Hi all, I have a Vodafone V1640, with latest Tomal ROM (great work, imho!!)
Unfortunately, I have to reinstall original WM5 Rom to use videocall, but I don't have the original italian ROM anymore.
So I ask your help, may anyone here provide me a V1640 Italian rom?
I can prove the authenticity of the device in pvt if needed.

hi, I'm the new kid on the block and recently have bought a Dopod 838 in China with simplify chinese WM5. Would like to flash it to english and willing to share the rom but need to know how to do it.

Generally, the process for changing ROM's follows two steps. Unlocking and Upgrading the Rom. Find a ROM to your liking on the ftp files in the forum. Download lokiwiz and read up on it to unlock your device for foreign ROM's. Sync device (be prepared for the complete wipe of info) and run the rom upgrade utility. Look in the Wizard Upgrade Forum for more info on the ROM's themselves. Actually, right after you read this, just go to that section anyway. There's a TON more information on this subject that's quite helpful.

i've made some search, and on the FTP on xda-dev., and i can't find the original O2 XDA Neo ROM.
I'm having a strange issue with phone audio (and only phone), and, although i don't think that this comes from my flashing from O2 German to S200 French ROM, i need to flash it back to the original ROM before sending to O2 for repair.
So, does anyone know where i could find that ROM and flash it on my XDA?
Or maybe O2 released a new ROM that i could apply form their website (i don't understand German, so can't find the link to an eventual update).

I am just curious, if you do nto understand German, why you want to flash the XDA Neo ROM? As I know, that is a German ROM, not a English ROM!
Because i need to send it to repair.
If they see a ROM with another language, for sure i'll not have it repaired under waranty.

I've been searching the site for a Spanish ROM but when I reach this page http://wiki.xda-developers.com/index.php?pagename=ROMVersions , I see there are two spanish ROM, but both with dead links. I imagine that there must have been some kind of problem with the FTP site, but is there anyone who could, please, point me in the right direction?

I have:
T-mobile MDA Vario G4
Sim+CID unlocked
a german O2-Card
I installed several packages of the german O2 extended rom, I found on the ftp-server of xda-developers. But the extended rom cabs aren't completely on the ftp-server (I had a xda mini s before, which I modified a lot).
After installing some homezone-enabling cabs my screen often shows the HZDisplayDataSMP stuff.
So please, can somebody upload the P_EONS_MSFT_Default_O2DE.CAB ?
