I used to to have my phone called "Chris' HTC", but I have had to do a hard reset now it change to "WM_Chris_1". I can't remember how I changed it.
Can anyone help me please?

I'm having a real dumb ass moment for myself...
I updated to the new qtel 2.17 rom, and it runs great..
I only have one problem..
If I type in "wel" in an sms or whatever, my device changes it to "we'll".
I had this with my previous rom, and changed a registry entry..
Now I can't seem to find which registry entry I need to change..
Can someone help me please???

registry edits - pfah!
My device name was WM_sorcerer before the hard reset.
Now after a hard reset I synchronized again and it became WM_sorcerer1
how can I change it back to WM_sorcerer ?

Hi, i installed the SPB Mobile Shell after downloading it from the windows marketplace, however its a bit to fiddly to me. Iv been trying to remove it and go back to the standard hd2 skin that the phone came with, but i dont know how :S
does anyone know?

go to:
Start > Settings > System > Remove Programs. there find SPB Mobile Shell and klick Remove
Then go to:
Start > Settings > Today > 2nd folder Items > tick HTC Sense

flashed a custom rom. going over the settings and even the registry settings everything looks good from what I've found so far.... but when i get an MMS i receive a notification , after which I attempt to download said file.... fail

Make sure you're connecting your data through "epc.tmobile.com"
where does that setting entry reside?
Slider > Settings > Wireless Connections > Press on Data Connection > Manage existing Connections > Edit the one that's selected > Access point : epc.tmobile.com

After try different solutions, i found one that work perfectly and is very easy.
Settings > System > Advanced > Reset option > Reset WiFi, mobile and bluetoot.
Now i can play games without problem
