Hi,
I have bought a bluetooth headset, which works pretty well. However I want to disable bluetooth while I'm not calling.
Is there a possibility to enable bluetooth automatically, whenever I open the phone program (dialer). Connecting the two devices normally just takes a few seconds, so this would be really great, and a real power saving feature.
Search for "Csdevctrl" on this forum, it's a locking device app that has a enable/disable bluetooth during call feature. It's very good.

Hello,
i have a qtek 2020 1.75.00 WWE
My question is as follows:
Is it possible to have the headset mode set to "enabled" as soon as Bluetooth is switched on? At this moment, i have to go to the today screen to manually touch the headset icon to enable it. So even when bluetooth is active, i still can't use my headset immediately. When the phone rings i still have to go through the above mentiond manouvre, so by the time i have done that, the phone already stopped ringing.
So what i actually want is that the headset mode is either always enabled or that it gets enabled as soon as bt is active.
I hope you can help me.
Regards,
Ilana
Hi Ilana,
On my i-mate (XDA II) I run Pocket Bluetooth Tools (or BTHTools) which you'll find on XDA Developers if you search for it, and aside from adding additional profiles (such as the missing SPP - Serial Port Profile, which is needed to connect to Bluetooth GPS units), it also replaces the default Headset Profile app with an automatic one.
When the phone is activated by an incoming or outgoing call, the Bluetooth radio turns on automatically & I just tap the BT headset's answer button to transfer the call to the headset. When the call finishes the BT radio automatically turns off again after 60 seconds (thus saving battery power).
Give it a try - you can uninstall it to return to the default Microsoft BT stack if it doesn't ring your bell.
Lucas.
Thank you for your help. I will definitely give it a try!
Will this only turn on/off Bluetooth with an incoming call?
I want it to turn on/off Bluetooth for any situation when I stop/start something that needs it.
For example if BT is off, and I start ActiveSync on the XDA, BT starts automatically. But when I close AS, BT stays on.
I was hoping something like DKToday would help with this, but it only seems to work for calls.
tap the bluetooth icon and it turns bluetooth of, at least it does for me.
I have a N6P, rooted 6.0.1 with Xposed. I use MacroDroid to automate some processes. E.g. I have a macro that enables bluetooth whenever I leave the house and my phone disconnects from the home wifi network. In my car I use a Parrot CK3100 bluetooth voice kit. I want my phone to automatically connect to the kit whenever bluetooth on my phone is enabled and I start my engine (and the Parrot becomes powered). Whenever I switch on bluetooth manually and it is on for some time and I get into my car and start the engine, my phone connects to the Parrot without any problems.
I also have a macro which actions are that a sound is played and it vibrates whenever the phone connects to my Parrot. But whenever I leave my house, I can see that my bluetooth is enabled but when I get into my car and start the engine, I can hear the sound and feel the vibration of the MacroDroid macro, but the screen of the Parrot still shows the Parrot logo and not the name of my phone. So MacroDroid confirms that a connection has taken place (otherwise there wouldn't be any sound and vibration), but in fact the phone and Parrot are not connected. Going then into BT settings and trying to connect manually works in 50% of the cases.
I have also tried AutomateIT to get this working, but with the same outcome. And the app Bluetooth Auto Connect (to force the connection) didn't bring any luck either.
Because when enabling BT manually before I leave the house the connection succeeds and when using the macro it does not (neither in MacroDroid not in AutomateIT), I suspect that it may have something to do with the (short) time between the enabling of BT and the powering on of the Parrot, but I'm not sure.
Anyone any ideas?
Hi XDA
I'm using a K88H SmartWatch and a LG G3.
So I already installed the Mediatek App for notifications and a app called Sound about.
My problem is the following. Once I connected my phone the wanted behaviour is that when a call is incoming I want to see it on the SmartWatch but and can answer it there but the sound is coming from the phone. This already works so far. But once the call ended due to the second app my Bluetooth watch is disconnected as phone and only works as a media output device. So I have to reconnect the phone mode manually by pressing the phone button on the watch and reconnect it. But I would like to get it done automatically.
I set SoundAbout that for the phone call audio the phone app decides which sound device should be uses. And in the Bluetooth settings I put the phone call behaviour that the Bluetooth mono auto usage is deactivated. So once a call is made the phone switches from Bluetooth to normal phone as sound output.
So my question is how do I get my phone to use the Bluetooth device as phone again once the call has ended.
Or easier that the phone uses the earpiece for sound and doesnt disconnect the Bluetooth device.
Thanks in advance
Edit: I also tried Bluetooth auto connect app. It automatically disables Bluetooth when calling but only turns on Bluetooth automatically again once I open the app again. Maybe there is a setting that I haven't found that switches Bluetooth back on once the call ended.
I don't use any bluetooth apps, I just use the Bluetooth that came with the phone. When I am recording a video, it gets halted if a bluetooth devices connects or disconnects. It's very annoying. I know I can just turn bluetooth off but I am using a bluetooth wireless device to begin recording from a camera app. After a while, the remote goes to stand by mode and the notification comes up and the recording stops. Very annoying. Anyone know a solution?
