Hello,
It's possible to set azerty for keyboard layout when you select dutch language, because I life in belgium and there they use the azerty keyboard layout, but we flemisch people speak dutch and when I select that language I just can use the qwerty layout.
The only thing I can imagine is to select france for language and then I have the good keyboard layout, but that language I don't understand.
Somebody who knows how to fix this?

As the subject says. I would love to see some pics of the swedish-layout
keyboard. Where are the ÄÖÅ letters placed?
Norwegian Layout
I believe the swedish layout to be the same as the norwegian. Attached is an image of the norwegian one. As you see both Ä and Ö are present.
Thanks for the picture.
That's correct, it is the same in Sweden as in Norway
Same keyboard is in Finland too.
If any having problems setting the correct layout after rom update, i suggest using norwegian layout (finnish layout didn't work, or it wasn't recognized by the system)
I have a TC with Dutch Qwerty keyboard, but i really want a Belgian Azerty keyboard on it. I prefer the originale keyboard of the TC.
Is there a way that i can change the original keyboard?
I have a WWE ROM and I would like to keep it. However, I do kneed the portuguese keyboard, because of the accents and characters specific to the portuguese language. Is there a way to change just the keyboard, like in regular windows? Sorry if this question is silly, but I'm new to Windows Mobile.
Thanks.
UPDATE: found out the solution
please share your solution with everyone. I am in similar situation, but need danish keyboard layout for WWE ROM
+1
I also need the Portuguese Keyboard and don't want to install 3rd party keyboards. I like HTC's. Please share your solution.
Thanks.
I found a workaround, if not a solution. I have no problem with the US layout of the keyboard, just needed Portuguese special characters. The workaround is to tap and hold the key then the special characters appear. For instance, if you tap and hold "a" you can access "á, à, ã" etc. So this works for Portuguese and Spanish at least. Don't know about other languages. Hope this helps others.
PS: of course there still remains no T9 beside English.
How can i change my keyboard language from english to greek . I go to menu , settings , language and keyboard , touch input , settings and the default language is only english and nothing else .I want to put there the greek language so i could write with greek with my hardware keyboard . Thank you
I want to know too
I want Thai landuage on Europe Fw.
Up.
I'm also interesting in changing my languages. For this purpose, I tryied to change it by using morelocales. The result is that now, I'm well localised on websites (i.e, youtube from the good country). But I don't have the good language predictive feature.
In the keyboard parameter, I have configured a foreign language but I don't see any difference.
How can I solve this?
Thanks for your help.
I forget. I tried by using swype. It works with the virtual keyboard but I lost the predictive feature with the physical keyboard.
bump.
i would also like to be able to use Chinese pinyin on the hardware keyboard.
Using google pinyin works, but i have to change the input everytime because the english sucks.
I have a international version of the Galaxy Note. So far I love it. I have french on it but it gives me an azerty keyboard instead of a qwerty one. Is there a way to change the keyboar layout for that french or is there a way to add canadian french to the languages?
Try going to settings, then to language and keyboard then select language as English UK. This language has qwerty keyboard as default.
Then go back to settings, language and keyboard and set French as the phone language.
Now press home key. Open up the keyboard (e.g on messaging/browser/email), and click the key with the world symbol on it (bottom row of keyboard on left - with Swype).
By clicking this, u should now be able to switch easily between qwerty and the other keyboard type, whilst keeping the general phone language French. Hope this helps.

Couldn't attach this to previous post for some reason, but think this kind of keyboard set up is what you're after
