[REQ]HTC Album

Hi,
Anyone seen/got the new HTC Album program? Ive managed to get the keyboard and randomaccess (contacts upgrade) programs but cant find the album anywhere...
Shame - coz it looks well cool!

If you would be so kind as to post some screenies......

1. how do you import the registry settings?
2. where should the files be located? inside the windows directory?

anyone able to create a cab for this nice HTC Album?
just to be able to play with it, until someone makes a Wizard rom with the album included...as i don't have the time right now to cook my own rom

Finally!, JUVS has posted a .cab for the HTC Camera Album , in another forum. Just tested it, it's working fine .

Try installing it on Phone Memory instead of Storage.
Fixed it for me and now it's working.
I absolutely love this app!

but one question, when using it, do you guys see a white "Box" in the left corner of the screen (i know that when you touch in that box, you see the options for htc album) is it supposed to be like that?
another thing is that the sliding from picture to picture is just slightly difficult to do?
but thatmight just be my device, or maybe I need to setup the sensablility of the app.

How do i uninstall those cabs? they don't show up at the remove programs

you can't, it's a replacement of youtube include in rom like belite 0.99b
it crash at high speed, but now it work, I hope.
if you really want to remove it and back to your rom version, just HardReset your soft

he wants to kno if it will work with the HTC Wizard. i would also like to kno if this works on the Apache and the HTC Touch.

I tried on my mogul. It starts up then shuts down by itself every time and no it's not uninstallable. You'll have to hard reset . . .

In fact, first, lauch youtube,
then close it
next run the 1er(1st) package
is the VGA version ! probably suitable for touch and low resolution screen, wizard one one course ...
if you have a pro version (qvga screen), install the second pack, it will replace all file by high resolution one
after installing 1st, and 2nd (eventually), so reboot and try again

yea i just tried this program on my apache. it starts up, but it doesnt close as long as u have 8mb of "Storage" memory available. it seems to be for VGA device only because some of the icons appear to be way too large for qvga screen and some of the objects on the screen also seem to be very off centered and misplaced.

has anyone tried porting this for qvga devices such as the kaiser? i am willing to try, but wanted to see if anyone has tried already, as i do not want to duplicate your efforts

Installing only htc Album in xperia, not with manila

I love my xperia except that the album in the multimedia panels is not very user friendly. I miss the Album programme in my touch diamond. Is there any chance that I could only install the htc Album from touch HD to xperia? I don't want to install manila or 3Dtouchflo as they may take up much memory.
I've tried installing the Touch-IT Blackstone Album cab from the #2 post of this thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=442154. The programme was installed but i couldn't find any icon to start it.

i have installed HTC Album v2.0.1815.2532.cab from your signature. Seems that it's for qvga screen. It only fits into 1/4 of my screen and the menu bar goes to the wrong place.
Did I install the wrong file or I miss anything? Or there's any other ways to do it?

Gyrator 2 - many problems!

I'm new on this forum so I'm really sorry if this Thread is already but after read many topics I didn't find fix of my problems. Firstable... I saw demonstration G2 on the gyrator website and film present that the programs, app and other function of DIAMOND rotate very fast- in my HTC it's not so pretty. I configurated app with many instructions. Everything is done SMS\MMS is rotate but very slow. When I rotate my phone to reverse-landscape LCD rotate but when I return to Portrait application rotate after few few seconds- in demonstration film its one maybe two seconds. Maybe somebody know how autor of the film do this and why this APP doesn't work fast on my own HTC. I;ve got original ROM from polish ERA MOBILE and I tried calibrate G Sensor

Zoom function with Manila 2.5 and WM6.5

Hi
I recently flashed my HD with the german BlackDragon Rom and i have to say i love the new HTC Sense.
But there is one question left. how does the Zoom work in manila 2.5 on the Touch HD.
Is there the only way to zoom by doubleclicking on the touchscreen? (but that works only one time and so it is useless if you need a higher enlagement)
The clockwise rotation with the finger on the screen (TF3D) does not work any more and there are also no zoom-bars to enlage the picture.
Does the zoom work in other ROMs (the few i tested had all the same problem)?
Or are there additional programs that i can install?
Am i the only one with this problem because i can´t find any solutions for this problem.

I believe that this is how the latest manila is designed. The clockwise action was only available on early roms and is no longer supported (and i'm almost sure it can't be installed either).
If you have this problem only with album photos ('cause web browser has a zoom bar) i suggest you try and find another picture viewer like resco viewer or some other that includes zoom.

I think that only happend because the cheefs uses the manela / Sense based on topaz and rohdum and leo and all these hade its hardwear zoom bar
so the manela and sense do not have the soft wear zoom bar

You could try to find an old version of HTC album which still has the old way of zooming in

Hmmm, I think I should cook me an old album in my rom.
Could be intresting. Will report back with my findings if it worked.
