upgrade ram and radio to last versions

hi all my friends i'm just want to asking you !
whats... RAM , ROM, RADIO SYSTEM AND PROTOKOL functions (with the last versions) ?
where, i can get the sources to upgrade my xdaI ?
now i used O2 xdaI, with spec : - ROM VERSION : 4.00.16 ENG
- RADIO.S VERSION : 3.25.00
- PROTOKOL VERSION : 32S54
with my spesifications ..whats is your suggesting me ?

Hi ...
The RSU you have now is the latest for Qtek ... if it works fine don't upgrade it. For the ROM, there is TMO 4.01.00 but the current EXE file has the RSU part within and actually it starts by RSU upgrade then the ROM.
So, unless you know how to extract the ROM files from this EXE, I would advice you to stick to 4.00.16 or you may try 4.00.21 as well and you can get it from www.yorch.net

It seems you tried an official upgrade file which usually do a version verification. You better try a cooked ROM from www.yorch.net

Which Rom Upgrade Should I USE HELP !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I bought MY QTEK 1010 from Dubai Duty Free Shop and all seems to be working ok in my country Beirut- Lebanon ( With some glitches) My
Rom Version: is 3.14.06 ENG
Rom Date : 10/01/02
Radio Version : T313
Protocol Version : 32S54
I can't seem to find anywhere on the net my rom version nor my Radio Version ( Even when registering on this site ) ..... :? I would like to upgrade the rom to the latest version anyone have a clue from where i should download the roms and which versions ( O2 , ..... ) Lost like hell any help would be grateful

Please I have the same versione of your Qtek 1010 and the same ROM , Radio, etc versions. I cannot make a call. It asks me the SID password. Did you solve your problem? Was it Ok?
Can you explain me waht to do?

For Digithug:
Go to www.yorch.net the kitchen option and cook any ROM you like there.
For Shahram:
seems you have a sim-locked device. Check this link www.xda-developers.com/XDAunlock/. In case it doesn't work, go to the upper link and cook a ROM based on 3.17 and it will unlock ur device with the first boot.

Protocol Version : 4.1.13.9
Ext. Rom Ver : 2.13.9.123

Is there any rom update available for my device?
Also, there is a significant lag when I press click to take photo. Is there any way of improving/fixing this.
I would also like to know how to uninstall programs like Voice dialer and extended rom ?

Help to avoid problems in upgrade
I'm sorry , I know my question could be considered " another question made without a previous search .." but I spent some hours to try to understand without been able to summarize what is really the situation; so , please , take few second to read here:
a)I have a JAMin updated only one time from IMATE official site without any problem
b) actual rom is :
Rom Version: 2.13.9.23 WWE
Rom date : 2/23/06
Radio Version: 1_02.20.21
Protocol Version : 4.1.13.9
Ext. Rom Ver : 2.13.9.123
c) I consider my current configuration as "enough stable" and I use :
calender/contact/ IEexplorer/ilauncher/SBSH weather/pocket stocks/batterystatus(overclock to 286)/tomtom/spb backup/and a lot of other nice applications.
d)I do not want to spend a lot of time recovering critical configurations and/or soft/hard resetting the device many times ; I'm not so expert ( as this question confirm !) to manage rom problems on my device, I have to use also for work and I cannot have problems.
with this description , I would ask to the experts here what they suggest me to do in term of opportunity to upgrade and wich kind of risk could I take.
I'm ready to restart installation of described programs , but I would not manage it too many times...
last questions ; could I only obtain A2DP stereo bluetooth performance remaining with my current ROM situation ? are there other important improvement to take into account ??
As you can imagine , any comment / suggestion / etc is very aprreciated.

As far as the ROM goes, I had the same ROM as you and I switched to the Dopod ROM (see on my signature). I think it works better and faster than the iMate ROM. There is a new "official" Qtek ROM available now. It is suppose to be a good one too. Check the ftp site.

thanks to matterhorn , but I need to know what I have to do to install a rom not " imate" ; do I need particular software to do it? must I unlock or "prepare" my jamin to accept the rom you use , for example?

UK MDA Vario 2 latest roms etc?

Does anybody know the latest offical ROM etc for the T-Mobile Vario2?
Mine is off back to T-Mobile tommorow for checking out over battery life.
My current details are:
ROM Version: 1.21.110.3
ROM Date: 06/19/06
Radio Version: 1.05.05.00
Protocol Version: 32.36.7010.04H (Whatever that is!)
I would like them to update it whilst its away, but I wonder if there is a newer one I can officially have.

Well, received back today.
Repair docket said replaced mainboard/unit exchanged plus software upgraded.
The phone is new as imei number is different.
But ROMS etc are all same version.

I just wanna get the vista onto my MDA Vario II. If it runs faster thats all i want!!!

DOnt want to sound stupid...... but what would I get (over my standard T-Mobile image) if I upgraded to this or the even newer HTC one (2.05.255.1 - 01/17/07 ). Whats the AKU etc?

I am new on this forum, and first of all I'd like to thank all the HD mini experts !
I have spent a month reading almost all principal threads, however I'd like to have some recommendations/clarifications before flashing my ROM.
I have a professional phone with French Orange Network (I'm French )
and the information from my phone are the following :
System version : 5.2.23103 (23103.5.3.3)
Manila version 2.5.20161224.1
ROM verion 1.36.73.6 (94538) FRE
ROM Date 09/28/10
Radio version 0.63.05.41
When I try to download last ROM version from the HTC site, it says that the version is not "suitable" for my device
So here are my questions :
1- Shall the phone be unlocked before flashing ?
2- Will the last French ROM version available on shippedROM run on my phone ?
3- Shall I dump my ROM before doing anything ?

1- Yes
2- No,you can't run ROM's from shippedROM if the phone is carrier locked,right now you can only upgrade your ROM from Orange site
3-useless

For answer two, does that mean that when it will be unlocked I'll be able to run other ROM, or am I blocked for ever with no possibility of flashing cooked ROM ?
