The Trinity does not have FM radio capabilities.
The "Radio" stands for the part of the firmware responsible with the radio communications, as for GSM, GPRS, EDGE, 3G, WiFi, Bluetooth and GPS.
Use search and check the Wiki.

a good trade off is a flat data connection and resco radio
what's a "a flat data connection"??
pay fixed monthly amount no matter how much internet data you use, restricted on speed and/or fair use

what do you think about my 3G conne tion?

just wondering if you guys are getting the same or better data performance with your 3G connection. if you do not mind sharing your download speeds and latency along with location. i live in Phnom Penh, Cambodia.

I'm in france an I have almost the same result.
Depending in the hour of the day, I can get 6 to 14Mbps.
I'm new here and i want to know the difference bt 2G and 3G?

Network extender?

What does it mean when it says my phone is a network extender?

I have the same issue. My Verizon signal is terrible at my brothers home, barely one bar as is AT&T. He has an signal booster from AT&T. Obviously my phone is not compatible with said booster, I suspect it picks up that signal over my Verizon, therefor "Network Extender" is displayed on my drop down menu as well.

It's not saying your phone is a network extender, it's CONNECTED to a network extender..
As for it using the AT&T extender (in the 2nd post), have him log into it and block your phones ESN from his extender, and it won't use it anymore.
Thanks!

Made the jump

This is known by most of us here, but I recommend switching to T-Mobile. I paid my edge off and made the jump yesterday after testing with a prepaid Sim. All features work just fine. My battery life is now where I expected it to be.
Just do it!
Oh yeah, I finally get LTE speeds.

If you can get them to put up some frigging towers around here I'd love to switch. Otherwise I'd have a nice WiFi-only non-phone.
What does the provider have to do with battery life? forgive the noob question
If you have a good signal, your phone won't have to search for a signal, thus saving power on your battery. My Maxx dies everyday at work because I don't get a good signal. I have switched to T-mobile which has a tower right down the street. I am happy cause my phone should last all day like it is supposed to.

battery problem , need help!

Try to disable wi-fi scanning, turn on smart power and update your software. Which model are you using?
Try calibrate battery - there is a few app with root on play store
Less coffee for your device.
