hanging on boot with distortion in screen - P3600 General

hi guys i have 2 HTC 3600 devices and both is working only if i twist them to the left and if i they boot and works on today screen , and leave it ,,,the screen hangs ...
can you pls find solution for me ,?
i don t want loose 2 PPC ,,,
i don t know why both has same problem ,,, are these edition of HTC is not good quality\
pls help
i used many ROM ..even the Original form HTC ,, but i have the same result

The problem is the flex cable connection of the display or keypad to the motherboard.
Check if the display flexcable is well aligned and properly inserted into the motherboard slot.
Place a piece of paper or other soft material on the two connectors (display/ keypad) to improve the pressure from the back cover in these components.

touch screen problem

hello i have a problem with the touch screen...sometimes the touch didn't function corretly and seems to be disalligned.i've alredy tried to fix the problem with a hw reset and with the allignment option but nothing happend.anyone know how to fix the problem?
sorry for my bad english....
Try using the touchscreen again while pinching/squeezing the back and front of the phone together on the left hand side of the phone. Does it work as normal doing this?
yes it's work but i must doing a very high pression and when i relese the touch screen didn't function.
Same happened to my Prophet, all of a sudden the touchscreen failed.
IF ITS STILL UNDER WARRANTY SEND IT BACK FOR REPAIRS OR REPLACEMENT. Otherwise try cut an old credit card in half and place one half between the battery and back cover of the phone. This will preform the same function as if you were squeezing the phone like you did before (except hands free).
Dust
Look for small pieces of dust between the digitizer and the chassis, this can disalign the screen too.

White Screen Of Death

Is there any solution for white screen in HTC magician, I am facing this problem since last 10 months, have not found any solutions and not using the device any more. I had upgrade with cotulla's ROM. I see only lines with complete white screen.
Thanx
can you give a screenshot.may be you'll need to replace the screen
No Display
I don't see any display so cannot send screenshots

well i had same problem, white screen suddenly appear, prone is responding (i can call and receive calls) but the screen remains white until reboot/restart
well i solved it by replacing lcd connector. maybe your connector is not damaged, maybe its dusty or wet or something... you may consider opening and cleaning Magician from inside and see what happens
you have a two guides on how to dismantle magician hire in the wiki

[Q] New screen not working after replacement

Hi all,
I had a touchscreen issue (sometimes not working) in my HD2 so I ordered a new fabric screen+lcd assemby. I replaced it very carefully but now when I plug new lcd it is not working. Phone is working, buttons, vibration, hear the sound when turning on but there is only backlight on display and just shows black screen. I am sure that display is ok because I tried to put old one (wich was still working before replacement) and it has same issue (backlight works but display is black). Can you give me some ideas what is wrong ????
damaged lcd ribbon connector on mainboard or ribbon not being inserted fully or latched securely
Ty booting to bootloader ...
Help
The flex cable is not attached correctly or the main board is broken and before you close your phone try it. If you can't do this give someone your phone and he will recover for you.
The problem is sloved. I dissasambled all phone and fix it once again and now it works. Anyway I got another problem of white screen on my second device. Did anybody find a solution for white screen ever????

probably need new screen assembly!
needs opening to check lcd connector to mainboard & if all connections good then new screen should be tried.
LCD & digitizer pre built assembly is only about $30 these days for decent ones but indeed not easy fit with some experience or good read up on procedure & good care when doing it.

How can i open my phone? And where is connector located?
Do you have a link to view that?
Have a read of this thread for start

Plenty more if do a search
Basically be very very careful, use plastic pry tool ONLY to remove back, start at top. 2 clips about 7mm in from top edges then once released work down right side, DO NOT stick any tools in near the volume key, if doing it right the back comes of very easy (2 pry tools are better as can keep one in top sstopping it clipping back in)
Once back off handle with care, rough handling breaks th spring contacts for antenna etc.
LCD from mainboad can be disconnected from mainboard without fully removing flex & is absolute best way do it.
I did write few posts on it so will try dig them up & link you.
If buy lcd/gigi assemble also buy a button board ribbon as they like only $3USD, with spare button ribbon you can easily plug new lcd/digi in & plug new button board ribbon into mainboard & hold a battery on it to do a test befoe sticking things together.
Also you likely damage ribbon if not careful so spare likely get used on rebuild.
Parts link is in HD2 Wiki
