carousel on Treo Pro - Palm Treo Pro

Hey all this guy in the office said he had the carousel working on the treo pro. I was looking to get this working on my Fuze but I cant find anything out about it. Im starting to think that he is a bit confuzed as he is not a tech junkie like me. Whats your opinion? Do you think he just downloaded mobile shell http://www.mobilityminded.com/704/spb-mobile-shell-v30-user-interface-step-by-step-review
I downloaded the WM carousel demo http://nativemobile.blogspot.com/2007/11/carousel-demo.html but it was not a working GUI and just seemed to be a very lame version of TF3D.
I see a different GUI carousel on a standard device but its also lame and of course its on a standard device. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hs3WQH6a-sY
I have searched and searched the net and Im beginning to think he really dosent have the WM carosel working on his Treo Pro. I would just ask him about it but I barely know him and Dont want him to think that I am insulting his tech skills.

..DELETED.

bumpy bumb bumb bumbity

Let's try to use the SPB Mobile Shell in newest version.
I'm not sure, if it is working on Treo Pro, but on other phones it's working fine.

I got another look at my coworkers treo pro and it is SPB Mobile Shell. Thats good,,,, i'd hate to think that this guy new of something I didn't ,,,, chuckle chuckle

TOUCH UI

has anyone started work on getting the new HTC touch UI onto othere devices?
Hope so... I also want it...
yes I'm waiting too.
TouchFLO - if we can take this option to our model, that's cool.
and I thought someboy will sone this job vry soon.
Simple example
I've made a simple first version of the HCT Touch UI, based on one or two pictures I saw on the internet.
I made it in Wisbar Advance Desktop, just a fix docking background for the color and lines and then placed 6 few icons on it...
It is a start. Also a Comm Manager has been done in this format.
It can be downloaded elsewhere if you google or you can find it in the WM6-Hermes forum.
Hi!
Here you can see some interesting videos of the gui, quite interesting: http://www.theunwired.net/index.php?itemid=3899
Is there any shipped devices with this functionality on the market yet?
Regards,
PK
there is a software called SPB mobile shell which is almost similar to this

there's lots of software which can do this (like WAD). but the looks we have to make ourselves. problem is there are not that much pictures yet of the HTC Touch...
I'd love to have Touch UI working on my Artemis, and then probably on future HTC devices as well.

FlowFX by Aspecto Software similar to TouchFLO on HTC Touch?!

Hello,
Since I'm not experienced with programming for windows mobile I have big wish on you guys.
I love the idea/technic how the GUI on HTC Touch works and hope it will be possible on my HTC Hermes one day too.
When I installed the newest version of WiFiFoFum I realized a great flipping effect between pages in this tool. Now I have even seen that the author of this program gives away the source code (http://www.aspecto-software.com/rw/applications/developer/flowfx/index.html).
Hope somebody can make us Cube GUI for any windows mobile device (at least for HTC Hermes )
your link is broken, the link is: http://www.aspecto-software.com/rw/applications/developer/flowfx/index.html
But i second this idea, i downloaded the demo, SOOO COOL tho i want it for the herald
thanks for the info. I've updated the link.
Yea this would be too cool!
could this transition be used perhaps with wisbar to go between desktop screens?
that would be pretty hot...
ok soooooo
wife wants to know how much I have to donate to get this to flip pictures instead of forms?
This would be perfect for rlToday and cLaunch.

WM Shells on Xperia

Hello there,
firs of all I am sorry if this thread was solved before, but I cannot find anything.
Xperia is my first phone with WM so I am little out Please be patient, if you can show me the way I'll be happy
I want to ask about WM shells. I think that the panels are useless and standard WM interface sucks. I want something I can use comfortably by fingers.
I searched the web and found these shells:
SPB mobile shell 2.1.4
Winterface 1.2
PointUI (probably not out yet?)
Then I saw that there is a possibility to put a HTC touch flo 3d on Xperia. What is the difference between TF3D and manila2D?
Are they any other good shells, that can be used on Xperia? Which is the best, that you can recommend or not?
Thank you for your time

SPB Mobile Shell 3

Hi Guys,
I tried to install SPB Mobile Shell 3 (3.0.0 build 6363), but it failed
Anyone tried it yet, or got an other version to work.
They got it 2 work on an Touch HD > http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=F7fBRUwOYUM
And it looks cool and I really want it. Cause I don't like Touch Flow Manilla.
Hi
In my Phone is working just fine
It's a really good software, I'm waiting for the final release to buy it.
I have it and absolutely LOVE LOVE LOVE it!
Since I don't know how to flash to the HARDCPL, I figured this is the best way to make the phone look nice
Hi,
I think the commercial version of SPB Mobile shell 3 is available from today (21st April).
I just have a question for the SPB Mobile shell users (any version) -
After installing this, do we have the option to switch back to the original HTC touchflo screen (Manila 2D)? Not just by uninstalling mobile shell, but an option in the home screen selector settings to switch back and forth between touchflo and mobile shell?
I have SPM Mobile Shell 3 and it rocks!
Dunno if switching from TF2D to MS3, and vice versa, is possible.. I didn't bother testing....

Izzyzc, will it be possible for you to check it for me??
prob is that touchflow replaces the lower left softkey to camera, but of course you can add the spb shell to the start menü and switch fast.
I have installed spb ms 3 in my xperia and I can say,is really nice,I love it, touch flows and other iphone similars you can´t compare with this,is the best!!!

SPB mb 3 is aviable in handango.com I´m allready buy them for my xperia,is amazing!!!!
Great stuff
I'm using version 3 for a week now and I love it!
I think it's the best Shell for Windows Mobile, don't you?
What if Microsoft let SPB write the entire winMo UI?
You know, things like the settings dialogs, the annoying messageboxes, that kind of stuff.
This way we can all enjoy a finger friendly UI and also - great performance.
(this is why I think it's better than the TouchFlo by the way)
some one please create a megaupload link
please can´t download to slow .... error
many thanks

Oh sorry... I've already flashed my Jade with a lite ROM... No more TF2D!
Anyway, SPB MS3 is officially out! Check out SPB's website...
Love SPB Mobile Shell 3
I have installed it on my HTC Touch Pro and I LOVE IT!!! I was able to get it for free since I had just purchased the last version less than 90 days ago and I actually prefer it over TF3D and I am definitely loving the Lifestyle layouts and the way you can slide between the 3 panels. So to me it is a keeper. I think they did an execellent job
The trial is working great for me. I already had version 2, but it had bugs on my Jade so I didn't use it. I will test 3 for a couple of days and assuming it doesn't do anything silly I will definitely be buying it, it blows Touchflo out of the water.

Hi all.
Just letting everyone know (maybe you already know) that there is a 20 page + thread in Development & Hacking on Spb Mobile Shell 3.0:
xda-developers > General discussion > Development and Hacking
SPB Mobile Shell 3.0 - The Features....
I suggest where possible we try and share experiences on the one thread so that all valuable feedback can be found in the same location?
Mattster.
Little update:
I found downloaded and installed 3.0.0 Build 6411 and it works like a charm.
ya, my jade runs smooth on Build 6411 too...

[Q] Samsung Epix "Today Plus"

Hey,
I had a Samsung Epix before my Tilt2, still have it. Love its simplicity and speed...still blowing away the touch pro 2 in those areas.
Anyways, I was wondering if anyone knows how to get the today Plug in "Today Plus" so I can use it on my TouchPro2/Tilt2?
It can be Seen here: http://pocketnow.com/review/att-samsung-epix-sgh-i907?p=3
This is Not Samsung Today...which is different...I found a thread on here about it already...or the omnia Today Pluggin...
Any Help would be Appreciated.
Thank you!
Anyone have a clue about this?
Ummm.. that looks like WM 2003 on there.. if that is the case, you would need to find a WM 2003 chef to make a rom for it.. but I don;t think it owudl be worth it... if you want speed, just get a "lite" rom, and don;t use the TF3d.. that will speed it up
