Samsung i900 Omnia + senosor lock - Windows Mobile Development and Hacking General

hey just wondering if anyone knew how to use the HTC sensor lock for the omnia ...ive tryed it and im getting an error message for the sensor but it has one???confused can someone help please..

You need HTC sensor emulators
Sensor lock is designed to detect the HTC sensors - not the omnia's sensors. A programmer over at modaco.com called Spelomanaic has written some dll files to interpret the Omnia sensors and output them in a format consistent with the HTC sensors. You just have to unzip the files and place them in your windows folder. It should work after that.

Motion Sensor from Samsung OMNIA

Can anyone extract it from OMNIA and create a cab file? I really am not good at it. From a dump Rom I see a MotionSensor.exe which is the settings app for it. I don't know whre the dll is or what dll I am looking for.
It would be great for us to have it other devices.
here is the link of the dumped rom:

I suppose ur device has motion sensor hardware

others say that the camera is the motion sensor itself. ive read it somewhere which is for WM7.
As far as I know, The camera CAN be used as a motion/accelerometer detector. But it uses too much battery to be practical, which is why I think it hasn't been done yet.
And as far as the Omnia, Diamond, Dream, And iPhone go. They use an accelerometer much like the ones you would find in a Wii Controller, As does the proposed features of Windows Mobile 7.

This link is broken is there another way to find this dump?
using camera for accelerometer would be funny...
1) 100% of your resources would go to the application that decodes the video stream and translates it as movement... would also be interesting how it would know ORIENTATION (what? see a person and see where his feet touch, triangulate -even that would be impossible without distance data- and that find "down"?)
2) it would work only where there is light?
hahahaha okok
...in any case I don't even get what the original request is...
Motion Sensor is HARDWARE not software to extract and use.

[REQ] Touch HD Camera Extracted CAB

Hey everybody i was wondering if its possible to get the TOUCH HD Camera cab.... because of its Touch Focus ofcourse
that would be amazing....also i was wondering if its possible to get 850 mhz without installing a new ROM...cuz i think the warranty with ROGERS is voided if i do rite?
what exactly is touch focus?
in Touch HD....u can click on sum1's face or any object and the camera will focus on it...instead of Touch Diamond's ,where it'll focus to what/whoever the middle cursor is on.
i knw touch HD has 5mp. and alot of possibility of it not being possible...but i thought i'd ask anyway just incase theres a production happening....or even a way to control the focus by swipe of a hand? ...
that would be really nice!!!!
i would really like to see this
i think it need to be coverted to VGA
there is no way it will start directly
so we hope someone do this
someone from HD forum try to run Sony X1 camera but it didnt work (both of them is WVGA)
now he trying to make it working
wow okay...so i guess thers that itty bitty chance it can work...thats GREATTTT
well i managed to run xperia camera on my raphael but due the screen is bigger i couldn't get all of the camera stuff on my screen so it has to be resized down to vga.. well and i couldn't access any menu on the camera.. think xperia has a dedicated camera button and it has to be keymapped to the Raphael.. diamond and raphael is very similar phones so i guess if anyone managed to convert the sizes it might work.. could anyone with blackstone try to extract the camerarunner.exe file i guess it would be and get the resources and language files for it?.. well or manage to share the blackstone camera files here..
oh ya this looks sweet i can test anythig you want i have 2 diamonds so it dont matter if one gets messed up
theres also another thing i mite ask....
is there a way to manually focus..is this impossible??
sumhow alter the VALUE of focus? or however that works...
cuz i know the diamond phone can focus on really close objects but it won't...during the "autofocus' process..i see my object clear and then it goes away...so thats also another bummer...
if sumhow we can control the focus manually that'll be crazieeee
hey just wanna add another thing...
is it possible to manually change the focus length??
if so...that'll be awesomee...

problem with new sensor sdk and htc album

Hi
i installed new sensor sdk and reg cab
after that i have problem with rotating in Htc album sometimes it doesn't rotate sometimes wrong rotate and sometimes it is ok.
i installed new htc album too and i have problem like old one
what should i do?
good question ;-)
i have the same after new sdk install.
pictures taken in landscape are not displayed in the thumbview correctly ( displayed as upright format )
also, rotating does work .. but .. will go back to upright format after a few seconds without moving the device.
would be great if someone can have a look into this and advise what we can do to fix this.
( diam300, hspl 1.93, radio 1.00.25.05, udk beta 5 ger and a lot of modifications made to the software ;-)
cheers
I found that new sensor sdk and htc album rotate picture according to picture size to best fit of screen.
can anyone else test it?

Sadly there is no G-Sensor on this phone.
Cheers
Hi,
I've heard that some application can use the "vibreur" as a G sensor.
There is perhaps a solution ?!?
G-Sensor Touch Cruise 09
I Own A Touch Cruise 09 And There Is An Inbuilt Game Which Uses The G-Sensor
What inbuilt game?
hjekyll1: Are you really sure? Because Iolite do not have G-sensor, so no game can use it. To me, your post looks like bull****...
Sorry For The Big Gap Inbetween Posts I Own A HTC Touch Cruise 09 With The 6.5 ROM And In The Games Folder There Is A Game Called Marbles IN The Windows Directory There Is A Motion Sensor DLL And Auto Rotation Does Work ! Although Any G-Sensor App I Have Tryed Hasn't Worked Just Marbles

REally pathetic if people get "angry" on a message board THATS DESIGNED TO ANSWER PEOPLES QUESTIONS!!
Seriously! if everyone JUST SEARCHED!! There would be no new questions to ask! and then there would no longer be a point of having this forum..
Ease up!!!
The amount of time it took you to write like a nazi you could of just answered the guys question

Never ever! Iolite haven´t a g-sensor. Maybe, that you have seen a Iolite-clone with g-sensor, but HTC T4242- Iolite - TC ´09 - XDA Guide never has a g-sensor.
Greetings
It doesn't

HTC Touch2 (Mega) - does it have gsensor?

Hi.
I try to determine are my HTC Touch2 have GSensor.
I run some app using g sensor and it seams that part of them not work and part of them run but do not react on phone move.
I'm afraid that this phone don't have this sensor
definetly no, it dosn't have g sensor
I've got the AT&T Touch2 and mine's showing it has a G-Sensor. Oh snap!
Looking at specs on HTC site, shows a g sensor
Additional Features
- Motion G-Sensor
- Ambient Light Sensor
- FM Radio
http://www.htc.com/us/product/attpure/specification.html
Wrong specifications, diffrent phone.
This is the Touch 2, and except for the AT&T version that might have a G-sensor, the other verions do not have a G-sensor.
Hey! It is NOT same device. Lot of the differents between Touch2 and AT&T Pure. Like Camera resolution, sensors, etc.
yep, Touch2 doesn't have gsensor
G-sensor is hidden in the bottom of 3.5 phone socket...
HTC didn't equip it to all models, therefore it lacks in most of specifications.
To verify how it works go here:

Change default value and try it

What key to insert and which value to change? Be a little more precise, please...
g sensor
how can i go there ??
I dont even have the setting
What key and value shall be used here??? Mine shows blank...
I'm confused. So HTC Touch 2 (not the AT&T ver.) does or doesn't have the G-Sensor?
I'm about to buy it, so it'd be nice to know.
Default , T3333 / MEGA / Touch2 DOES NOT HAVE G-SENSOR !
Please use SEARCH
it is more simple to search for an issue then to ask it all over again, so please try to search first !!!!

Cant agree more, there is a description all over the internet, NO G-SENSOR
Thread Closed
In fact it was joke prepared to 1APR
HTC Mega was assuming to have G-sensor but HTC decided to spare on Touches.
Mega has no G sensor. Quoted registry entry is supposed to be present at any WM phone.
