary to go through that "configuration" thing for the phone to dial out? If you haven't done anything yet, then go to #2.
Since you haven't done anything yet, look 2 posts from above here. Right below the screenshot, I have instructions. Follow those, and before going to step 3, see if iDialer calls out and works properly. If it doesn't call out, then tell me that it doesn't, and then try step 3.
And look 2 posts above for directions on how to install it, caribbean_spur.

1. No, I haven't. I'm running illconcepts Back2Basics Beta with the dialer he put in it.
2. Since I haven't done anything, I installed the first cab, but it's not working, even after a soft reset. I press the call button, nothing. It doesn't even show up anywhere in my phone except the installed programs list. Wtf?
Thnaks,I will try that!

I assume you are on a different ROM, most likely not even the same build. That's probably why you had success and I didn't. Maybe I can talk ill into working it into one of his ROMs...

Yea, I think that might be for if you have a different resolution phone, or something. Whatever. Maybe you have to have iContact installed too...idk. I guess I'll check it out.

Yep, you have to also install iContact if you want the bottom "slider". Cool
Oh and Caribbean, did you have to do step 3 on the instructions from the first page??
Well I 'll work with this one for now until I find somethingwith more functions. At least it does not freeze! Sp thanks so much

No I installed it and it worked fine after I rebooted.
