Not sure what you meant, but your thread title did say "j.f 1.5 adp original font"
In any case, the font files in the JF updater are identical to the ones in the original updaters. JF doesn't modify them in any way.

Could someone explain to me how to do this? Right now I'm running the max manilla 2.5 rom. It's the first rom I've ever flashed and I haven't done much to my phone after that. I'd like to try out the dusk evo 2.5 theme but there are no instructions on how to install or how to change to it once you do have it. So if anyone has any insight on how this is done, please help me out.

There are two "kinds" of themes.
- In the WM Settings / Home menu, you can select from traditional themes for your devices. These themes change the background colors, taskbar colors, etc.
- Many people have made custom packages that change more than just the basics - they also add new icons, and often completely take over the device. I believe the evo is one of these. There are instructions on each thread as to how to install, but most of them are simply one or more '.cab' files that you copy to your device and then install.
Or you can burn in a ROM that has the theme cooked in. There is an EVO ROM, I believe.
So I can't use the dusk them with my current rom?

It depends on your current ROM. I believe Dusk requires Sense 2.5.
I tried dusk on my Stock WM 6.5 (sense 2.1) and it did not work, as I recall. It is far better to burn a ROM; that way you know it will work.
But go head and try, you can always recover with a hard reset. Go to the Dusk thread and read how to install it there.
Yes, the ROM I'm using now does have sense 2.5. I'm a little confused about the word EVO in the title.

If you mean the ROM Forum, I think EVO is the name of the ROM, which uses the Dusk theme.
[EDIT:] Could a mod move this to the Themes/Apps forum? Thanks
Hi, so I just rooted my 2.1v3 leak eris and have been looking at themes. I downloaded Metamorph from the market to try and apply my themes. However, Metamorph has not been able to find a Theme Control File in either of them.. I was wondering if people have this problem as well?
These are the themes I've been trying:

My rom is Aloysius 2.0 v12
Thanks for the help! I'm still new to the rooting scene, though I've tried all the roms I can get my hands on!

MM uses 2 diff types of files. THM, which is the old way and many people still use this, and XML, which is the new way and better way. You can always convert the THM to XML, but will require you to rezip the file. There is a converter in the Hero section by the creator. Cant rem link. Not home, but just search it and you shall find.
Thanks, I was able to install the zip from my sd card in clockwork mod recovery
can anyone upload this for us? even if it the 1.6 version.apk/file.
I know it worked on 2.1, I thought it worked on stock 2.2
I am on DJ_Steve's v1.5.2
Thanks for the help.
found solution @ MoDaCo,
extract EMList from stock 2.2 .pkg, drop in /system/app and reboot
change build.ship to =0 if needed and if *#307#*#* doesnt work
use launcher pro or ADW and try creating a shortcut to .EMList
Is it true that the 1.6 EMlist has Qualcomm settings?? The version in 2.2 doesn't have any such settings for the CPU...

Hey ChrisRotolo, how to extract EMList from .PKG?
Im not sure, I think Fards had dumped a .pkg file, but I dont know of any ways and I dont think its easy. Best Bet is to grab an old update.zip and extract that.
I think I used 1.6 .zip or DJSteve v1.2 .zip
not only do you need EMList.apk
but all the other corresponding Engineering .apks
Basically EMList is only the list of all the engineering tests
Theres more than a dozen of them that you have to add to /system/app and install
(if you want to use them, otherwise you will likely get force closes)
A lot of cool data in there though.
Thanks for the reply ChrisRotolo.
Is there anyways to find all the dependencies?
May be you can list them, since you already have tried it?
Please?
Thank you!
This is exactly the rom I need(unless there is some major problem that I need to be made aware of...). If anyone has this, could they please share?
Thank you oh so very much in advance!

Liberated Eclair 2.1 is up to version R012. That's the one you should use.
I hate to be picky, but I tried R012 and it had more changes than I was looking for.
Stability and features that help provide 2.1 Eclair some flexibility is a bad thing? :S

OK, so Liberated Eclair R003 was based on the original AT&T ROM, so why don't you just start with that and pull out all of the apps you don't want. You can get find the that ROM here:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=783508
You can simply unzip the ROM file, remove the *.apk files you don't want and then zip it back up and flash with ClockworkMod.

I've already stripped the apps that I don't want. I am more interested in busybox, droidwall, and infrastructure mode in wireless tether.
First off, all credits to adi4motion for the wonderful theme - http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=11336219&postcount=1
Made a few changes to the original theme to work on Nessy 2.2.2 ROM.
Should work on any deodexed 2.2.2 ROM's.
gingerbread_nessy3.zip
Should that give you any problems, try the version by ungaze.

thanks I'll give it a try and let you know..
While it works, I did not see any changes to adi4motion's work.
Would be great if you could list the changes you made.

Original theme does work on 2.2.2 but reboots the phone when volume keys are pressed in landscape mode. I did not change any of the theme elements.
Replaced services.jar from 2.2.2 after changing the clock color to black
Changed the reboot and recovery functions to work with 2.2.2
As stated, all credits to adi4motion for the theme.
It doesn't work for me.... it keeps rebooting like the first version.... I'm running Hypnos#2.... only thing changed is a2sd enabled but I don't think it could be the problem...
Works great here, nessy hypnos2, thanks abhinandh
adi4motion's gingerbread theme only works flawlessly for android version 2.2. 2.2.1 and 2.2.2 need a different framework and things like that to work without crashing(specially the dreaded volume down bug). I can share my version of it if TS would allow(as posting the link immediately would be like hi-jacking this thread IMO, I can't test TS's link as I am still running a 2.2 based rom ATM.).

Sure, here you go:
GB theme for 2.2.1 & 2.2.2
This is a hackish attempt to make the GB theme + power menu work for 2.2.1 and 2.2.2 ROMs. I could probably fix the inverted reboot and shut down power buttons, but that would probably need to wait(for free time).
PS. please use the original link provided when redistributing. Thanks.
@ungaze I can see that you have used 2.2.2's framework to create the theme.
But I have been running adimotion's GB theme on Dookmatt's hypnos (2.2.2) and it works fine. The power menu works well (shutdown, reboot, recovery).
The phone does not crash with vol down keys.
A more specific changelog would be very helpful.
@socialdistortion
Right now, I really don't know why the volume bug appears but at the time we(few 2.2.2/2.2.1 ROM devs) were trying to port themes to 2.2.1/2.2.2(about same time dookmatt released the very first nessy ROM), no one had any idea why we were having the strange volume bug. But through research and testing, we filtered it out and came down to the themes from 2.2, which are incompatible with later android versions. Now by that time, the only ROM out there based on 2.2.2 which has compatible themes was LOL 1.4(since LOL has a large user base through it's Italian site). What I did was took the LOL framework, edited it(merged with adi4motion's) so that it would look like gingerbread and packed it up again as a flashable zip. The result is the above mentioned theme.(and that's why I call it a "hackish attempt")
Now, a lot of people are having problems with a 2.2 theme running on newer android versions but you(and a few guys running hypnos#2) on the other-hand are not having any problems with it. I think the more appropriate question is, "how did you guys make it work?".
I'm really puzzled man. Cooked a few 2.2.2 and 2.2.1 ROMs, tried dookmatt's, tried LOL 1.4, tried kptbotbot's light ROM and each one of them presented errors when flashed with adi4motion's GB theme(all with fresh installed ROM). I hope someone with greater knowledge can enlighten us on this cause I have to say it, I'm out of ideas on this one.

I've not really done anything unusual. Did the usual wipe (everything) and then installed the ROM. Restart. And the install the theme. Everything works.
The only bug is the volume buttons don't interchange on landscape mode but i think it is 2.2.2 bug and not a theme problem.
Maybe the problem has got to do something with wipe. Some AmonRa versions don't wipe correctly and that maybe the problem. I use AmonRa v2.2.1
Try wiping the system with this http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=11785758&postcount=557
Also I don't have a2sd enabled... if that helps.

I'm pretty sure as to why the volume bug appears. Framework form the adi4motion original theme works perfect even with 2.2.2 but the problem is with services.jar file. Code in services.jar changed between 2.2 -> 2.2.2 and that causes input dispatcher to call a non-existing method leading to a fatal exception when volume keys are pressed in landscape mode.
Take a look at this logcat OP i captured when the volume keys are pressed - https://gist.github.com/966084 (line 4)
What i did in my theme was to replace services.jar with the original one in nessy (After changing the clock color in notification bar to white) and everyting worked perfect.
Hope this helps.
Sorry, double post.

Something interesting:
I installed it last week, everything went fine, worked great. In the meantime I had to restore because of some kernel errors and I wanted to reinstall it today. So I flashed it and when I started my phone I got FCs from all the apps and a nice bootloop. Tried to restart it but still nothing. So restore again...
I'm using openOptimus 1.148 & CWM recovery.
