HELP - Did i just brick my HTC ?

Hello, i used imei-check's program to unlock my phone, i did a hard-reset and then i used the PDAMobiz_Dopod_P800W_AKU301_v1.1.2_PowerMap.exe. I did executed it on my pc, and there was a dos window saying something about waiting some minutes and everything was fine. After ~10 minutes, i was seeing that nothing was going on on either my phone or my pc, so i did reset the phone and closed the dos window. But since then my phone stays on the HTC screen, displaying the following
IPL 1.12.0001
SPL 1.12.0000
GSM 02.67.90
OS 1.28.0.0
I tried to download a small rom from my manufacturers site and i did went onto bootloader screen, by holding the upper left and upper right buttons and then the reset button, and i did flash the new small rom, but it keeps staying there. Is there a way to flash the original rom back in ?
PLEASE HELP ME !
PS : How do you hard-reset using the hardware buttons ?
To do a hard reset.
Press both soft keys and insert stylus into soft reset button and press.
Release the soft reset button and keep pressing the soft keys.
When the "This operation will delete all your personal data, to manufacturer default" appears on screen.
Press Green call button to restore manufacturer default, or press other keys to cancel.
The bootloader is invoked by pressing down the Power and Voicedialer buttons simultaneously, and using the stylus at the same time to press the RESET button at the left side. Continue pressing the two buttons for a few seconds after pressing and releasing the reset button until the bootloader screen appears.

I DID THE SAME!
Please someone share the original rom for MDA Compact III T-Mobile UK!
It can be anything to fix the device.
Pleeease!
P.S.
Is there any software to dump a rom from other device?
I have access to my firend's MDA and possibly could use his to get a copy.
You guys seem to have the same problem as me
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=294551
I have already download all the original ship ROMs from XDA-FTP but no luck to try any of them on my device. It always said "Invalid Model ID". Some people said, the CID area was damage and the only way I can do is open my device and use jtag interface to directly flash my ROM without access to bootloader. I am now trying to do that and the last chance is to send my phone to Imeicheck (Glasgow, Scotland) to get it fixed.
Anyway, if you want any of these ROMs please email me ([email protected]) and give me your FTP so I could upload them. Sorry cannot send over email because they were big (~40Mb).
Just upload them on rapidshare and send me a private message with the links. If i dont get it to work, i am gonna send it back and get a replacement.
Same problem
I also got the same problem as you are, not even a hard reset helped me to start the p3300 ... My device is not CID free so i can flash only the htc italian rom into it (i had italian language in my device) and i can't find anywhere a rom with italian language so i'm stuck and i don't know what to do ... ( i tryed flashing all the roms found on FTP but my p3300 won't accept any of them )
If anybody got an ideea how to fix this problem or got a htc rom with italian please upload it somewere
Thanks

I will try to upload this Rom to... If this doesn't work i tihnk that you should send you device to the service center...
QUESTION (a little off topic) : Are mods ok with rapidshare links?or not?
Another Question (a lot off topic) : How about writing a guide about everything that concerns artemis, for newbies... i am a noob to, and i am looking for others to write down a guide about useful tasks such as unlocking unhiding, customizing extrom, making themes, must have progrs with simple steps so that we can understand... Write them down in one place and when they are final upload them on the wiki site... Is anyone in??? Please send me Pm if you are interesting in order to open a new subject in the forum...

Yeah! I'm in. I will describe my way to get the device back to live - if I ever get it.
So far I got information that seems to be quite important to those that are stucked on Invalid ID error.
Apparently the ROM named ART_DOPODASIA_10270701_024190_WWE_TEST works for all model IDs.
So share please.

You're a star!!!
It is alive !
The original ROM worked at last! And here is the story:
1. Bought IMEI-CHECK and unlocked the MDA Compact III
2. Flashed with PDAMobiz_Dopod_P800W_AKU301_v1.1.2_PowerMap.exe (with device on Today screen)
3. The process started and stuck on "uploading file [don't remember] and as the instruction said I reseted the phone after 30 minutes.
4. T-Mobile splash screen, version infos and that's it.
5. Tried to flash again in bootloader mode but the device was not visible by PC
6. Thankfully to djsolid tried to flash with HTC Original and ended up with Invalid ID
7. Flashed with the original ROM from T-Mobile UK and it is working now.
I am not sure when I will try to flash it again
Well, my phone is alive again, thanks to http://www.pdamobiz.com/show_news.asp?NewsID=74701&PN=1
I have flashed my phone with the dopod rom, and it worked ok, and then i flashed the Powermap one, and it works fine.
ROMS
Hello,
I have just bought myself an Xda Orbit, and previously have had Exec, Blueangel etc but was gutted to hear about Micro$oft and their action. i am very keen to customize my phone and ext rom etc just like i used to do and wrote about last year so i am willing to create a new website and will host myself and have all the roms available as a download for all to share BUT i need the roms. i have just downloaded from rapidshare the t-mobile rom and will download the ext rom from this ftp site but i need more roms and any programs that are useful i will host on the site and just link it to this site for downloading. i am not sure how to host ftp but i can learn....
let me know if this will be useful and i will get the ball rolling in getting an address and hosting account. thanks

Yes ,it's still in trouble. what can i do.....
can you make a hard reset?? by pressing simultaneously the five buttons : power button, camera button from left side, green "send" button and red "end" button from keypad and the soft-reset button (using your stylus)... ? (i was tired first time i wrote the procedure, my mistake!)
or, perhaps, enter bootloader by pressing simultaneously the two front buttons (the left and right of the keyboards joystick) and the soft reset (using your stylus)
if ok, you'll have that screen again, showing vG.39 on bottom, and "serial" or "usb" on top...
Helo !
You can try hard reset, bat not in the way wikidork was told you. You must press POWER button, GREEN dial button, RED stop button together and then pres RESET with stylus. If this wont work then try with bootloader mode like wikidork told you. When you are in bootloader mode try to upgrade with French ROM and then with ENGLISH one like i did. This must work.

Drahtman
NO use.
Always black
that means you accidentaly broke your hp's bootloader... unless you have some knowledge on dealing with JTAG-related operations, it seems useless to try other software miracles...best advice : sell the rest of your device or buy a similar hp with broken display from e-bay, in order to change the mainboard... or send the dead ipaq to some professional service...
regards
Pls Where is french rom?
i hope recuperate hw6915... pls help
i have hw6915 and now appears on screen SERIAL and vG.39. I tried write rom with ruu.exe and .... "code 203: UPDATE IS INCOMPATIBLE

Help with Cingular 8525/Herm100 mobile phone/mobile windows pda

I am seriously needing some light shed over here please some one i have been hunting and hunting, I even wrote a post to try to get help please help me so if any one else needs any help like this I may be able to help them also.
My phone was going through a flash when it restarted it got "Bricked" at the Windows Mobile splash screen. I want to know is there any way I can unbrick my Cingular HTC 8525 Herm100 device, via SD(micro). I have reformated my card but it still wont go to the bootloader, I have witnessed the small text at the bottom left of the screen that reads "No GSM" imediately after the phone comes on. Now either I am over reading something or missed something but if I could trouble some of the devs, admins, users, or even (not recommended, but im desperate to get working) flamers...
Please help me so that I may help others later on. Thank you
Im not a know it all....but I'll try and help.
Questions...
1) Have you tried to do a Manual load of the Boot-loader (POWER+OK+RESET)..?
Usually I HOLD the POWER+OK then hit the RESET while still holding the other two buttons, until the boot-loader loads.
2) Try taking out your Sim's card, see if the NO GSM is still there...?
I've had this problem on other phones in the past.
3) Unbricking using the SD card..? try doing a SEARCH THIS FORUM option for a
more dedicated search...
I would use a USB cord for the unbricking, as I have had better chances of undoing a brick.
Also you can used a "Motorola Razr", USB cord also with this phone for the USB options.
Well hope something works for you.
Thanks and good Luck.
Jake Howe
You also need to have installed Hard SPL V7... If you haven't then I hope you have a copy of your SHIPPED STOCK ROM as this may be th eonly thing that will fix your Hermes. If it has the "No GSM" error then its possible you will still have a brick. It generally means the radio rom is corrupted and is impossible to fix...
Thank you guys for the response I have reversed the brick of the phone a few days ago. My other question is, do anyone know how/or if it is possible to flash the phone and lock it to an "IDEN" type phone or know the Network ID Code for a Carrier called, boost mobile; a subsidiary of Sprint/Nextel.

HTC HD2 not turning on after rom update

Hi,
I made a HSPL and it's succesfull cause i saw "we hacked it" on screen, than i download a rom from htc's site and install it successfully and than my device turned off.
I tried all of the button variations but unable to open my phone again. I tried the hard reset (volume down+on) and etc.
And still no sign of living
I tried another battery which is working and still a NO. I tried to charge it and no amber or green light appears.
But i find out when i connect the device to pc with usb, it gives me a sign of living that my 64 bit win 7 tries to install a driver called Qualcomm CDMA Tech. MSM driver. But unable to install it too.
Please tell me what to do cause i need to give this phone working to my cousin.
You downloaded a rom from HTC's site? Im no expert... but could you link to where you found this?

Hi,
It's a Turkish rom upgrade, i wanted to change the WM to Turkish
Interesting.... but its Tmobile US HD2?
Yes it's a Tmobile US HD2
but the rom isn't tmous.and it won't have a .50. radio.
unlucky. theres a thread sticky at the top of the tmous section with a possible new brick fix. don't know ifit's this problem, but worth a look.
edit - ROM versiyonu: 1.66.468.1
couldn't find it actually i'm a newbie can u give me the address?
bookmark this
http://forum.xda-developers.com/forumdisplay.php?f=631
that's your tmous section the thread is top one or two posts in rom development section
I read that topic now but i couldn't understand how will i open the device to bootloader status cause i tried it million times and no sign of living from my leo
first i have to put the device on bootloader but this is my problem
yeai've just been reading it too. seems it's for a different problem.
your only hope then is take it back.
2 words: Search Function.
Seriously though, please use the forum's search function before posting yet another thread.
On topic, your bricked. The brick fix only works if you can actually get to the bootloader: which you can't do because you installed the wrong ROM. The only current solution is to send it back to T-Mobile and play dumb.
Sorry,
~Jasecloud4

Crashed T-mobile MDA Vario

Hi, all.
I've been reading a lot through these forums and I've learned a lot, but I don't seem to be able to fix this by myself. I have a Dutch T-mobile MDA Vario (WM5) that's over 3 years old so I'm not worried about voiding warranties.
A few weeks ago, my phone didn't want to boot anymore. I don't know if it's related, but around a week before the crash it had problems with finding the SIM card.
When I boot, it quickly gets stuck at the white background with gray/pink squares and the T-mobile logo. This is the data that's given (after a few factory resets):
IPL 2.21
SPL 2.21
GSM 02.19.11
OS 2.21.2.5
After that, it... just... hangs..., no matter how long I wait.
I tried to reset it to factory defaults (holding the three buttons + power button). The resetting seems to work, but then it gets stuck at the same screen again.
I came along forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=298613 <-- this thread, and I figured that I might as well try to flash it. I mean, if it doesn't work, well then at least I've tried. As you notice I'm new at this. I'm not afraid of electronics but flashing phone roms is new to me.
I can startup to the bootloader menu (photobutton + power) which tells me:
IPL 2.21
SPL 2.21
So, I've got a G3 device.
When I connect the USB cable to my pc (Win XP SP3), my PC gives the normal sound when a USB device is connected. the MDA nicely adds the text USB to the lower left of the screen. Nice. ActiveSync doesn't recognize it, but that seems to be normal, or so I read.
Following the thread's advice, I've downloaded the needed files and want to install them as ordered. First in the list is the Wizard_Love rom, so I go ahead and try to install it (from c:\XDA\final\). The first download link is broken, but at the end of the tread there is another link( to Wizard_Love_2.26.10.2_WWE_Novii_CF2.rar). The installer is in Spanish(?) but if it can give me back my phone, I'm fine with it. Besides, the readme is in English...
Then, after a short while, it gives me the following error:
ERRORE [300]: STRUMENTO DI AGGIORNAMENTO NON VALIDO
and some more text. I don't speak Spanish, but strumento will translate as instrument and non valido will undoubtedly be 'non-valid'.
It seems somehow that the communication still has some issues. I have just charged the battery, so that's not a problem here.
Do I have a wrong wizard_love rom? If yes, where can I get a proper one?
If not.. What else can I do?
Thanks in advance. You'll be my hero
You could always try to flash the original ROM and see if that gets you past the boot screens.
The installer language translates to Italian, ERROR [300]: INVALID UPDATE TOOL.
Try a different No ID Installer package, not the whole ROM just the No ID Installer.
Thanks! You have no idea how happy you made me..
Your comment on installing the original ROM sent me in the right direction. I went to t-mobile.nl and looked for updates (I shoud've done this much earlier). Where the hard reset failed, the official update worked flawless. I have yet to do the radio update, but I have my phone back! phew, 3 weeks with my old (by now- fossil) Samsung X100 made me realize how much I love this phone.. The QWERTY keyboard to begin with, my agenda, programs...
