Hi all
I recently try to update my Elf with original HTC update, while updating the program stocked and the phone went down: No operating system, non response for Soft reset, no response on Hard reset only splitted RGB screen.
Please help me, the Elf is brand new and was purchesed not in my countrie so I don't have any support!

Hello,
Can't start my elf0100 (HTC Touch)
I can see smart mobility, that's all.
I tried to unlock it with an other article here.
(ELF-USPL - after that the device is down)
So i tried to flash some different ROMs on it, but nothing changed.
Any idea? - Maybe SPL ROM zone gone?
I searched a little bit in the forum, but i don't find a solution - too many answers - nothing helps (Hard-Reset, Softreset, Flashing...)

i have just bought the htc p4350 and noticed that when i boot the the device it does not display anything i.e the ipl, spl , gsm etc
my question how should i flash the device with the cooked roms available here without bricking the device

Are you looking for this info when you turn the device on (looking at the splash screens) or when you put the device in bootloader (tri-color) mode? As far as I know, the splash screens won't show any info, but if you put the device in bootloader mode (hold down camera button and soft-reset with reset hole) the IPL and SPL should show up. Not sure where else on the phone to get this information other than running the RUU.
And it's definitely a good idea to check those numbers out before HardSPLing.

thanks so much i have the ipl and spl which shows 4.24
now i will get back to reading how to flash it
i had the imate kjam and whenever you soft reset the phone it would dispaly the ipl,spl etc on the splash screen hence i presumed that this also should apply for the 4350

I can understand your confusion, for sure. I had another phone that showed that info on the splash screen as well.

Please urgent help required.
my HTC P3300 (Artemis) stuck up when i was trying to start it up. when i use to turn my cell on, i goes to the starting screen shows the following numbers and then stuck up.
IPL 3.07.0001
SPL 3.07.0000
GSM 02.69.90
OS 3.7.0.0
the screen does not move after that. i tried soft reset through the reset button but result is the same.
i also tried hard reset and when i puch the green phone button to proceed, a message come "FORMAT FAILED" and the phone stucks up.
i am quite a lot of problems since i have upgraded to WM6 from WM5 last week.
i am quite sucked with this problem. not been able to use my set since yesterday.
please also note that my HTC was not syncing with my PC since i have upgraded to WM6.
PLEASE HELP URGENTLY.

i have a problem, my touch dual gets stuck on the screen aligning . I try everything but nothing works.i chang the ROM i do hard reset, soft-reset but nothing.if someone has found the solution it gives me please. (sorry for my very bad english because i'm french and the english is not my speciality)

You should read the Wiki http://forum.xda-developers.com/wiki/index.php?title=File:HTC_Elf.png to learn more about your device. You are in bootloader mode, just press the reset (little hole at the bottom right) with your stylus to get out of it

i have same problem i have not read before device id and other data,, i have now tri colour bootloader mode, i try soft reset also hard but fail
i was try to change language to english 1st i install uspl it success then i try to upgrade wwe firmware but error at 1 percent then this hell,
