Dialer after a call! - Touch HD General

Hello!
I've come across an annoying "feature" on my little stone, at first it didn't seem to bug me as much but after a while it's really getting annoying. It's the damn dialer that has to come up after a call has been ended. Any way to make so it doesn't show up?
Did try to search without any luck so hopefully this hasnät been talked about so much in previous threads

Me too,
I have the same issue also...
Does anybody how to solve this?

The only way now is to press the red button... very frustrating indeed!

Huhuuu
Hi there,
Does anybody have any idea about this issue? it's really frustrating..
Or let's ask in a different manner,
Doesn't anybody have any idea about this issue?
Does anybody do not have any idea about this issue?
Joke is joke, but this is nightmare!

Hopefully I'm proven wrong, but as far as I'm aware, there is no solution to this except pressing red button

Depends on the beholder!!

Any news re. this issue ?

I bet there's a registry thingy somewhere that controls the delay time. Perhaps if we would reduce it to 0.1 sec it would not even show?

There are two related settings at "Advanced Config" (the program), but unfortunately they are not spot-on the problem at hand. At least I, did not manage to reduce the time the dialer is displayed after a call.
They are both under the category Phone:
End call delay with description "Changes the delay between pressing the End key and actually ending the call. Default delay is 3 seconds."
and (this one seems more relative)
Call progress idle timeout with description "Specifies the number of milliseconds for which the call progress indicator will be displayed after the call is completed."

I also want to know answer if there is any registry tweak to disable dialer after a call. It is extremly annoying

Is it possible to make the LED flash quicker for notifications?

Hi guys,
Is there any reg hack to make the LED flash faster for notifications by changing the interval?
It really bugs me not being able to tell the difference between a notification and low battery level because they both flash the same colour
i too agree ..... any answers anyone?
here, here.
One of the features i miss that was on the prophet. The LED would flash at twice the rate for a message, so was easily spotted.
Glad im not the only one who would like this feature. It would be really nice if there was a way to do it.
Anyone?
the blinking is way too slow! sometime i have to stare at the phone for awhile to see the light to comfirms my pdaphone is ON.
Yeah i find myself doing that but to see if i have a new message/missed call etc. It's a shame nobody seems to know of a way to modify the speed at which it pulses

Forget that, to tell difference between bluetooth on and wifi on is a killer!
I was wondering if the reg settings from the wiki for custom notifications (flash led x seconds) is applicable? I haven't tried it, but thought if i said, flash for 5 seconds, it would be like a steady on for 5 seconds, off, on for 5 seconds?
What is the reg setting for custom notifications? The only key i can see mentioned in the Wiki is RingTone0 which is for incoming calls not for other notifications.

Oh. I thought that you could set that for all types of notifications individually.
sorry!

It would be good if that was possible, but i don't think it is..?
bumping this thread; wondering if anyone has discovered a way yet?
I'd like to stop the service blinking LED (only blink for notifications) Any hacks out there? Yes, I searched...
BUMP BUMP!!
Cant belive that nobody found a solution.
Its really anoying that I can not check if a SMS arrived or bluetooth is switched on just by a short look.
The blinking frequenzy on my Hermes is 3 sec for the green (right) led and 6 sec. for the blue (left) led.
This is definitly too long.
PLS. post a solution!
Any sulution?
1)
I know there is a thread already existing: (General/Dev + Hacking: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=295729&highlight=hack+led+possible+on+wm6).
But its written that this is not stable, especialy when device is in standby mode.
2)
I remember there was a reg hack too to change a script which is responsible for controlling the leds. But this is only for ringtone, not for notifications! (http://wiki.xda-developers.com/index.php?pagename=Hermes_Registry)
I guess such a little (userfriendly) programm which can change frequency and colour of the LED´s for notifications would be very usefull to all.
Or even a registry hack would help.
Vijay555, if you read this: please help and enlighten us!
nobody ???
Ah -- all the developers hae now flocked to the Kaiser. it's the damned nature of the beast!
I think so too,
Everybdy is spending too much time with useless romcocking.
Comeon, such a hack would be really usefull!
No Answers?
I do agree, it would be VERY usefull.
Just adding to the pot of would like to have.

About the common screen bug: Start Menu popup when thumb tapping

Hi,
lot of users had reported the Screen Bug:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=P9_1BAiU_7k
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GNv8FMy_mVU
This bug will popup your starmenu when:
- you are using "huge" thumb while tapping the display (xt9 sms writing for example)
- cpu is overheating (because it's near the diplay area)
I'm working to solve this issue via software.
Project moved to my website:
http://www.xiaprojects.com/?section...ols&action=HTC Trinity - P3600 Screen Bug Fix
Changelog:
0.0.10 Bugfix, now work on all WM6.1 themes and also new "Transparent" feature make it invisible! a good starting point to put TopBar by default in P3600 roms
thank you!
Sounds great! I have this problem so I would be keen to find a solution. Good luck and thanks in advance!
Exellent project.
Im testing now
Great program.
Since i've installed it, i have not been able to provoke the star menu poping up. Usually I could provoke it by randomly tapping the today screen, but not anymore...
This has been the most annoying bugs of the telephone, and i'm very happy that it seems to be fixed...
Thank you so very very much...
BeeBo
10x a lot stefanux ) i've started the TopBar program and tried it , wrote down a couple of e-mails and sms'es, and the start menu did not pop out even once , thank you again for your work
hmm.. i thought its a hardware issue? i used to have start menu problem.. sent in for screen replacement.. now my camera pops up from time to time ha..
ha! All this time I was wondering why my battery status kept popping up at random.. I never thought it was a screen problem. Maybe on my next disassembly I can sand down the bezel or something.
Stefano,
I am wandering if this program need to be place in the startup folder so that it will get started ? (please forgive me if you think this is a silly question).
Thanks for the great problem.
stefanux .... Thank you !!! although your intention was to let us capture the false pressure coordinate and feedback to you, somehow after running your little proggy, like the others i was not able to reproduce the start menu problem anymore. fyi, i did manage to reproduce the problem right before i start your little proggy.
will report again if the problem comes back after a soft reset Hopefully, this would make this most annoying problem go away.
again, thanks !
perfect
Hi,
good work, it just perfect for me, finally got rid of this only unbelievble bug.
thnks.
grate work
Excellent Tool! Thanks for posting it. Is there a way to prevent you from running it multiple times. Since you don't see anything on screen you are tempted to keep clicking on it - since your not sure its running. Maybe the second time you click it can popup saying its already running. But otherwise this thing rocks.

hi again, finally i manage to reproduce the start menu drop popup thingy. somehow, its harder to reproduce when your program is active.
However, manage to capture the coordinate of the fake pressure, 4 out of 4 time 0:0.
Hopefully this helps
omg, if this works..it will solve one of the biggest headaches (unfortunately, not all) i have with this phone!!!
Edit: Running this app and randomly touching the screen still results in the start menu popping up. I've noticed someone saying it works after a while. Does that mean this app takes some time before it can adapt to the pressures being applied at the start menu? Also, what is TopBar-diags.zip for?
Good !!!

Try 0.0.3 when ready, diags may help to find which coords are "fake"
I'm using the diag version. Oddly enough, even when the start menu pops up, the box where it displays the coords is still labeled with "Start!".

i notice another prob.. usually i ignore my alarm (default wm alarm) on my trin, but when i woke up in the morning, i can see the notification blinking between calendar & notification.. i'm annoyed with that problem.. is it normal?... can someone point me how fix that?..

[FIXED]that annoying noise when someone hangs up on you

anyone know how to disable that? its like 3 loud beeps just so you know the other person hung up.
Oh wow, I thought it was due to network settings from TMO only, but I guess this goes for all X1s. I'd like to know as well!
Disable annoying beeps when hanging up or call drops
Sometimes when a call ends or when you press the hangup button you get an annoying series of beeps. Like the in-call sounds, this is handled by a key in the registry:
HKCU\ControlPanel\Sounds\CallDropWithin that key the default 'Script' value is 'p' for 'play', change the 'Script' value to blank (erase the 'p') or change the 'Sound' key value to '*none'.

It's annoying when I go to hang up a call but my screen is off and I hear that.
noob question...how do i use this?
Thanks guys, i thought this was something on the service provider. U guys are legends. Thanks much
awesome, it also closes a lot faster now! Thanks a bunch!
hey thanks a lot, ive change the thread to fixed. problem solved.
and i must say it is faster no lag ftw
How do I access the registry to change this value?

calls issue on lockscreen - on all AOSP/LOS roms

I was wondering if othet users having the same issue or not. And hopefully find the solution for this issue.
Mostafa Wael said:
There is only one 'bug' that kinda get on my nerves however. It's come to my attention that whenever I receive a phone call, and the phone is in my pocket, I always pick it up to find a CallUI notification on my lockscreen and that I have to unlock the phone, swipe down the notifications panel and then expand the CallUI notification from there to answer the call. Further investigation reveals that such incident is caused by the fact that the home button can be accidentally triggered when a call is received, even when being in my pocket. I tried using the navigation bar instead and disable all the hw keys, but still the issue persisted.
