Then you probably need to search more for "battery status" -> http://www.chi-tai.info/cs_batterystatus_xda_neo_wm5_im_cs.htm

Tillanosoft's SmallMenu program has an excellent battery life indicator but comes with a cascading program launcher - the latter of which I don't use.
Would anyone care to write a standalone battery indicator program without the frills?

Try Battery Watch 1.02. Excellent freeware. Stands in the taskbar.
Regards
Battery Watch was my fave until i discovered SmallMenu!
I'm extremely fussy - IMO, SmallMenu beats Battery Watch with it's one-tap-show-all battery meter on the navbar - and looks more professional too!
Thanks tho'!

Hello, i'm in need of a *free* but good battery meter that I can configure to show on my Today screen.
I don't need lots of extra's with it, just a nice display which shows the % left etc.
What's available?
TIA

I use BatMemTime. I guess it does exactly what you want, once you configured it not to show various memory and storage related info.
Cheers
Daniel
I use InlineCredit Battery Bar. http://www.insertcredit.co.uk/batterybar.htm
I was using Lou's Todayinfo during my Ipaq3800 days.

Best of all, its free and skinable...
Nowadays i see there are many of the same version from other ppl.

So So So So So Sorry for my bad English Friends
61 view and no reply!!!:-(
Do anyone install these software?
Hi, firstly, your English is a lot better than my Iranian! Just looked up Zahedan on Google maps and you get a big blank map unless you zoom right out!
Spb products do seem to have problems with WM6 - which ROM are you using? I have stopped using them as I had to many problems. Have you tried the spb support site? I doubt if you'll have much luck but might be worth a try.
Good luck.

I think that says I am interested in Batti - what I meant to say was you might be. It's a battery meter for the PPC.

Hi,
I overclocked my Prophet about a week ago to 301MHz and have it seems to be very stable - i've had no freezing the whole time whilst browsing the web, send emails and watch streaming video via orb. I just wanted to know if anyone has been able to push the Prophet any further to get an idea about its overclock capability. I know the phone in most cases remains working if you clock it to high but my Tornado seems to have slowed down after I overclocked it too much and I don't want that to happen with this one aswell.
Thanks
The highest speed I can OC my prophet to stably is 286. The chips all behave slightly differently so one may clock higher than others...
cool thanks!!
I advise you not to overclock it that much. At least not in a regular basis. It is a good idea tu use the scalar mode. You can find that setting on BatteryStatus plugin.
someone can tell me the name of a overcloker ?
id proved 2 types of programs (turbotry, other) with no results.
anyone knows a cool program tooverclock a Prophet - qtek200 and WM5 ?
thanks a lot
Try Battery Status, I've been using this for a very long long time with many cool features other than overclocking......trust me and try it....http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=270751
Does anyone know if batterystatus is available for WM6.1 standard on tornado?
No idea! I'd check the website http://www.chi-tai.info/
thanks! i will check it out
for wm6.1
i could not see in the web site

Hi,
The program your looking for is omapclock, however this only temporarily overclocks the cpu. To overclock over a longer period of time you will need tornado power control (which comes with omapclock) - I have attached a file
Let me know how you get along!

Bro could you be more specific about the problem...
cause about the battery drain there any many post in HD2 sections. since i cant use link here. may be you can check the sticky thread in general and you can find it there.
i use NRG for few days and since i use GSM only i disable 3G so its kinda better not draining much as i can winmo always hunger for battery...may be if you can find better answer share with me so i would learn as well.
there are some cycle of charging said by MIRI, i guess you already know that...

I mean "doesnt drain battery so much" I use my HD2 only for the internet and navi. No talking at all. 3G must be always on. Kwbrs was the best (for battery life), but I started using navi in landscape, so now I want Manila in landscape as well. Energy ROM looks & works great , but it drains battery like hell That's why I need something else

Not true: After a couple of tiny adjustments the 23554 build uses 1% battery charge per hour (i had 86% charge left after 14h) - now if you call that draining then something is wrong with your eyes
on your phone running energyrom:
open totalcommander and goto windows/startup
remove taskmanager link and arkswitch link
install showcase (instead of arkswitch)
reboot the phone
set it up the way you want
thats all
