I was thinking we could have a thread to share brn. icons for 6 side app. and 3 side app.

sure, i made a bunch i just have to zip them and make some gif previews and ill post

Hey Guys.. I myself own a Telus Branded HTC CDMA Touch... But since the Vogue message board wasnt open when I started it I dont think I just made my own icons thread in there. You can download all the icons that have been posted so far here:

oh yea, forgot to add - i have made these for each spot ont he cube, so lets say u want you IM icon to be the top it would be names IM_top and for when it is pressed it would be IM_top_press. and if you wanted middle, it would be IM_mid and IM_mid_press, and for bottom IM_bot and IM_bot_press... so you can fully customize where you want your apps.

For Goosync - for some reason I cannot open the zip file - i get the message saying "the file is either invalid or corrupted".

Can anyone point me to a howto on creating brn icons, etc.? Any tutorials out there?

i'm just trying to create my own icons as well ..... e.g. for ICQ.
the theory works quite well, I use photoshop psd file in which clean backgrounds for all icon positions and HL icon is ... I then edit some icon as a new layer over it, save it as 24bit bmp and use bmp2brn to transform it to brn format.
the problem now is is that though the icon is displayed correctly and the background is flawless as well, the actual icon becomes very poor quality.
how to work around this? as the icon is 119x105 pixels for the standart 2x3 app page, my overlay iconlayer has to be around 50x60 pixels to fit over the shadow. for this i have to recalculate its resolution which lowes quality of course but it still looks ok in photoshop .... the bmp2brn tool seems to mirror the image in some way and hence screws its quality.
Anything known about this ?
If desired i'll up some images illustrating how the brn looks liks after reconverting it to bmp again ...

I'm using the Wireless Today Switch, which I think is fantastic, so thank you for the effort that went into making it. I have disabled the background by removing the line in the xml and the background png. I think it is line three. Anyway, one think I have noticed is that when you press and hold the phone button, whether the phone is on or not, the bottom option in the context menu is always "Turn off phone". The functionality works, i.e. it does switch the phone on when it's off, but the text is wrong. I'll have a look at it later myself but do you know an easy solution to this? I'll post the no background edit with a screen shot later today.

The single thing I did is the XML and the graphics, the other functions are Batterystatus's. So is this little bug

It's TodayAgenda. The great thing with this plugin, is that you can set a fix size... Set it to 62 and it's perfect

iPhone Theme/No WiFi (Perfect for HTC Touch)
Sorry for resurrecting such an old thread, but this seemed as appropriate a place as any to post this.
Though skinning and such is not my usual forte, I put enough work into this that it's only fair to share. This app was exactly what I was looking for when I decided I wanted a bluetooth on/off switch on my today screen... but, I really wanted it to match my iPhone icons. The result is attached. I've eliminated the wifi toggle since my HTC Touch has no wifi.

I've also made a Digital (Sprint) Clock and a Analog Clock.

Clock and slider and lower icons seems less whitish, but hte TF3D big icons seem still white - not changed?
I think it might be easier to show pre and post difference (not only clock but "mensen" for example)

I did not change any icon on this theme. (so you can use your own)
I only have made a new slider, now it's fully transparant. It's not showing any icon on top of it. (only under)
And i've made the bottom bar and b.g bricks transparant. Thats all.

We always wanted to get rid of Diamond blackness and you are giving us a piece of black hole But it looks really great. Im considering downloading it. Much better would be to reverse the colors. White would be the base and then use some colors on the icons...

After installing the bottom bar and slider my htc is acting really strange. I have soft reset it three times. It doesnt allow me to type in my pin password and doesnt even load touchflo3d

Same on this side, touchflo will not start anymore, after removing this it is back to normal. Hope there will be any solution.
By the way, the problem is couse the tranparant slider. The transparant bottembar is working fine.

Maybe some people are having manilla build issues I have 1.2.34837.3_1813.6 at the bottom of my settings tab and the slider is great for me. I have Dutty's 2.2 rom (great).

Just installed the transparent bottom bar .cab on my TouchPro to add to over a dozen other Manilla mods... works really well.....!

make a wallpaper on size 240x240
take the backgroundAlltab from Nisse and unzip on pc (not the Mun_rus version.)
load the 4a087e41_manila with manila Editor replace the image with the one you made in size 240x240
and now put the 4a087e41_manila and 5c9aa261_manila in Windows on your phone
restart phone or TF3D
done

This is exactly the theme where i've been waiting for to have some extra's for my phone.
I was wondering how to fix the analog clock.
I would like to have all (at the topbar) icons also in gold. I've got the speaker and battery indicator in gold, but that's it.
I would like to have the reception meter in gold and the active sync.
Does anyone have that already?

Could you please PM your analog clock in gold?
Because i have downloaded the 3 files and there's no clock inside, or i should fix it in my settings but i forgot how to switch the digital to analog.
I'll post the theme icons now.

I have a SEX1 with the Touch 3D as a Panel.
I cannot install those cab files cuz it doesnt work that way.
Instead I need the Layout files which i can replace
(for example these http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=402124). Do you guys have these files?? If so pls can u post them.
Or if there is another way to solve this i would really appreciate it if u let me know.

For all who do not feel comfortable to just copy and overwrite files, simply rename the .ZIP into .THEME and apply using the customizer.
Only issue (and that's one a lot of people fight with) is that an applied wallpaper does not appear under all tabs, just at the home tab*. Not a big deal for me because everything else is plain f-ing beautiful!

There are some apps which suppose to enable "background in all tabs" but I wrecked my Manila once with it and don't want to be the first one again. If one wants to try and post here you're more than welcome - LOL

great theme how do you put it in english and on a regular clock not 24 hr

If there is a capital H or HH it's 24 hours
Small h or hh is 12 hours with AM / PM and leading zero (hh) or not (h)
BTW for some of us 24 h clocks are just regular - LOL

MaTT, good point, I forgot to copy mine into the windows dir after flashing the last time. BTW muns02 CAB works to get "background in all tabs"

n1 TAB icons what do you mean with this?
The top icon bar is Carneros patched Task bar and what you see to the left is WKTask1200a.
After playing with your skin I do have two questions:
Though I don't run the default background (the bluish waves polar lights kinda style), I've seen ONCE that same background but in a redish style after initial install. Couldn't find it anywhere on my device!?!
Any chance that you make a CAB out of your clock. I'm afraid changing to my black clock and do a full reinstall to go back to the transparent one.
If you can tell me which manila files represent the clock I may be able to do it myself.

i'm also zealous of this beautiful taskbar, great work from the developer! but on my diamond there are still the standard icons for "start" and the antenna (which represents the signal strenght), tough i have installed the sdkcerts cab. can anyone help me? (i'm using original german rom 1.93.407.1).

You need sdkcerts (guess you have this already) and the icon set you want.
They float around in the forum (there are 100s), the ones in my screenshot are called Carnero_s_Patched_TaskBar

Very nice theme tried it out and I like... However I'd have to disagree with the above statement (beauty is in the eye of the beholder)
Carnero's looks much nicer.... and suits your theme better then the other would.
