WWW thru bluetooth
Yes, Bond your XDA to the PC and connect via activesync. Once connected, open the internet browser on the XDA and you can surf the net.
How bout without using activesync, cuz i want to connect to internet via bluetooth secretly without knowing the person using the pc.
ms bluetooth stack dont support it
read here for info about how you can do it

Network via bluetooth
Hi,
I am also trying the same thing. (Connecting without activesync)
Maybe you have to set up a network on bluetooth.
I would also like to print thru blutooth on the XDA2, so it uses the PC's printer on the network.
I am sure it can be done... not sure how
I am using XDAII Mini (i-Mate Jam) and trying to figure out how to browse the internet using my Apple Powerbook's active Wi-Fi connection.
The only way I can communicate with my Powerbook is using bluetooth. But as you know, the XDAII Mini's bluetooth software does not allow you to activesync with bluetooth nor allows you to create a network connection with bluetooth. And the later function is very necessary to successfully connect to my Powerbook.
In the new PDAs using Pocket PC 2003 you can find a very good bluetooth software (originally iincluded) which allows you to do the above.
I'm still trying to solve this problem and need any inputs.
Thank you in advance.
Cheers.
Hello,
With ActiveSync, it does let you to connect and synchronze and get an internet connection. Unfortunately that depends from the software you're using the sync.
Usually we have an icon where you can specify if to enable 'Pass-Thru' when the PDA is connected to 'Work' or 'Internet'

Eman

Hello,
I have currently 2 HTC WM6 mobile phones with bluetooth and HSDPA possibilities (NO WIFI possebility!). One HTC mobile phone has a internet connection and i want to share this connection for the other HTC mobile phone (so that i can use 2 phones at the same connection).
Normaly you can setup a internetconnection and connect a Laptop with the INTERNET SHARING option in the HTC Phone. This solution works well with a bluetooth dongle and a laptop, but when i use a normal HTC phone i can't connect to the other HTC phone with bluetooth (PAN) and share this connection.
Is there an application so that i can use 2 HTC phones at the same internetconnection with the Bluetooth solution?
I have two WM phones - One smartphone (benq e72) and HTC himalaya (pocket). As all there knows, himalaya does not have Wifi. But e72 has. So I want to share wifi connection from e72 to my himalaya with bluetooth.
It should look like - I connect to any access with my E72 and I can use that connection at my himalaya.
It is possible? If yes - How?
Check WMWifiRouter. It should do the trick ...

Or, if it doesn't, check ICS Control : http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=377047
It should allow you to route BT PAN to WiFi interface ...
