Me two. Can anyone help?
Agree. Me too. This is so boring. How could we block this clock when we touch it?
Please can anyone help?
Maybe the soft SSMAPa could fix this issue.

Yes it can, I changed the action to startup tomtom, but that is also annoying because you keep hitting it accidentaly...
SSMapA
yes, people, use ssmapa, you can change click link location to any other one.
Thank you.
Works like a charm...
No action when clicking on TF3D clock
Use SSMaPa app and link 'Time click' to PrgDoNothing.exe

Hi. it's not workin in wm 6.5, it just hide the softkey text, not the whole bar, any solution?
Both noDciBar and PMC TodayShrink aren't working... They'll work when they want and start when they want. Are there any others?

I occasionaly click on the big digital clock on the HTC home by accident, while aiming to click on the e-mail or sms icon. Clicking on the clock opens the 'Clock & Alarms' screen, which I hardly ever use.
Is there a way to disable the opening of 'Clock & Alarms' when clicking on the clock?

Have never seen this pop up on the forums.. sorry.
I've seen once around here somewhere in the Kaiser section someone was able to change a short cut on the home screen (one of the mail buttons), but that was it. If someone could find the reg key for that or whatever controls it youc ould probably disable that clock/alarms link somehow, but i wouldnt know where to start
bump
Im looking for the same thing!
Me too
That would be a FANTASTIC this to be able to fix <BUMP>
clicking on clock by accident
+1
Ho yes
mee too ...
I've searched for quite a while to find a solution.
I want to "remap" the click to open galarm for example.
But for now, I think there is no solution.
You can download Manilla 2D Customizer and then disable the alarm status and digital clock in Home tab. There will be no interaction when you press the analog clock in the home screen.
Oops, sorry. Wrong post. Thought that this is related with ROMs with Manilla 2D.
Is it something we could arrange with the SSMaPa soft ?
This soft proposes to replace "Clock clic" and "Alarm clic".... I am sure there is something to do here..
Has anybody already tried ?
Don't think you can change that.
I believe the function is associated with the display and setting of time in windows and not changeable via the interface (Manila 2D for instance).

Yes SSMaPa will do this. You can map the clock to any .exe including GAlarm, GProfile or any other program you wish.
Still does not stop you from accidentally pressing it though.
point it to a phoney exe
This guy seems to have found a solution. Will give it a try.

RESOLVED
Install Tweaks2k2.Net
Go to:
Tweaks> Security, No acces to change the time
Reset
Done!!
Thanks EZ. It works. I could not get ssmapa to work.
But it disables the windows time feature even from system. We dont change the time everyday so its good enough.
As seen in this rom:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=413820
the glowing tf3d bar.
has anyone already made on like this or can anyone make it?

Hello guys,
Is there any way to disable the selection of clock in TF3D? It occupies a larger part of the screen so it gets accidentally clicked n opens time n alarm settings.. Just want to disable its selection..
Thanks..
only thing i can think of is to use the minamized clock...just hover over the clock and swipe down and it will show a smaller clock
Yes till now i was using the small clock only, but i really like the big one with different skins, so thought of posting here.. Isnt there any way? Any change in registry or something?
No one with a solution?
Try SSMaHo. there is option Do Nothing
Wow, Thanx..
That helped, Thanx a lot
is there a reg key to be changed, i also would like this function, but i dont want to install another app just for this...
thank you

You can do the same with sk-tools too. Somebody with SK-Tracker can take two snapshots before and after doing the tweak and compare to find the registry value responsible. Please be kind enough to post here, so others can use it on UC too.
^ that would be very helpful...
Heck yeah! I was thinking about learning how to program for WM, and somehow intercept the click message, but now I don't have to OMG, I might actually have time to do something other than fix this phone!! Nooooo!
OK, here you go. I think this is the key.
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Clock]
"AppState"=dword:00000010
x10 = Disabled
x11 = Enabled
Morning all,
Quick question... the home screen calendar notifications... is there anyway to increase the time it shows... at the moment it will show 1 day in advance, can you make it 2/3days, a week?

I agree. Both problems need to be solved.
Maybe second today is a temporary solution for you (personally i never tried it).

Yeah, that is a possibility... Install SecondToday and run Calendar+ on it. But there has to be a way to do this in Manila!!!
Someone help! Please!
Maybe this thread will help.

Ok, have had a brief look into some of the mentioned links, but without sounding too lazy is there a simple CAB for this?

Since you are too lazy and noone is answering I just tried the Touch HD cab (no BG4all) on Dutty's 3 and it works fine! Shows me more appointments! Especially when using the small clock on the home screen...
It does this by hiding the "Call History" item when no calls have been missed and using a few other tweaks...
