Screen doesn't turn on, Help! - Touch HD General

Today at work my Touch HD's screen just stopped working. Had it sitting on my desk (not plugged into the PC) and i went to turn the screen on and nothing. Pulled the battery and turned it back on, phone briefly vibrated (as it does) but still nothing on the screen
I've confirmed the phone works fine by using MyMobiler, and i can still do everything on the phone. All soft keys still work, as well as swiping on the screen to unlock it. What else can i try?

I'd try a hard reset mate. But it does sound like you screen could be dead :-( and if you hard reset and your screen still doesn't come back then I doubt you'll be able to get back in via mymobiler either.

I have this problem with mine recently too.
Sent for servicing and seems that they need to change the whole board!
Looks like we have the same defective batch..

touch screen problems

i am having some problems using the touch screen. sometimes the touch screen will not work. i just replaced both the lcd and touch screen, and it was working fine for a couple of hours. the problem is, the touch screen will work for a little while, and then stop working. sometimes, if i put the phone into standby mode and then wake it up, it will work again for a little, or if i slide the screen open, and then close it, the screen will work again. i tried hard reseting and recalibrating the screen, and no luck
Well, I don't think it's a Rom problem,it's more like a Hardware,as you already replaced Lcd,maybe the digitizer connections/Tape plug are not properly having their contact. You can try to recheck it out and see if it is placed/fixed properly, you can reflash Rom and see if it helps.
Did you replace the Lcd yourself or got it done by the vendor,if by the vendor, better ask them to check and fix it.
Cheers
lcd
yea i did it myself, and i guess from now on, i wont be . but i tried opening it and cleaning all the contacts, and checking all connections. after i closed it all up it worked great for an hour or so, then i stopped using it, and when i went back to using it, it stopped working correctly again.

[Q] G1 Startup Issue

Hey, I'll make this as accurate as possible so that you guys can help in any way.
I've had this g1 for a while, but didn't really use it because I was using my Touch Pro2, but wanted to go back to it for a while. I charged it for a little while, and then tried turning it on, but what happened was that I saw a striped pattern, which disappeared and then the g1 vibrated. It happened again, but the colors weren't as bright, and then it vibrated again. After 2 or 3 more times that this happened, the g1 backlight stayed on, but the screen was blank, and it kept vibrating after a little while. After like 2 minutes of this happening, the backlight was still on, but the vibrating stopped, and the phone never turned on.
I tried connecting it to my computer, and couldn't do that because it didn't pop up on the computer screen (g1 screen is blank, but on). The charger works because the orange light comes on.
What is the problem, and how can i fix it?
any help will be much appreciated.
thank you
P.S. can't enter factory reset (holding down the home+end key), it does the same thing.

[Q] Keyboard/Hardware Issue?

Hi,
I bought my Flipside at the beginning of June and it's been fine up until yesterday. When I slide the keyboard out the screen spazzes out and sometimes works afterward but usually fades to black, causing me to have to take the battery out and turn the phone back on. I can still use the on-screen keyboard but the screen is too small for that to work very well. If the screen starts spazzing out (everything moving around and flashing and jumping) and I try to turn the screen off and back on once it's off it doesn't come back on. Also almost all the time the first time I try to turn the phone back on it hangs on the "M" screen and i have to take the battery out and try to turn it on again. I tried a hard reset but that didn't help anything. I'm worried since this phone is barely a month old that it might be a hardware issue but I don't think I got insurance on the phone and can't afford a new one right now so..any ideas?
Thanks
EDIT: Also, there is no water damage and I've only dropped the phone a couple times, and there's a case on the phone

Galaxy S4 Screen only works sometime (or not at all)

Hello! Been using my phone (I9505) for like 2 years now and all worked perfectly. Suddenly, my touchscreen stopped working. After some hours of waiting, it worked back again, but then stopped working as well. After repeating this cycle, today is the first day that I couldn't use my touch screen at all. Touch screen buttons (capacitive buttons I believed they are called) work great. Also, I figured out something, If I press the power key and fastly move my finger around the screen 'till it turns on, it does detect my finger, but after the screen has turned on it doesn't let me use the touchscreen. I've tried reformatting the phone a couple of times but no success (not only factory, but mega wipe as well).
Any help, please?
P.S: Also, forgot to mention, daydream function was activated and it worked well, but when my touchscreen was unresponsive, If I had let my screen turned on, it wouldn't go into it, but simply turn off the screen. I believe it's something to do with deep sleep? (I believe that was a known-problem for the ROM I was using at that time (Albe's lollirom). Atm I'm not using it anymore.
Bump
Maybe you should try going back to stock rom.
Or, when you get one of those moment where it works, go into developer settings and activate the option to show the pointer or touch response.
After 2 years it happens that stuff breaks. Depending on how much care you take of it.

Touch stop working after turning off and on the screen.

I've been using the PH-1 for a year and a half and its great, but a couple days ago i would unlock the phone via fingerprint (as ussual), it would unlock but the touch wont work, so i factory reset the phone and still the same, remove the case and the screen was loose (almost complete), but the cable was well connected on both sides so i got the screen glued, but still the same.
Im using Android Pie (from day 1) with March update (updated like a week ago), in order to use the phone beyond what Google assistant can do i have to reboot the phone (using power and volume buttons) to get the touch to work again and dont let the screen go off. Sometimes after rebooting the touch works even if i turn the screen off and on, but i think its just luck.
You guys think it might be a software issue? or hardware issue? because i don't live in the US or CA, so i would have to wait a couple weeks for the screen to get here and i would'nt be able to return it in case its not a screen malfunction.
I really don't wanna change my phone, i love the PH-1.
EDIT: i just replaced the screen with a new one from fixez.com and the problem persists, i think april's update broke something. is there something i can do to check the software? Pls help.
I rooted my phone and almost the same thing happens. I turn off the screen and turn it back on and the touch is unresponsive. Howver, ONLY the apps left on screen are unresponsive. I can still pull down from status bar its weird.
Update 1: I saw u mention fingerprinting. I removed mine and somehow it seems to have stopped. I'll use it for about another day or 2.
Update2: Well it doesn't. If my screen times out with an app open. The app is unresponsive upon waking.
