Did you wipe the phone before flashing? Usually switching between 2 different builds (e.g. JF -> Dude) as opposed to upgrading to a new version of the same build (e.g. Dude 1.0 -> Dude 1.1a) can cause all kinds of issues. I'd suggest putting Dude's rom on the SD card again, booting into the recovery mode, doing Alt+W and then Alt+S to re-flash again. You will lose all customization and data, so back up what you want to keep first.

mytouch 3g 1.2 need help with kernel please

well i was trying to load yoshi ginger on my mytouch 3g 1.2 and i flashed the kernel it said i needed . but when the rom loaded up for the first time, it wouldn't detect my wifi so i could go thru google setup. and I don't have a data plan. so i tried to take yoshi off and try cyanogen 6.1 rc 1, and now my phone gets stuck on the cyanogen screen. tried wiping and reflashing and re wiping and i dunno. and the worst part is it completely wiped everything off my SIM card. my sim wont even work in any other phone now i dunno wtf happened. any ideas? can anyone please help me out. stuck in a real ****ty spot right now and any help is greatly appreciated! thanks!
can anyone point me in the direction of how to get my kernel back to the original?
Wipe boot and your kernel will be gone... you said you wiped and flashed a new rom so your kernel was replaced wit the cm one. Maybe you should try cm6.1 stable
i'm using the clockwork recovery and I've tried data wipe, dashkiv wipe, and then install cm 6.1 stable and it kept getting stuck at the cyanogen boot screen. now the phone is getting stuck at a black screen after the green mytouch screen, or its powering off, not sure which. any ideas about why my sim was destroyed? all numbers on it have been erased and i put it in another fone and it wont even let me make a call. and it's a gophone sim card, i don't have a contract, so i dont think i can take it to at&t to get them to replace it.

Never heard of anyone killing a sim... nothing related to rom flashing touches it. You'll probably need to get it replaced somehow.
Also can you get any other roms to boot?
well, in clockwork i did wipe data/factory reset, wipe cache, and wipe delvkim cache, and loaded cyanogen 5.0.8 DS , and it loaded up good. but it's the ROM i was originally using before I tried to put yoshi and cyanogen 6.01 RC and stable. none of them would ever work right, they would freeze up somewhere. i got yoshi loaded but when it did the google setup at the first boot up, it wouldn't let me use wi-fi to register and I don't have a data plan. cyanogen 5.08 lets me use my wifi so i was able to recover and re-sync the phone with google and i put the sim card back in the phone after that, and rebooted it, and it works perfect now. it's also exactly how it was before I tried to put a new rom on it find out which one I want to use. but being as this is the only ROM i can get to work properly i guess i'll just be sticking with it.

XBMOD/YUKI-Reboot Freeze

Hi all, I'm using the XBMOD/YUKI for like 3 weeks, and I always have the same problem:
Everything freezes at reboot
I tried to flash on a sd card (good quality.) from 7004 to 7008 and nothing, same problem.
I tried to flash to 7392 without SD card, everything works fine, then I reset, Insert the card, wp7 boot but next reboot--> Freeze.
I tried with every kind of card, The one with only mbr deleted and 24 nand dedicated, the one full formatted, I'm trying to enjoy this rom since 3 weeks, but nothing. Always I got a freeze at reboot.
Can someone help me? Really thanks.
Kind regards, Mark.
Your problem is obviously with the SD cards you've been using. Just keep trying with different cards, preferably Sandisk class 4\6.

HD2 hangs on htc screen from rom on boot

Hi guys sorry if this is in the wrong place, i'm new on here and have read loads of the threads on my problem but so far no luck. Firstly the spec of my phone:
Unbranded HTC HD2
SPL-2.08.HSPL
magldr v1.13
Backed up everything a few days ago and now on trying to use that backup the new kernel I have flashed doesn't agree with the backup and doesn't go any further.
What i'm trying to do is flash JellyBean to the phone as the original stock rom was getting unstable but now i'm beginning to think it may be the hardware thats unstable.
Anyway what i've done is factory reset, wipe cache, partition sd card, 32mb and 512mb I've tried installing the rom and kernel on NAND only, that is fine up until the htc boot screen with the rusty android robot and then hangs and reboots.
I've tried SD card only and that only gets to go go go and then stops.
I've tried NAND and SD card and that gets to rusty robot and hangs and reboots.
My battery is fully charged.
Just incase its of any use the reason why i wanted to update was that the wifi had stopped working and occasionally the phone would hang on the android robot and reboot for no reason, I found removing the SD solved the problem. Thought it may be the same here so i removed the SD card on the NAND attempt but that didn't change a thing.
Help would be much appreciated.
Many thanks
Dan

No SD card or SIM recognition after switching from stock to CM- Help!

Hello. I will go through what I have done thus far to fix this and describe the problem as best I can.
Upon booting up a fresh version of Turbo ROM, after being on TruPure for quite a long time, I booted up to find the SIM card and SD card no longer functional. The menu for cellular networks is greyed out and the sd card is not recognized in the phone booted up, or in recovery. Windows does recognize the SD card and functions as normal.
What I have tried:
Obvious things like reseating, removing, reinstalling. Reinstalling when in recovery, when booted up, everything you can think of.
I downloaded and flashed new modems through using internal storage.
I updated TWRP in case something was going on in recovery.
WIFI still works in terms of getting data
The only thing I haven't tried is backing up the contents of the SD card and reformatting due to being at work. But given this is both the SIM card and SD card, I do not believe this will solve the problem.
Has anyone had this issue or has any advice? I am obviously rooted and unlocked and sending this in for repair probably isn't a great option.
Thank you
Edit: Just wanted to add that this SIM issue first popped up after flashing the Pure Nexus ROM, then Turbo, then back to TruPure. All the same result. But it was fine before I flashed Pure Nexus.
try flash NON-HLOS.bin, hope this will help
So I ended up using the back-to-stock tool and went the nuclear option. This allowed the SIM card and SD card to be recognized. If anyone else seems to have this issue, using that method will get you back up and running at least.
