i never saw the original CNN panel (didnt that one require a panel manager update?) because this is installed on R2A
the one i know installs without problems on the R2A firmware without any updated panel manager, i guess its the same, maybe it was released late on the german's side

This version added the sliding control on the panel. You can slide through home, weather, option, etc now, but I think it is kinda laggy and slower than the leak version.

got the same prob? just downloaded the version from the official SE site. it doesn't say something about a new panel manager required to run this CNN panel? Suggestion anyone? Already did a soft-reset, but that didnt matter. I just can not see it in the panel manager, although my software manager says the installation is completed...

Change Registry
I noticed this problem a few days ago.
You have to download PHM RegEdit and change file registry.
In my case from Programfiles to Programfiler, because I have Norwegian ROM.
Then the CNN panel will show up.
Btw..
Could anyone here give med a right download link to download PHM RegEdit?
I lost mine, and don't know which one to download from official site.

you dont need to change the registry to get this panel working! its designed for english and american devices! for those who have a device which is neither american nor english: you just have to add a new folder on your device which is called "program Files" in this folder you add another new one called "Panels" so that you can copy and paste the "cnn-pane" folder from your original Panels folder in. it works and you can do it the same way with any official panel that doesnt work for example the growing panel. i hope it works on your devices too.

on topic: sometimes it does not load a page, get an error / time out after some time. connection is fine, wifi or 3G, doesnt matter. Anyone else? got the latest version, 1.43 i believe.

those are just files and modules but not a ROM image!
I have no way to create rom image to be able to flash yet.

My JasJar died while doing the radio update.
The update failed once, and killed it.
Since then even I managed to run the update successfully, it still won't go past the boot screen. I am hoping that a full ROM dump will revive it.
Poor guy is right. Nothing sadder than killing something like the JasJas in less than a week.

Can you claim them to replace as initial problem without telling you did try upglade? :lol:

Sorry just a bit OTP here but Asukal, I tried to install your Japanese support on my JasJar, it never wanted to fully reboot always froze on the IMATE page. I had to make 3 Hard reset to get back the one working.
Do you have any idea of what was going on?

I soft reset my JasJar before installing all stuff, so no longer Arabitizer... I think that I locate the problem, in my first exp I am sure that I mad the mistake to install everything on the SD. I tried last night again and it works now... do not I may have a bad karma
I got version for WM6, I installed .cab version.
I found shortcut in programs folder, i try to start it but doesn't work.
I see the audiomanager icon appears for one second on top of my desktop and nothing after this.

When installing the CAB a strange error message popped up (a bubble without text, just offering a YES and a NO button). I pressed the YES-button (no risk, no fun), and the CAB installed without any further problems.
I tested all applications, and they work like a charm. No big changes, but obviously new office'07 templates (e.g. .docx) are being used as default. A good thing is that the programme icons have been changed and look much nicer now, a bad thing is that the progs are really eating RAM (I lost approx. 5 MB compared with the situation before install!). Too me, it looks as if this is mainly due to some big new .dll's that are being placed in the windows directory. I assume that for any other software company the huge memory consumption would be a reason to withdraw the progs, but with MS I am not so sure...

I cant get this to work on my Diamond. Call Recording does not Work correctly. You can barely hear the caller voice.
Does this depend on witch Radio Rom the TD Use? I Tried with Stock Rom 2.03 and Radio v1.09.25.23 + v1.11.25.01
Some People reported that they got it to work on Toch Diamond and Pro.

yes screenshots are from Touch HD.
Touch HD supports Real Incallrecording with Radio Rom 1.10.25.25. This Radio also enables Incall Recording for other apps such as Resco Audio Recorder. This is what makes me think that its an Radio issue on the Diamond. Maybe i have to Flash an Blackstone(HD) Radio to find out but first i have to security unlock my diamond for that.
Can somebody who already has an Blackstone Radio on his Diamond Test this?

I got it working on my personnal kitchen (both sound equally loud).
It doesn't come from the radio but from the drivers.

As i updated every single part of my kitchen before getting it fixed (all OEM packages updated and XIP & SYS ported from 21028), I don't know exactly wich file is needed but I'm quite sure it comes from a file from OEM\OEMDrivers.
I tried to replace file by file while installed but it made my device crash so I'm not sure it's possible to update the needed files except by cooking theim.
Anyway, I could release my kitchen if people are interested and if I find a decent connection to upload.

got this working on my diamond but i cant find where the recordings are saved.
Used Total Commander to search for all .wav and .amr files, and tried the recorder using both file types and recording in both locations (device/internal storage). I can play the files back using Incall Recorder, but I want to back up the recordings and listen to them elsewhere.
Any ideas?

It's trial and error and entirely subjective which tweaks we all prefer.
I installed on the tweaks page:
Numbers:
2, 4, 23, 24 (there is a cab lower down), 35, I also removed the 'HTC Quietly Brilliant' splashscreen from Opera (HKLM/software/opera/info/showsplashscreen - set to zero)
I also installed Skyfire for video full-on flash

...but first you will need to intall a registry editor. I went for Resco Explorer and then you install the registry editor add-in.
As for ROMs, I haven't swapped yet. I am waiting for a ROM to be released which addresses the problems I am having, such as call volume and (still) the SMS issue.
