My Wizard's Screen (Qtek9100) - 8125, K-JAM, P4300, MDA Vario General

Please help me if you can!!!
My problem is my screen in portrait mod sometimes feels my touch but sometimes not. If I heard music (with TCMPlayer or CorePlayer) my touch screen 'touch itself' so it paused the music and i couldn't push the play because usually in that time the touch screen don't work. But in Landscape mod (when I push put the Keyboard) it works perfect. It software or Hardware Problem can be?
Many Thaks ! ReMikeAZ

Can it be my solution?

broken screen ?!?

hi guys, I have a problem, my screen keeps doing this thing where it stops working, it looks like the device has crashed, but all the buttons work fine. the touch sensors for the screen works about 30% of the time. I've just figured tho that if I twiddle the screen a little it works again. but does it again soon after.
does this sound like it needs to go back to shop for repairs? does it sound broken?
please give your replies.
I have a similar problem with the screen:
- Sometimes (once or twice a day) the Universal does not accept touch screen input.
- Then I twist the screen back and forth.
- After this touch screen works again.
How can avoid this?
BTW, is there a method to physically fix the screen in landscape?
I only use the Universal with the screen oriented in "Laptop" Mode.

For all that can't align screen

My dear fellow owners of a Blue Angel ppc. I've recently updated my Blue angel to wm6.1 by xplode and was having a weird problem. My screen was de calibrating at a very steady pace (around 1mm per day) and every time I tried to align my screen the touch screen simply friezed. I had to shut the device down and turn it on again in order to leave the align screen and the touch screen was functional again.
I tough it was a problem of the rom and posted my trouble in the topic of the rom. But since I'm not the kind of person that stays put waiting for other to solve my problem I went on a search trough the forum and found out that several other members of the forum where experiencing the same problem (on other devices) and the common thing on all of them was the installation of the cube/touch flo.
I started wondering if that was my problem to. So I uninstalled cube and the touch screen stopped responding. So I soft reset the device and the touch screen was working again (I just got a error message that the touch flo couldn't be started) and I was able to successful align my screen.
In resume:
Issue: The touch screen stops responding uppon entering the "Align Screen" screen.
Important considerations: do you have touch flo or cube installed?
Solution: If yes to question above, then remove the touch flo and/or cube from your device and the problem should be solved.
thank you for reading and I hope I was useful.
Be well!
I have the same problem, but my BA did not install any touch flo nor cube!
Cound it be any other reason?
Thanks.
Could you please describe your problem in more detail? What's your rom, why can't you align screen, etc.
Use a thin card!!!
I been using this once when I had the same problem. Use a thin card and swipe it between the keyboard and the main phone. Do it on top and bottom. During the time you do it yo will hear something like a clip sound. I think thats the screen calibrator, i don't know. but it works
Not bad if you try it.

No I'm not kidding. Me and My Brother-in-law did that. We have the same device. I did it first after finding somewhere in modaco. He told me that it worked.

G-off Display

"Description:
With G-off display you can turn off the screen by rotating and holding the phone upside down and holding it like that for a second.
To save battery while listen to your favorite music, simply point your phone downward, light off. All background processes remain.
Require G-sensor found in the latest HTC devices like Diamond / Pro / HD, etc."

Just what I need! but...
Hi
This is a nice app that i've wanted. I know I could use Changescreen as it has a similar feature, but a standalone like this is more preferable for me...
But I just can't download from Rapidshare...
Is it possible to load the .cab here since its only 345kb? or a mirror to somewhere else...
Anyways, Thanks for pointing this App out...

Hello
how about battery drain pls?
not working on HTC Rhodium (TP2) - also I can't see it in programs, etc. Do I need to do anything else after install?
I got a question are there any options? like on conference call (when using loud speakers - device is upside down), will it ignore the g-off? Because I am not sure what would happend if I would press POWER BUTTON in the middle of the call just to get the screen back ..
Not working in my Touch Pro, too
Using latest WinMobile 6.5.21935.
I also did a softreset after installation!

You don't see it. But it is there. Go to the Program Files and the directory with the same name. Click once on it, and tune the device upside down. It will switch it off.Not ON again.
You can link to it.

No options. no nothing! It does work on my TD 1
origin of g-off display
Beware! I am NOT the programmer. I don't know who is either. I just found it.
btw ChangeScreen has a "display off" option too.
worked on the tilt 2
it needs dot net compact framework 3.5 and then it loads on startup... closing the title bar that comes up doesn't seem to stop it from working. however, having said this, i can't say that perhaps the tilt 2 didn't have the behavior before i installed this... it took me a while to realize that upside down doesn't mean face down, which is what i had wanted. but having said that, turning it upside down works great because you can put it in your pocket upside down (which basically you might do anyway).
also, indeed, to get it back on, one has to push the power button. but that's good in case the device moves out of tolerance for downward position it won't be going on and off unintentionally--except that even after the screen is already off it will keep executing--i know this because it vibrates when the screen goes off as well, and if i take it out of upside down position and then put it back without turning screen on again, it will vibrate again. this said, walking with it in a pocket didn't seem to keep triggering it, so overall this is a really cool hack.
now for figuring out why my t2 doesn't turn its speakerphone on when placed face down during a call (i was thinking face down should always turn the screen off by way of proximity sensor--which does work on my device because during a call holding finger over ear speaker turns off the display--just doesn't turn speaker on). wait... just realized... if it did then it would have to assume that just putting it to the ear should turn on speaker. so, i'd say what we have here is a challenge... integrate the proximity sensing with the g-sensor to always turn off the display when face down on a flat, reasonably level surface-- and during a call turn on the speaker too.
if this can be done, then combined with the g-off existing functionality it'd be really sweet--i wouldn't have to turn it upside down _before_ placing it flat on a table while listening to music. and the proximity could help make it less worrysome to just automatically turn the screen back on when picked up.

sorry for the duplicate post above--tried to edit, then hit save by accident
edit... i just tried screenchange and it in theory seems to do exactly what i want, but in practice, with 2.78 and any sensitivity level and appropriate no light option checked, it turns off the display even if there is light (and lots of it to be sure). i hold the device upside down above my head and the display goes off. i'm not covering the proximity sensor. my proximity sensor does work when in a phone call. i tried rebooting. i think the proximity sensor may be off somehow on my device...maybe htc only wants it on in a phone call? i will have to see if screenchange will work right with the device in a phone call... further posts will go over with screenchange.
btw, regarding the forum... its annoying that my edit made a whole new post in the first place.
cool!!!thanks

[Q] Touch Screen problem

Hello, I had changed the glass touch screen my B92m because it was broken.
Everything went well except that I met a big problem with touch screen: it does not react as I did not disconnect the connector from coonector and immediately reconnects. (operation that takes half a second)
Having done this, it works well!
But as soon as the screen is put to sleep or I extinguishes the phone over reaction of the touch screen ...
POWER and HOME buttons still work, but the touch screen does not react.
Is there a driver or additional driver to install the ROM?
I do not understand where the problem is.
Could you help me?
Thank you in advance,
Terry
touch screen
Hi there. How did you resole your problem? Im also gising though that problem

Gionee Elife E7 32Gb Touch Screen strange problem

Hi ppl my E7 start giving a few toutch screen problems a few days ago. At fist it start unlocking the screen and opening apps and doing calls on its own when on my pocket what it never did before since i bought him months ago. The when i was playing heartstone the toutch screen become totaly crazy no leting me do any grab and drag options e clicking screen at randow :S After a few turn screen on/off it become ok again.. But after a few minutes it hapend again :S when form tha moment it was never the same.. sometimes stops from responding other can do the drag up action to unlock screen others cant drag items others it just starts clicking like crazy on screen on its own.. Had a few power on/off.. Problems continues.. Had a factory reset problem seem a little better but not much.. juxt stop clicking on its own now but cant do drag actions across full screen. Now i installed a toutch screen test app. Found that a part of the screen is not responding (or is responding really really bad like a dozen pixels only in a finger from top to buttom size area) in a paint test... the lenght of a finger.. from top to bottoum near the middle screen (Landscape mode). Cold it be a software issue on the rom ? i did installed some suspecius software (im rooted) a few times could it have damage the rom or the touch drivers or controls in a way the reseting it wont fix? could installing other rom fix it ? Could it be that the screen got out of calibration or something like that ? or its really an hardware issue ?
if its hardware is it cheaper just to exchance the touch screen since the screen doesnt have a single scrach? Or replacing the touch panel is the expansive part when screen breaks? Please any idea is welcome even if little help. Thx for any answer in advance and sorry for my bad english :S im Portuguese
