If I were to sell my xperia (perfect conditions) how much should I get for it ??
I want to sell my unlocked xperia for a brand new rhodium....how much would i pay difference ??
thnx again
Xperias in Atlanta GA area on Craigs list can fetch USD $450-$480 - used
Ebay selling all depends on your feedback and ad presentation. Black ones are easier to sell, I have noticed, unless Silver is US X1a ver, keep in mind I am in the US and not sure of your location.

thnx a lot !
well actually I realized this is a little premature as the price of rhodium in the USA hasn't been set yet (some say 550 some 850) so I won't sell until I'm sure I can afford the difference !!

Hi,
Just want to share some info for those who did not know yet. www.expansys.com is a good place for you to get any accessories for Kaiser or any other Pocket PC.
Excellent news! Hadn't heard of them before! Will check them out straight away!
Weird that you guys never heard of them before.. they are well known of selling overpriced stuff I remember there is this audio adapter which is a 3" long adapter which they sell for US$15 (or something like that).

Well, for sure if you're in UK, eBay would be a better choice.. but since you are in the capital city of Malaysia (i.e. much nearer to China), I would presume you can get stuff off the local shops pretty easily (i.e. many cheap China imports).
Anyway, this www.dealextreme.com is the cheapest I know. Waaaay to cheap to be true, sometimes.. that I thought it may be a scam. But things there are sometimes too cheap to be scammish. I haven't tried it, but it looks pretty trustworthy. You may have to dig your way around to find stuff. I guess *expensysve* has a reason for their pricey stuff for nicely organized stuff.
Well, for the Malaysian, expansys is still the cheapest to buy the Kaiser but NOT IT ACCESSORIES.
Here in Malaysia, the telco operators do not sell the phone through contract. Here in Malaysia we buy phone separately and then register with any telco that can over the best package for us. Hence the price of the phone especially the high end model such like Kaiser/TyTN II.
So, anyone has any ideas where I can get the accessories at a cheaper price?
I have made several orders from www.dealextreme.com in the last few months, they are a pretty good site to do business with. Some of their stuff you get exactly what you pay for, cheap products. Most everything I have ordered from them has been great though
I just find out that x7510 will not not going to sell in my country (Malaysia).
This is indeed a very bad news as I really wanted to buy this unit.
Can anyone recommend any good & trusted online shop which sell this unit (preferably the one that offer the unit with good price) and willing to send to Malaysia & also accept Paypal or Google Checkout.
Now I am looking at expansys UK but it is good to get a few more alternative for comparision purpose.
Thanks
I live in Australia and I got it from the uk @ www.clove.co.uk/ . They are good, ive got lots of stuff from them.

Thanks, Their price seem to be slightly cheaper than expansys. But how about packing. Do you received the items in good order?
Mine came from www.onthegosolutions.com based in Illinois, USA. I don't know how the price will seem to you, but I have nothing but good words for the service.

Theres no tax for you also, so you can exclude vat
packing yea was good. Water proof sealed bag with bubble wrapped around the x7510 box.
I suggest you buy if from the uk if you live in Malaysia since the Americans like to mod their phones for them to work in their country plus don't you use 240 voltage?
i got mine straight off UK online retailers

Yes in Malaysia, we are using 240V. Another plus point is that UK & Malaysia is using the same electrical plug.

Would you mind share which UK retailer?
there are many, 2 of which are trust worthy
expansys,
and
devicewire
Here is a list of OFFICIAL HTC RETAILERS in the UK (select UK): http://www.htc.com/europe/where_to_buy.aspx
As you can see CLOVE Technology is in there (that's where I bought mine delivered to the US via DHL)
DEVICEWIRE is in there too.
Stay away from EXPANSYS and ONTHEGOSOLUTIONS. Why? Because they are OVER PRICED. Their service is just as good as any of the listed from above. Nothing different.
Thanks for all suggestion. Now I am more keen to get it from clove.

I bought from Inkino.
However, in the end I did not buy X7510 but instead choose to purchase used Dopod U1000 from local owner at very good price I think. Its only £275 but with almost new condition with remaining 4 month warranty from HTC. I could not see any scratch whatsoever The previous owner seem like not using it at all. It comes with 2GB memory card, VGA out cable & car holder as well. I am a very happy of to own this unit.
hey guys, I have been wanting an Xperia for a while and I finally have enough money to buy one but I was just wondering where was the best place (located in the United States) to buy one? I am on T-Mobile USA so 3G doesn't matter, an X1i will be perfectly fine. I am trying to avoid the 700-800 dollar premium price as I have seen many for 600-650 new.
The best place atm in my opinion is...
http://www.amazon.com/Sony-Ericsson...sr_1?ie=UTF8&s=wireless&qid=1234846501&sr=8-1
Just a question though, do ALL xperia's come with a 4GB MicroSD? Amazon doesnt specify what the package contents are. I can only be sure of the phone, manual,ac adapter,etc...
ebay would be your best bet. i saw "experia x1" goes around $640ish with free shipping... they are all x1i
place to buy x1
I bought mine on craigs list for 500. People are selling them cause they need the cash.. The guy had it listed at 600. He took 500 without any question.
I love hard eco times
ah I have been looking on craigslist for weeks! No one has an xperia for sale in my area (Sacramento, California)....
if the international versions do not have US warranties, how will the warranty work? I'm sure there has to be some kind of warranty in place.
oops ...mods please delete
yoou should be able to find it cheaper from
uk ebay
handtec
clove
shipping may be more expensive than you think
I got mine for 630 on ebay like a week ago.
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT&item=140299796562
edit: just noticed that seller raised it to 650. on the 9th it was 630 though. haha.
my x1
i just got one off thease on ebay for £350 uk pound and went and picked the phone up i love this phone
got mine for 370€ (solid black, no branding, new) on ebay.de
So the US T-Mobile branded phone is for all intents and purposes, a better phone going by the specs, ROM & RAM upgrade.
So why is T-Mobile offering $450 no contract, and it's around $800-$900 to import one from Australia? I mean I understand taxes duties and the likes, and exchange rates, but 1 U.S. dollar = 1.09649123 Australian dollars So there shouldn't be THAT much of a difference...
Supply and demand my friend. Although the ones that come from AU being the Telstra brand works on the ATT 3G bands.

Yes I know that the telstra version works with AT&T, which is why I'm curious of the price difference.
HD2 T-Mobile US: $450 USD no contract
HD2 Telstra: $755.88 USD ($829.00 AUD) no contract
HD2 UK: $692.04 USD (£464.99) no contract
My point is that the T-Mo phone is a better phone, spec wise compared to the Telstra one.
Why the $200+ price difference for less of a phone?
Don't forget that the poor Australians usually pay ANY electronic device / technical stuff a good deal more than everybody else in the first place, all the stuff with importing goods to a remote country for few people and transporting them all across a huge country... that would be the difference between the UK and AUS price you listed.
Then to the difference between UK and US, I'd put it down to TMO subsidizing it and selling with little or no profit for marketing reasons. Even without contract the phones are locked to their network, so they make sure they'll recover costs from service. In Europe ours aren't locked, so we can buy one and use it anywhere.

the only difference is the pre loaded software and the rom size. the ram is already proven to be the same 576

Things aren't really that expensive down here!
1) agree that T-mobile is probably still subsidising the device. The price of the Telstra version is completely unlocked and could be used on other networks.
2) the telstra price includes all taxes and charges
3) the exchange rate (USD-AUD) has varied quite a bit and was down to .77 (now at .91) at some stage in the last 6 months. Given that companies like HTC set their sales strategies months out - they might have used at lower exchange rates.
Still - I bought mine off ebay for $700 AUD. I hate telstra

Think about it for a moment. Supply and demand. Let it sink in...
TmoUS has an HD2. AT&T and a few other Canadian carriers dont. So there's the potential of XX million of users on all of those carriers who will not get the HD2. With that in mind, the DEMAND for the HD2 is very high (as it was across Europe and Asia) and being that this is a very expensive smartphone, HTC can't churn them out like Nokia with all their dumbphones, resulting in a very low SUPPLY.
Just think of the next time you drive your car and you're low on gas. All the gas stations around you are out of gas themselves except for one. Unfortunately, this one gas station understands that you have no other alternative except coming here for gas, so it is charging $5/gal compare to $2/gal of the other ones. If you're unwilling to walk 10mi to your workplace, you'd fork over the money to fill up with $5/gal.
Now about the hardware, noone here cares about TmoUS having an extra 512MB of ROM when most people install it on their 16GB sd card anyway. So hardware is a moot point.

But it isn't a better phone if you consider the 3G bands it supports.
850/2100 is dynamite.
900/2100 is good.
1700/2100 is basically useless.
tmob has a price of 450
htc has a price of 550 for the same ??

Does anyone know if fake or replica ones are now flying around from China (just like iphone)? I found some ebay sellers offering HD2 on a very very low price, but I'm under the impression that they are replicas
If in doubt, don't buy from shady sources. There's a list of official retailers in your country on HTC.com.
Personally, I haven't seen any fakes yet but I guess it's reasonably to assume that there are some out there. btw: The cheap mobile phone offers on eBay are often coupled with a carrier contract, thus the low price.
Just don't do it. There's not that much of a mark-up through official retailers, so unless they're doing you a favour and selling at a loss...
I got burned once, and once was enough when buying a glofiish x800. Never again.
well my budget is limited and i'd really like to get the tmobile version, but they are sold out everywhere in stores and people are marking up the prices on ebay ;(

But if you blow your limited budget on a fake, you won't have anything at all?
yes, i get your point, thanks all for your inputs
can u upload here the image for the fake hd2?
Keep a look out for http://www.dealextreme.com website. They usually have all kind of popular phone knock-offs for a few hundred bucks if you're into those kind of thing.
