i have inesoft and i dont want to remove it want program to change this dialer screen

Purchase AEButton Plus. It allows you to change call button. All you have to do is use the program to make an .exe correspond to that button.
I pay for alot of softwares, but I know that there are freeware applications on XDA too. I think there are developer software for this in which it is totally free. Search for it......
Also, when I use Inesoft, the call button brings me to Inesoft phone menu...so I don't know what you are doing wrong, try changing inesoft settings too.

edit..........................

http://www.iconsoft.com/

but i have inesoft dont want to remove it
is there anythiong else ?

OMG Pay attention will you?
Go buy AEBplus and use that program to change the function of your call key. How hard is that?
If you can't understand this than by god, I hope you understand this...try these steps:
1) Open your windows mobile registry editor (you can use Resco Explorer or SKTools for this but they cost money, please for ask others for free alternatives)
2) Browse into this directory within the registry: HKCR\\callto\DefaultIcon\Default\
Browse into this directory within the registry: HKCR\\callto\Shell\Open\Command\Default\
Browse into this directory within the registry: HKCR\\dtmf\DefaultIcon\Default\
Browse into this directory within the registry: HKCR\\dtmf\Shell\Open\Command\Default\
Browse into this directory within the registry: HKCU\\tel\DefaultIcon\Default\
Browse into this directory within the registry: HKCU\\tel\Shell\Open\Command\Default\
3) Change the cprog.exe into inesoft's exe [obviously I do not know the exact name for inesoft's .exe
4) See if this works
I don't know if this works...it could ***k your registry and freeze your device. So listen to me and go look for a buttom mapper on the forum and fix your problem to map the button to inesoft's exe

Run command built into WM6...did anyone know about this?

Windows Mobile touch screen devices have a “Run” option that lets you start a program by entering its executable file name. For example, if you wanted to use Run to start Internet Explorer Mobile, you would follow these steps:
1. Press and hold down on the center key of your D-pad and then tap and hold on the time display in the upper right corner of the screen. Then release the D-pad button. A small pop-up menu appears displaying two options: Run and Clock.
2. Select the Run option and the Run dialog box appears.
3. Enter the name of Internet Explorer’s executable file (“iexplore.exe”) into the box labeled “Open.”
4. Press the OK button and Internet Explorer should start up.
Thats a good find, Serf. Probably faster for executing some commands than browsing the windows folder.
Wow, this is perfect for running programs with options. I had to download Resco file explorer just to run DMRouter.exe with an option to do the aGPS hack. This will doing it on my friend's phones much faster.
That was a GEM of a find! I can now run the ESPT app whenever I need to look at my profile.... not that I ever need to but that's NICE!
Thanks for posting this! I accidentally did the proper sequence to bring up the run box once, and didn't remember how I actually did it... was never able to replicate it.
Awesome! Did you figure this out by accident?

Does finding the right answer through Google count as an accident?
I needed to bring up DMRouter.exe and didn't want to install a new proggy, glad it helped more than just me.
learned something new for the day. I met my quota.
BUMP
bump...
Some people were asking me how to do this.
Windows Mobile Classic and Professional can 'Run Dialog';
!!! The ‘Action’ key is usually the center of the D-Pad or CTRL if you are using the former SIP emulator;

!!! As an additional tip, did you know that if you tap and hold without the ‘Action’ key being pressed, a different popup menu will appear? This one allowing you to select between an analogue ~ and digital clock being displayed on the navbar!

how to start a single panel from desktop shortcut

i've searched in the programs directory the executable file of a single panel, for example 3d-fish panel, but in the directory i've founded only .dll without .exe...
what's the method to start a panel from a shortcut? what command i must launch?
tnx
nothing?
i must put an argumentto panelManager.exe?
I don't actually think that's possible, as panels are run from within an application (exe). They're not supposed to be used seperately. It's like trying to watch a movie in notepad, just not designed to work there.
Unless someone feels like making it, ofcourse.
for example, XperiaTweak can launch a panel from our choice automatically, then i suppose it use a command but what command?? i don't find it!!

I believe that XperiaTweak uses it own extra software to launch the panel of choice.
Yeah the Xperia Tweak probably sets a command to press the X-Panel button, and then it tells the X-Panel software which panel to chose.

I think so too, as Xperiatweak also shows the LED lights that are associated with pressing the panel button.
However you simply want to run the application right ? Then ask Pubba ! He made EXEs which wrap media and radio panels. It should be easy with any other panel. Maybe even generic panel launcher could be made.
His EXEs are posted here (look for 'Pubba'):

[REQ][APP][WM6.5]Titanium/CHome Plugn Re-Namer

I would like to request an app to rename the names of the plugins on the CHome/Titanium Home Screen. My wife's got WM6.5 on her AT&T Tilt but the fact that some of the plugins are lower case and some are upper case is starting to drive her crazy and in return, she's making me crazy because I can't figure out the CPR files.
Here's a screenshot of her Home Screen so you can see exactly what I am talking about:

"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
As you cal clealy see, some are capitalized and some are not. I would like to see an app that would allow you to change the names of the plugins, including the ability to just capitalize them if desired.
dito
cause i like the name troybook better , bump
I 2nd this post Dharv!! I thought I was the only who didnt like the upper and lower case of the plugins!!!

Have you try out CHome editor by Showaco?
Or you can use total commander (or any other reg. editor). To change Favorite People, go into HKLM/Software/Microsoft/cHome/ATFavePeople/CondensedPage/PluginLabel
And for Facebook, HKLM/Software/Microsoft/cHome/Facebook/CondensedPage/PluginLabel. And do a soft reset when done.
Hope that helps.

I tried setting the 2 capitalized plugins(Facebook and Favorite People) to lowercase through the registry using Resco Registry and it DID work but she still wants everything to be uppercase. She's kinda anal and since we've been together for so long, she's developed a specific taste for how her phone operates just like I have.
I'd be happy if someone could just help me set them to be all uppercase. It doesn't neccessarily have to be an app. I just thought that an app would benefit everyone and not just me so that's why I asked for an app.
You can change some of them with Showaco's Chome Editor. When you start the program go to Menu/Manual Edit Item Values, then click on the plugin you want to edit, then find the item that says pluginlabel. Some you can't change with this program though.
Instructions for editing the CPR files a few threads down...

Can you change the default Google search on the TF3D internet tab?

Anyone know how to change the default Google search on the TF3D internet tab from google.com/m to google.co.uk/m or google.co.uk? Is this a registry editor tweak as I can't find where to change it in the opera:config tweak?
Thanks.

This is not a registry setting, but set in the default htm-file loaded by Opera upon start: \windows\htc-opera.htm
Edit the file to the URL you want to have the search done:
[line 46]:
<form action="http://www.google.com/search?q=" method="get">
to e.g:
<form action="http://www.google.co.uk/search?q=" method="get">
ATT: the file is write protected, so you'll have to remove this before editing.
MeCry
Umm, its a registry edit for me.
HKCU/Software/HTC/Manila
dword=InternetSearchUrl
to get it to what you want, put in the url you want in your PC browser, search for something, & then get copy whatever url it has. For instance, I have mine set the cab i made to go to "http://www.google.com/m/search?q=". that way it just adds whatever you search for on to the end of that string & inputs it to Opera.

Yes perfect!
I've been looking through the registry and the .hmt files for days.
Now finally the O2 start page is gone!
THX!
On the Verizon Touch Pro 2 you will need to use the registry editor of your choice and go to registry key:
HKCU/Software/HTC/Manila
dword=InternetSearchUrl
"The registry is in the \\Plugins folder at the top of the root directory" Just hit the \ button at the top right of Total Commander til you see the directory then click on the directory and then the Registry directory in it.
Replace the bing.com in this key:
www.bing.com/search?q=%s
with the search engine of your choice.
For the mobile formatted Google it would look like this:
http://www.google.com/m/search?q%s
For the desktop formatted Google it would be:
http://www.google.com/search?q%s
Mobile Google looks much cleaner and it is the one I suggest. This should work for pretty much any search engine though, for the two people still using Yahoo and Ask.
Do not forget the %s at the end. It is needed on this phone or it will only bring up the search engine without the search.
This will change the search from within the Touchflo search box and the search box in the stock built in Opera Browser. I did not try Internet Explorer or any other browsers but suspect they would require a different registry key to be changed.

Start Menu Shortcut for Individual Contact

Hello,
Is there a parameter to pass ":MSCONTACTS" to go directly to an individual contact? I'm interested in adding start menu shortcuts for some of my favorite contacts. Thanks in advance...
As far as I know there's no direct way to launch a contact. However I'm currently working on a new version of Taskbar launcher which allows to launch contacts directly. I also can easily add a command line parameter so you can launch your contacts through a link....
When you use WM 6.5's "search" program, you can parse through and launch contacts individually, so I'm sure there's a way to do it. I just don't know how it does what it does....
You can connect to POutlook, parse through contacts and call the Show() function and you see the original contact dialog. At least that's how I do it in my app and let me guess: search function is doing just the same. I don't think you can do this through a simple :MSCONTACTS command line parameter....
this might help

Create a direct link for a certain telephone nr/sms/mms/email/more..
In a way it's easy. Start reading a thread I created specific for it
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=623195
In short, start a text editor (no unicode) like notepad and type ;
39#"\Windows\cprog.exe"-url tel:0123456789
where 0123456789 = any telephone number.
Make sure you press the ENTER key after your phone nr. and before saving the file!
Give it a name. Rename the file from YourContactName.txt to YourContactName.LNK (capitals are not nessecary, it's just for clarity).Another example;
Direct SMS (I called it SMS2.lnk);
51#"\Windows\tmail.exe" -service "SMS" -to "" -body ""
I've been amazed too...! Once. Now I have MortScripts with icons

I wonder, if this could work with 6.5.x..
@Senax
With your approach you can directly call a hard coded number or send message, right!? With the method I'm using however you can directly open the contact page for a particular person, see the contact picture and choose whether you want to make a call, write message or email etc.
I mean this one:
{
"lightbox_close": "Close",
"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",
"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",
"lightbox_start_slideshow": "Start slideshow",

"lightbox_full_screen": "Full screen",
"lightbox_thumbnails": "Thumbnails",
"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
go2contact is what you want. It's a really cool, tiny, super fast cmd app.
I added a dynamic contact shortcuts page to my HS++ theme (I can manage them on-the-fly in the Today screen) by means of Mortscripts that use go2contact and ContactRetriever (this last conponent is C# which makes this process slower... but it seems like Cyclone is learning C++ so there may be a faster version ).
