are there any fun games for pocket pc? like full screen ones.
One of my favourite games is flux challenge. There are many versions of this game. My only problem is that you can't rotate the screen in the game, but fortunately you can download a portrait or landscape version of the game.

I was wondering if mamece3 (http://www.mameworld.net/mamece3/) would work on the wing too? Has anyone tired it or knows if its incompatible? I noticed it said it was for WinCE pocket pcs but i don't know if that means it wont work on wm6.

I know I've seen SOME morrowind mobile game.
and upon this thred, I dove to torrents to find answers. I downloaded about 1000 ppc games, lol, i dont know if i'll ever get them all tried!

Can't believe I forgot about worms. And the great thing about it is that you and a friend can both play at the same time in this turn based game...alot better for pc or psp...
I wish they didn't leave out as much weapons as they did...really liked the vase and super sheep, and the moles were pretty cool too.
I've seen the program beer on the internet for the iphone. its a app that simulate a full beer glass (see video link),
there is also another program for the nokia n95 called pypiwo that's simulating a beer to and many other drinks.
I thinks it's a very nice idea for a new app for the diamond .
it's not a very difficult concept, the only hard part is the graphical stuff(i think don't have much experience on making programs and graphical stuff ).
i'd love to make this app by my self but i don't have the knowledge for it (any tips/lecture for learning how to make this apps for the diamond is always welcome: D)
but to the point this thread is for your thoughts about this and to find someone to make this

the guitar programm would be useless for the diamond cause it dont hase multitouch.

svenss there is no ibeer app for the iphone, its just a lame trick, its just a pre-recorded video of bear, and what you do is sync the video on your iphone through itunes and then its all about timing, you just have to remember when the bear poures out, you run the video using the iphone and tilt it just at the right time, it does not make use of the g-sensor/accelerometer at all, its just a simple stupid video.
But im sure an app can be developed that can trully utilise the g-sensor but that would be a waste of time for developers as it would only be amusing for a day or two, your better of just downloading the video, convert it to something windows mobile can play.
no offence but i think that there are many better ideas than this

It's easier to carry an iphone than a guitar...
You guys complain about a beer app being useless, but what use is something as a Lightsaber app? Though that gets praised sky high! I think it's a funny idea, shows off the accelerometer of te Diamond which is bloody accurate and perfect for this stuff. Would love to make an app like that, if only I had ANY knowledge of programming

This >does< exist on the N95 and unlike the iPhone, works with the acc. meter.
I had it myself before trading it for the Diamond and had that software installed on the phone.
It was pretty accurate in the way I lifted it, the beer would move.
While it is a "waste" - I think it's a nice gimmick to have on the phone, whether its to show off or just some entertainment - like any other game that would be on it
I would love a beer program. That would be AWESOME to show off with at a party!
That could be a good learning app, maybe in a few weeks when I get my Pro I could try writing it.

i will make it for you guys but it wont look that pritty at least to start off as i dont have much time for it right now (work/uni) expect it in 1-2 weeks
im also making a Flow type game and i have already made 2 testing apps (a ball simulator using the g-sen and a magic 8 ball app where you can shake the diamond)
please donate as then i can mabey work a few less hours and actually make the apps im makeing a bit better cos ill have a bit more time..

So earlier today I was in math class and the kid next to me has an iphone 4. he starts bragging about his retina display (LOL) and how his graphics are so far ahead of the Vibrants. This is my question: The iphone has games with amazing graphics--and as far as I know, there are zero games on the android market that are as smooth and crisp looking. I know my display is better and I want to be able to show him so he can stop bragging to everyone on campus about how he has the best phone available. So do you guys know of any games that will show off the Vibrants glorious screen?
The Dungeon Defenders: First Wave game is built on the Unreal engine, the same one that makes some of those cool games on there. That's probably your best bet.
Dungeon Defenders or Raging Thunder 2.

Dungeon Defenders and GT Racing Academy (not in the market, you have to get it from Gamefly) are probably the 2 best looking games on my Vibrant.

yea i wanted to show him Avatar since it looks beyond AMAZING on the Vibrant but I have upgraded to 2.2 via kies so Avatar is not currently working on my phone.
I will take a look at all of these games and purchase a few of them. Thanks to all of you who have helped. Other suggestions will be appreciated as well!

i would just beeat him up and show him which phone is better but i assume u dont want to get kicked out of class ;p and next time he brags just rotate your phone while on desktop u know it will rotate 90 deg which i phone dont do lol and assk him if his phone can do that ! and get lcd density changer u can change resolution of your screen yo

i checked the market for lcd density changer and it says that it doesnt exist on the market. and what do you mean by "rotate your phone while on desktop"? Do you mean I should open an app that will rotate my phones orientation?

i have froyo but my phones not rotating on its own. LCD density changer is not showing up in my market... thats wierd.
and once ginger is ported to vibrant i hope this phone will eat iphone alive in every aspect ....i hope so i also think that vibrant specs are better thn iphony but i might be wrong lol

settings - display - auto rotate screen or just pull down status bar and its last thing on right for auto rotation 0_o? u got to be on 2.1 eclair if u dont have rotation buddy
lets make it clear u have the official samsung vibrant froyo rioght ?
if u are on 2.1 eclair your phone is only good as a mp3 player , dont even take it out in class room P
I'd stop worrying so much about what other people think and enjoy your phone.
Save the competitive genes for arguments that will still be relevent a year from now.

yes. downloaded last week from kies. i checked the 'About Phone' and it says 2.2 firmware and the build is froyo.uvka6. EDIT: I turned off auto rotation and then turned it back on. it now works. thanks for the help.

i respect your opinion but I completely disagree with it.
oh forgot to mention download launcher pro lol its a launcher easy on your battery and it makes your desktop rotate and u can put your custom icons on desktop which is nice if u like to make your phione flashy but im nit suggestin anything lol

now on the serious side... I think he refers to the D-Pad or the touch pads...on the XPERIA PLAY, because it doesn't have a Joystick, like all of the males do.
Or maybe some company has produced clip on joysticks for the play, kind of like they did with the Gameboy, and he's got some and now we all look like tools?!
I mod my joystick with astroglide. Play with it for hours.

Age of Zombies uses them perfectly.
MC3 does any one else feel like the run should be L and aim should be dpad up instead of the other wqy around
I agree that run should be something else but aiming has to be L. Running could be triangle and dpad up enable kill streak.

I got over 300 kills so far and only 1 death in multiplayer. Controls could be worse, ask the guy whos thumb was in the way while i shot him in the face 50 times.

I feel like they could've made it like shadow guardian where circle is run(and with that said, I'm happy as hell to see that it aims nothing like shadow guardian). I'm actually kinda getting used to up though.

Interestingly , we're the ones with a disadvantage , in a way.
Its like the mouse v analog issue, they can turn faster and aim more accurately whereas we can aim more precisely,
Then the fact that we have a clear screen kinda dissolves it ,
