Newbie Flashing Question - 8125, K-JAM, P4300, MDA Vario General

I have tried not to start the new thread about flashing qtek 9100 but I have a "problems".
I have read lot of threads in this forum, my device is T-Mobile MDA Vario (G3), and I`m successfully flashed to Radio Version 2.69.11, T-Mobile 2.26 Rom, IPL/SPL 3.08 and everything is fine and works and I would like to have some WinMo 6.1 version, but when I try to upgrade to some other version of ROM (for example TNT.20273 Series Official or any other) flashing procedure finished successfully and after restarting device, calibrating stylus, there is some installation starting, again restart and... I have T-Mobile Rom again.
What I`m doing wrong, I have read some stuff about ExtRom, do I need to delete all files in ExtRom-hard reset-again flash to have WinMo 6.1 on my device or what? If I need to delete those files in ExtRom which .cab file I need to install for my version of Rom (T-Mobile 2.26)?
Sorry if my question is dumb.
Thanks in advance!

I fix it, case closed.

to upgrade to 2.xx, look for the official t-mobile usa 2.26 rom and flash your rom with it. after that you can move to wm6. just make sure that you're phone has been cid unlocked before you start the whole process.

plzzzzzzzzz any body can help anyone can solve the problem

Try going back to the stock tmobile ROM (check the link in my sig for the link to the ROM). It's a WM5 ROM that contains the IPL, SPL, Radio, and OS. After you load that, you should be able to load anything. Good luck and happy new year.

Wizard doesn't boot!

Hi!
I have a problem. I installed WM6.1 on my VPA C2. Everything went fine, but WM6.1 seemed to be slow on my device. So I decided today to downgrade to the original Qtek AKU2 WM5. After I was done downgrading my VPA is not booting and hangs up on the provider screen with the Vodafone Logo.
Here my facts:
IPL 2.21.0001
SPL 2.21.Olip
GSM 02.19.11
OS 2.18.7.7
Please tell me how I can reactivate my device.
Soft- and hardreset didn't work.
Greetings,
Chris

Your phone is HardSPL,did you first remove it before flashing wm5 ? if not than you have to first remove the HardSPL flash back to official original vodafone IPL/SPL and than flash official wm5.
Well, you are lucky,if it still boots up or goes into Bootloaders, coz flashing a rom with IPL/SPL even if its an official rom, to a HardSPL device will 'Brick' the phone.
Now,if it still gets into Bootloaders, reflash any custom build wm6 or 6.1 rom to recover the phone, than remove HardSPL,flash back to official IPL/SPL and than revert back to wm5,hope it'll work out.
@zabardast_1: Thank you for the fast answer!
Okay, I now flashed the phone again w/ WM6.1. Everything works again.
What do I have to do now to get WM5 back on the device? I don't want the Vodafone ROM, I want the Qtek ROM. How can I remove the Hard SPL so?
Greez,
Chris
Read and do the method explained in this thread and remove HardSPL :-

The Mighty Search
...knows all!
Hint:
try "remove HardSPL"
Thank you all!
Everything is back on WM5 and working!
Thanz!
Have a nice day

Compatible ROMs [URGENT]

Dear all,
I have a HTC Charmer (t-mobile, German) and I am trying to change the ROM to an english one. I already managed to unlock the phone with Lokiwiz 3.0a but I didn't have any success at all trying to get a WiMo 5 ROM. Does anyone know where can I get one? I found one in t-mobile website (uk) but when I'm installing it, it says "invalid vendor ID".
I read in other threads that Prophet ROM may work.
http : //forum.xda-developers.com/archive/index.php/t-343356.html
However, I'm not sure if it's true and I'm afraid of obtaining a cool brick as an outcome.
Many thanks,
N
Next time just read and if you ask give more info. Which SPL and IPL do you have?
And to flash the English Aku3 to a German phone you need the NoID ruu. You can get it here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=42657&d=1183226200
If your SPL is 2 or higher I would recommend you to use an English WM 6 6.1 or 6.5 instead as they can be found in Charmer Mobile 6 subforum.
Before you flash WM6 or higher please read how it works. (The CID unlock part of the one howto isn't needed to be done!!)
Hope that helps.
And next time please read first and ask then!!!

Hi!
You need 2.06 IPL,SPL to flash cooked ROMs.Downgrade is risky,I did it,but it needs some knowledge.
Before do anything with your Charmer, make a Goldcard,it can be useful!!!

guide
did you follow these instructions:
<im restricted to post links since im a new user>
there is a guide on the wizard upgrading etc. section of the wizard forums
i just newly upgraded my o2 xda mini s from version 5 to version 6.1 successfuly after reading the guide.
make sure your phone is sim/cid unlocked before flashing to a higher version ipl/spl rom. (it would be much easier that way switching roms, etc.)
what i know is that you can't flash a wm6 rom in a phone with current ipl of 1.xx
you need to have a wm5 rom of ipl/spl of 2.xx before flashing to a wm6 rom (correct me if i'm wrong)
the link i posted to the guide was good, though i advice you to read it carefully so you dont mess up with your phone. if you arent sure of the instructions its much safer to dont take risk
