Oh....it's fine.....
this can works on 1.58 or 1.64 either 1.70OliNex radio roms
if you don't want to change to other Radio , just flash HardSPL and make sure it really installed , then flash my rom. If SIM card still failed , then works on SIMunlock.

i have made a german version of yevg001's 614c_WM6.1_20270_v1.4_rev1.1 image.
it's only tested with radio firmware 0.88 (M:MP-0088-200608) - don't know if it works with other versions.
german and english t9 are included.
flash the phone as usual with the sd-loader method - and as usual.... do it at your own risk

sorry i currently don't have the time for making an image in another language than german, just try it yourself!
after i have found some language bugs in my previous image i have made a new one. there are also some other changes:
- removed some trash (google search, hp photosmart, hp help, hp tips ...)
- updated googlemaps to the latest version (streetview)
- included manila 2d/touch flo + htc album + htc audio manager + htc comm manager + manilla 2d customizer
- included youtubeplay
- manila 2d internet tab fix
- hp ipaqdataconnect - made a DACH edition (germany/austria/switzerland) - removed all other countries/providers
...
the phone is now 99% german!

thanks for your work - tryied you last version it works well but the power drain is mutch more than before. I saw that some autorun progies like HPconfig ist not active anymore - could this be a matter for the power?
Also I would prefer to keep the Ipaq data settings for the other countries in case of travelling.

it bases on 614c_WM6.1_20270_v1.4_rev1.1 (without manila, i added manila myself), when i started building the image there was no rev 1.2 out - if somebody has some spare time it would be nice to compare rev1.1 to rev1.2 and list the differences
i know about the shutdown message but i have no clue from where it comes, i have changed nearly all language files and registry entries to german (in the sys part i currently only remember the remote terminal service client where i haven't found the german files)
if anybody knows a solution please share it!

bad to hear that power consumption has increased. i haven't used the phone for 4 days now and i have 29% percent without loading since that time. (nearly no calls and no data activated)
what do you exactly mean by hpconfig?
i have removed google search, hp help and support, hp customization engine, hp cert enroller, hp internet bookmarks and defaultpage, hp ipaq tips, hp photosmart mobile, hp ringtones and hp shortcut - i don't see a relationship between that components and the power consumption??

If you don't need them, you can try it this way...you need part2.raw rename it to flash.dio and then you have got your old one....but it has to be ~80MB...
But I don't take care if these are working correctly
but other issues are:
* the bad camera went from bad to worse!
* Wireless doesn't work very stable...it sometimes deactivates itselfe, if I want to connect to a network manually and sometimes it disappears from the wireless-manager....
but the rest its a stable ROM and much faster....

New Connection Setup 2.7 and provision.zip for old Network Wizard

Hello All,
I have searched for a couple hours and have not seen this anywhere else, so I am making a new post here (hope I am not repeating what is already posted elsewhere, nor catch flack from mods).
Someone on another forum has extracted all the settings from the provision.zip from the latest Connection Setup 2.7 and made it possible to use on the old Network Wizard version. I could not "re-find" that other forum where I found this (sorry to the chap who did all this work with no recognition in this forum). I tried it on my HTC Wizard for Canada (Rogers) and Germany (E-Plus) and they both worked. I would imagine all the rest should work. It is from latest Connection Setup database version DB15.0144.
I caution though, USE AT YOUR OWN RISK! Just copy the provision.zip file on to your root Windows directory to use with the old Network Wizard.
Secondly, I could not find this either anywhere else either; an OEM Package for the newer Connection Setup 2.7 to use for cooking into new ROMs. This also works on older devices such as Wizards, where the previous Connection Setup v.1.#'s would not (or at least I couldn't get those older ones to work). It also has the ConnSetUp Download worked into the package, though I am not sure if this part of it works on all devices.

Sorry ... here is the Package noted above. It did not upload after several attempts.
I couldn't figure out exactly why. So I tried just the files without the "newer" version of provision.zip included (made the upload much smaller).
For some reason I cannot get the provision.zip file for this newer network Connection Setup to upload along with the package. You will need to find it elsewhere. (in the meantime I will keep trying to upload it)
(NOTE: the provision.zip from post #1 is for use with older Network Wizard, not for this newer Connection Setup. So don't use it for this...it won't work)

I'm looking for a HTC Connection Setup 3.1 which is included in several current ROMs but can't find a cab for it.
The closest I got is HTC Connection Setup v2.7 in the SysConSetupTopaz27.cab found in this post. I just checked & it includes India in the drop down menu. Maybe that works for you?
EDIT: Finally found it and posted the cab here: HTC Connection Setup PPC v3.1.2016.2829.cab. Best of all it has India in the menu & a link to update the carriers database! Please post feedback if it worked for you.

Overall performance is very good.......fast. I have used manila 2d from stock rom......also there is a plugin called pocket digital clock....
FAQS
1. ActiveSync Starts up Again and Again Automatically Even When the Phone is Not Connected to USB cable or Bluetooth
Solution: It happens for some strange reasons that i haven't been able to find but for now there is a workaround for it.
For Users who use Exchange server with ActiveSync will have no problem if they have set the update schedule to manual. Otherwise, if you are using the push mail feature of exchange, then ActiveSync will run all the time for syncing and that is very normal.
For User who dont use Exchanage server, they should create a fake server and then set the update schedule to manual to prevent ActiveSync from running on its own. Here are the steps for that.
First of all, configure ActiveSync with your PC if you want to sync with PC using the usual method. After that:
1. Open Activesync on your phone and from the menu choose Configure Server...
2. Enter any email address. Clear the checkbox titled "Attempt to detect Exchange Server Settings Automatically". Click Next.
3. In server address, enter localhost or anything else. Click next.
4. Enter any username, password and domain name. I mean random strings. Also check save password checkbox.
5. Clear all the checkboxes in the "Data you want to synchronize" list. Click Finish.
6. Open Menu>Schedule. Here set both the dropdown lists to "Manually" and clear both the checkboxes. Click OK and close ActiveSync.

After that I have noted that my clock is always lagging behind 10 to 15 minutes daily. I don't know whether it is related to new ROM or other problem.
Also my camera stopped working before installing this ROM, BUT after installing this new ROM, it is not working...

Bu default the region is hungarian. Go to settings - menu - all settings - system - regional settings, change to your preffered region and mon tue wed will come back

Yes 23534 is under testing, so it will be up soon, but in my other ROM thread (you can find it in my signature)
This thread will be only for COM2 builds.
