Morning all,
Quick question... the home screen calendar notifications... is there anyway to increase the time it shows... at the moment it will show 1 day in advance, can you make it 2/3days, a week?
Cheers

... and is there a way to increase the size of the characters and the color ? That light grey is really invisible, especially on non-black backgrounds!
I agree. Both problems need to be solved.
Maybe second today is a temporary solution for you (personally i never tried it).

Yeah, that is a possibility... Install SecondToday and run Calendar+ on it. But there has to be a way to do this in Manila!!!
Someone help! Please!
Maybe this thread will help.

Ok, have had a brief look into some of the mentioned links, but without sounding too lazy is there a simple CAB for this?

Since you are too lazy and noone is answering I just tried the Touch HD cab (no BG4all) on Dutty's 3 and it works fine! Shows me more appointments! Especially when using the small clock on the home screen...
It does this by hiding the "Call History" item when no calls have been missed and using a few other tweaks...

Which ways have you tried? Details of your process? Just so we dont repeat or others can find out how you did it and failed?

This is the best way to do this.
Search VJtoggletoday on this forum and you will find all that you need.
Set 26 on top bar and 1 to lower bar.
If you want to hide also top bar set 1 to all.

SSMapA
yes, people, use ssmapa, you can change click link location to any other one.
Thank you.
Works like a charm...
No action when clicking on TF3D clock

great work..
thanks
It works just great!!!
Thanks for the replies guys!
This drives my crazy: After rotating the screen with gyrator, gsen or manual-button, the HD switches back to manila or any other last used system window.
(There are some posts inside some big threads wich nobody replied, so I start a new one for this bug only...)
This is VERY annoying if you just want to turn the screen for reading or writing a mail...
i dont know if this is the right method to do it.. but
try adding all types of exceptions to the list in gsen window/class etc of your messaging window!
i came across the same problem and this seem to fix it!
try it and let me know if it worked!
what have you added? manila is already added...
sometimes the bug disappears...I added the exeptions, but have to wait some times to see if the effect lasts...But thanks!

im not talking about manilla.. open the window you wish you dont want to rotate.. then hit the home button on your phone. then go to gsen configuration and add all the windows/classes/process of that application!
that should stop the minimizing of that window when rotated.. hopefully!
if someone has a better solution let us know!
? in dont understand. I do want to rotate for example the mail window, so i added all the others to "dont rotate". correct?

Did you test MobileMagic?
yes, same effect + too buggy
It's top bar's icons related problem.
If you uninstall them you should not have that issue.
As described in another thread. This may be caused by colorful icons/battery icon in top bar.
ahhh ok I'll try. Thanks.
Do you know an other way to display some battery percentage?

If you look around, there is atleast two color top bars that do not have this problem. The problem originated from one of the first color top bars (which everyone liked and used), but now just look around and try them till u find one that u like and doesn't have the bug. (i'd give u mine but i can't find the cab for either one) good luck
Please let us know if you find one, and where to get it.
Thanks.
i now use aebuttons plus to show me battery-percentage at a btn-click.
Hi,
we are some people thare are looking for how to make a shortcut to the reminder.

This bell is difficult to tap without a pen and defeats the finger friendly aspect of MS. Any ideas?
Thanks,

Just checked SPB's forum and there is a pretty popular thread there asking for this exact functionality. Doesn't look like SPB is listening or at least responding. Hopefully somebody here can add one.

I got in the same position when using Homescreen++. I got things almost just the way I wanted them and still felt things lacking without this. I don't even need a fancy display for the notifications / reminders. Just an indicator that when tapped, shows the regular WM notification balloons. Heck, at this point I'd even take a setting that leave the balloons up until I dismiss them. Maybe a mortscript could do this? Anything to avoid fumbling with the little bell. It is really hard to hit with just my thumb.

An icon that would light up if there are system notifications. Press it, and in a good way show notifications/allow them to be dismissed.

anybody has an idea how to make a shortcup to launch the (too) litle reminder bell ?
Ditto. Not only reminders...but I get all kind of alerts during the day - text, email, calender reminders. It would be nice if I could assign a shortcut to open my pending reminders
hi there! i just have one or two appointments per week and i wondered if i can show up these on home tab when they begin in further future (like two or three days or a week) instead of just one day. i hope you understand what i mean...
maybe it's just a value in the registry i have to change from 1 to X to extend the period. but i don't know where to look at! any hints?
thx in advance.
excuse me for pushing this thread, but i'm wondering if this is just a stupid question from me and just a windows mobile included setting i cannot find or really noone knows how to change. can't believe that i'm the only one who would like to have this feature!
or is my english that bad?
Have a look at this mod being developed. this should give you what your looking and more.

okay, it really seems that my english is the reason why nobody understand what i would like
at first, thank you for the link. but as far as i can see (and on the screenshots) the mod is only to have MORE appointments at home screen. but i would like to show up the appointments EARLIER.
as example: i have to visit the dentist in - let's say 5 days. but this appointment should be shown on homnescreen today - not just in 5 days...
do you know now what i mean?
your english is fine.. there's just no registry value for it.. at least not one that I can find.. would be nice to have a setting for that in Sense itself..
Althought it seems logical to have just today's appointments on the "Today Screen" don't you think?
You could set a reminder for a few days before.. not quite the same, I know, but it works..

Im runnin 1.43 stock o2 rom and this mod works perfectly so far apart from a slight graphical misalignment for the alarm button. You should post your issues on Co0kies thread, if you havent done so already, and maybe he will address them.
As for the home tab showing more than todays i have an appointment set for 13/02 and 2 on 15/02 and its showing it on my home tab using Co0kies mod .
thx for all your replies!

I can confirm its working, on default you see an upcoming event in 7 days if no other appointmens are before. See his tips on the registry settings for more days.
i was afraid of testing it, because i thought there is maybe a conflict with my 5x5 shortlinks mod i already have installed.
but i have just tried it and it works perfect! the appointment are shown as i wanted! many thx to all of you.

I tried the newest version of that mod and it seems to work now! Also, I had to use SPB backup as Sprite backup screws up the registry after a restore.
