I know it can be done.. I've seen many SGS5's around with the option to have the quick launch camera shortcut added to the lockscreen..
But for the life of me.. I have looked under every setting and option in my phone.. and have followed steps in videos
that show how to enable the option.. But I can't find it anywhere on my phone.. I don't even have the option under my settings to enable it??
Help.. I just went from an iphone 5s to my new SGS5.
and the iphone allowed me to open the camera up without having to fully unlock the phone from the lock screen..
why can't I do this on the SGS5?
I am an Australian user.. who has the latest SGS 5, SM-G900I that is locked to Optus (network).

Thanks.. But NO! (Sorry.. I don't mean to sound rude, it's just frustrating to see that others have that option but I don't)
As I already stated.. I do not have that option there at all..
i've looked under that exact location.. and simply DO NOT have that one option to tick to enable the camera shortcut in my settings.
I've tried changing my lock screen so that even if I am not using fingerprint and just want to swipe...
that option is still not there at all

What country you in? Here in Australia this option doesn't appear due to an Apple V Samsung lawsuit ruling.

I'm Australian man.. Are you fecking kidding me?? because of a stupid lawsuit issue, samsung can't provide this basic service that apple can.
Camera shortcut on lockscreen!
And I have do it againt. Old method, same result:
Rename in "system / csc /" the "Customer.xml" to "customer.xml.backup".
(works only with "root" and the easiest with a file explorer)
Restart and you can activate it!
Do not worry, the Customer.xml is recreated by the system.
Und ich habs mal wieder geschaft. Alte Methode, gleiches Ergebnis:
In "system/csc/" die "customer.xml" in "customer.xml.backup" umbenennen.
(geht nur mit "root" und am einfachsten mit einem Datei-Explorer)
Neu starten und schon isser da!
Keine Angst, die Customer.xml wird vom System neu angelegt.

I would love to try it but its not installing.
i would love to be able to restrict usage of my phone.. for example a simple swipe unlock will login using a guest user with limited access to photos, SMS, installing apps etc. while a pin/pattern unlock will login using a full access user (device owner) for full functionality.. is this possible using this mod ?
Installed with framework installer via CWM but any modification with ART and Dalvik. Only update of applications at boot :/
tried the "enable multiple user" app from the play store, i could get another account set-up but i could not return to my original account.

I would like to move my subway surfers progression from my S4 to my new Note 4. I didn't have to pay anything to restore my apps using Helium. Just make sure the data is on the internal storage of the phone.
I used the free Helium to save my Apps and Data from Note 3 and restored successfully on Note 4

Could you explain this in more detail? I tried to restore from my old RAZR to my Note 4, but I couldn't figure it out. I saved to the internal storage, but I couldn't find the files.

the title describes the issue
the first time it happend was after the first flash of a custom rom. I tried serveral Basebands and Modems but nothing helps. Yesterday is flashed 5.02 with kdz. But the issue is not solved.
Is there any solution out there ?

Maybe bad sensor.? or if you had this phone was it refurbished?
It was replaced by telekom after my first d802 has broken microphone... But if it was refurbished? I dont know... With the deliverd android version everything worked

but when refurbished and worng rom flashed , you get touch screen problem. not sure about the rotation sensors.?

Hmm the article is about bricked Phones after installing recovery or rom but i changed the rom very often and no brick or touch screen issue appears. The only issue in every rom is the rotation.

I can't set as default keyboard, keeps asking me to accept the terms but the button is frozen. Rather annoying.
