HTC heeft de hoeveelheid rom en ram in de Amerikaanse versie van de HD2 flink verhoogd. De variant voor T-Mobile krijgt 1GB intern opslaggeheugen en 576MB werkgeheugen, tegenover 512MB en 448MB voor de Europese versie van het toestel.

Niet alleen het interne geheugen, ook het meegeleverde externe geheugen heeft een upgrade gekregen voor de Amerikaanse versie. Waar Europese kopers een geheugenkaartje van 2GB in de doos vonden, zullen Amerikaanse kopers een 16GB-kaartje aantreffen in de verpakking, zo staat in de specificatielijst.
Wat de reden is voor de opgewaarde specs is onbekend, maar er gaan geruchten dat de HD2 het enige beschikbare toestel zal zijn dat in het najaar een upgrade kan krijgen naar het nieuwe OS Windows Mobile 7. Het is onbekend wat de vereisten zijn voor een toestel om de nieuwe WM-versie te draaien: wellicht is een minimum van 512MB werkgeheugen of 1GB aan rom vereist voor het OS en wil T-Mobile dat klanten het toestel van een update naar WM7 kunnen voorzien.
Het toestel, dat vanaf dit voorjaar verkocht gaat worden via de Amerikaanse tak van T-Mobile, heeft voor het overige als verschil dat hij een tikkeltje langer is: waar de originele HD2 120mm lang is, is die voor T-Mobile 122mm lang. Een laatste opvallend detail is dat op het homescreen op de afbeelding een kalenderitem staat met de naam 'Leo/Blackbird marketing'. Leo was de codenaam van HTC voor de HD2. Waar Blackbird voor staat is onbekend.

Do you realy want to read that the HD2 from T-Mobile in the US should get much more RAM and flash Memory (and is fullfilling than the spec for WM7) than the device we have bought allready?

yes,after u messing around with ur phone then decide to go back to stock rom..u can always used pc companion to get back ur out-of-the-box rom
Edit:and i strongly recommend u to make a backup before start messing around with ur phone

I have:
root,busybox,xRecovery+backup done.
Last thing which I want is custom ROM. But how and which?
Example CM7 v006. I found in pack update.zip + other files like BASEBAND or livewallpapers.... I only have to open xRec. And install update.zip from SD?
Or... Thx for help...

najprv pozri nastavenie->informacie o telefone->verzia zakladneho pasma, ak nekonci na 15, tak otvor priecinok beseband, spusti x10flashtool.exe, klikni na flash a potom na to, kde je v Branding napisane Baseband_15 a postupuj podla obrazovky
ak si uz predtym mal na konci 15 alebo si to uz spravil ako som to napisal vyssie, daj update.zip na kartu a v xrecovery daj install update.zip from sd card, pockaj rebootni a malo by to byt ale nezabudni predtym ako nainstalujes update.zip spravit zalohu !!!

[Q] Quick access to the camera app via lockscreen??

I know it can be done.. I've seen many SGS5's around with the option to have the quick launch camera shortcut added to the lockscreen..
But for the life of me.. I have looked under every setting and option in my phone.. and have followed steps in videos
that show how to enable the option.. But I can't find it anywhere on my phone.. I don't even have the option under my settings to enable it??
Help.. I just went from an iphone 5s to my new SGS5.
and the iphone allowed me to open the camera up without having to fully unlock the phone from the lock screen..
why can't I do this on the SGS5?
I am an Australian user.. who has the latest SGS 5, SM-G900I that is locked to Optus (network).

Thanks.. But NO! (Sorry.. I don't mean to sound rude, it's just frustrating to see that others have that option but I don't)
As I already stated.. I do not have that option there at all..
i've looked under that exact location.. and simply DO NOT have that one option to tick to enable the camera shortcut in my settings.
I've tried changing my lock screen so that even if I am not using fingerprint and just want to swipe...
that option is still not there at all

What country you in? Here in Australia this option doesn't appear due to an Apple V Samsung lawsuit ruling.

I'm Australian man.. Are you fecking kidding me?? because of a stupid lawsuit issue, samsung can't provide this basic service that apple can.

Camera shortcut on lockscreen!
And I have do it againt. Old method, same result:
Rename in "system / csc /" the "Customer.xml" to "customer.xml.backup".
(works only with "root" and the easiest with a file explorer)
Restart and you can activate it!
Do not worry, the Customer.xml is recreated by the system.
Und ich habs mal wieder geschaft. Alte Methode, gleiches Ergebnis:
In "system/csc/" die "customer.xml" in "customer.xml.backup" umbenennen.
(geht nur mit "root" und am einfachsten mit einem Datei-Explorer)
Neu starten und schon isser da!
Keine Angst, die Customer.xml wird vom System neu angelegt.

flashbare zip machen ? | how can i make a flashable zip that it as system app is?

Hi, ich würde gerne eine Flashbare zip machen wo ich system dateien hinzufügen kann, also sogesagt das es dann eine System app ist.
Ich habe es schon gemacht, z.b den Kindermodus und den Blaufilter geflasht als apk in einer zip datei ,war auch erfolgreich zu flashen, aber er hat es nicht installiert.
Weiß jemand warum oder habe ich etwas falsch gemacht?

Well, where did you place your apks? /System/app/ ? It should work if you did so.. You can use a file manager, too, to copy files to correct destination and set the correct permissions. This is important, too.
You should look deeper into your script file, maybe. The permissions are the problem, I guess.. or share the script file to us or pm me, German preferred.

Bricked xy auto headunit

Hi i have xy auto with board yt9260 v1.2 labelled 9218dhj with dsp i accidentally flashed wrong firmware by usb wich cause bootloob and it hangs on android logo when i connect usb to computer nothing happen only after a few monutes it gives un recognised but i managed to enter meta mode by testing point the problem is when i try to flash pre loader it gives error 3043 or 5054 and i don't have backup or stock rom so i need a solution or a working preloader for my unit
