On the XDA2i, I've been having the small problem of running out of battey since i use it for phone calls.
But, unlike normal mobile phones, the XDA2i doesn't give audio warnings when low on battery, so i find that i end up with a dead phone when i need to make a call.
Is there any settings to enable audio warnings on low battery, or any good utilities which will allow this?
Thanks.
Have you tried Spb Pocket Plus?
It shows a battery meter on screen all the time.
You are also supposed to be able to change the settings in your phone at Alerts to warn you of low battery.
To answer the subject of this post: KBattery is a good, free battery charge monitor, I use it all the time. It sits in the menu bar at the top, where the clock is. Though if you have O2 Active installed, it has a battery monitor on the Today screen. But you've removed that already, haven't you?
As for audible alerts, I don't know how you would configure those. I tend to get a warning (text bubble tooltip style dialog and a two tone noise) from the phone when I reach 20% battery, and a bit later (I'm not sure what percentage of battery left triggers it) I am also warned when the battery is really low, I believe it's around 5%, and it cuts power to the SD card.
I've noticed that various functions shut down when battery runs low, but i dont seem to get any audio alerts. Now and then, the XDA can sit in my pocket for a few days so i might not open it up just to check on the battery level. Therefore, the battery gets drained and i would need to restore a backup.
If anyone knows how to access the setting to turn the audio warning on and off, please can you let me know.
Thanks
Here is a niceone indicator.

Should do the job.
I was wondering firstly if there was a way to turn off the annoying "battery low" messages which appear when the battery is under 20%.
Also, is there a way to use the SD and WLAN features when the battery is below 10% - perhaps a reg fix of some sort, as currently it doesnt allow me to use these features when the battery is below 10% which can be very inconvenient!
Thanks[/i]
Hi all,
One of the things that annoys me about the S200 is that the battery indicator, when charging, doesn't show the actual charge level (but instead, cycles through 20/40/60/80/100)
So, if I want to check the charge level of the phone, I have to disconnect, and then (if it is not charged enough), reconnect.
Is there any tweak that would get it to display actual charge? (All my previous WinMo phones - even going back 8 years - behaved this way)
Thanks

Batti
Check out this App. I use it and i love it. It shows a battery line and can show percentual state of battery.

Hi!
I'm trying this on Arto's 2.8 (Manila) ROM and it doesn't appear to do anything at all... are you using a Manila or non-Manila ROM?
Also, it isn't clear from the description if it will display battery level accurately while charging.. can u confirm it's behaviour?
BTW Arto's ROM already includes a mod to show battery to 1% accuracy (but while charging it only shows a charging icon - and battery settings cycles 20/40/60/80/100).
I think the issue is not in the displaying app, but some means to change how the phone reports the battery level to software (perhaps a reg mod or driver mod)

forgett this app
my mistake. batti only shows % steps. this means that the line is cutted in parts (like blocks). sorry no numerical display
Hi everyone!
My phone's battery meter shows always that the battery is below 20%. If I charge the battery using another phone it works fine and shows full. If this battery is placed on my phone it shows about 20%.
This prevents me from updating ROM (because the battery level is below 50% ). Is there any way to force updater to continue flashing, bypassing the low battery error?
P. S. There is a way to flash ROM through sd card (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=595552&page=10) but it is necessary a non-free program (QMAT/PPASS/REVSKILLS) .
Thank You !
