thanks for the info.
so is there no rom for the Prophet that supports the bluetooth pan profile?
or bluetooth driver updates or a another way it can be done it can be done?
i am also having problems using active sync with my bluetooth cant seem to get it right i am still reeding some of the posts here hope fully i can sort this out soon.
It is available in AKU3.2 ROMs and I use it successfully in my car PC.
PDAMobiz_Prophet_WM5AKU3.2_v3231.exe
is this the right one ?
That one and any of the 3.2 ROMs. But note that there are problems with these ROMs including the problem that the phone won't charge over USB (you have to use the main plug-in charger).
Good luck with it.
Tried one and the phone got stuck on the boot Screen just loaded the RUU_Prophet_2090724_20907106_020720_QtekWWE_Ship.exe againe and i will try the other one againe now. Hope i get this sorted out LOL with out making a brick out of my Prophet.
GR8 the update is installed and now lets see what works and what does not work ...

Hi, I checked it again last night. I am using the AKU3.3 now, and this works too. My Bluetooth adaptor is a Belkin USB model and I am using the latest Widcomm 5.xxx.xxx drivers.
I start by using the Internet Sharing program on the Prophet, select Bluetooth PAN, the correct GPRS profile (in my case Orange Internet) and connect. Then I connect the PC using Bluetooth to the Bluetooth LAN on the Prophet.
Hope you can get it to work for you, but it may be also dependent on using a suitable Bluetooth stack in Windows.
The Widcomm drivers don't seem to work with my blue tooth adapter. so i have to use BlueSolei, or the windows drivers. the other thing is i wanted my Prophet to use my home networks internet witch is exactly the opposite of what you did in the above post, what i learned is that your bluetooth drivers must support the hosting side of the connection. The Widcomm drivers do support it but i just cant get them to work with the bluetooth device i have.
it looks like i have to buy a new bluetooth adapter if i want to get it to work....
or see if i can get the Widcomm drivers to work with my adapter.
any other way i can do this ?
Hi. Could someone confirms that Bluesoleil drivers runs ok in S200? Thanks and regards.
Hi all,
Just upgraded myself from a Wizard to a Hermes and am mostly happy, I used the crack program to unlock it from T Mobile and upgraded it to WM 6.0.
Mostly it is great, I just have two problems at the moment,
1. I am able to pair any bluetooth device, but when I try and talk with my BT headset ( WEP200) all I get is white noise, it worked fine with the Wizard.
2. I have paired my GPS unit ( also worked OK before) but I do not know how to make it recognizable by the software ( i-go) I have tried using the 'External GPS' feature but nothing, any help would be great.
THanks
same problem for
i try with 2 different bt headset
any idea to fix?
Hi, Ive recently bought another xda 2, the O2 version.. i had one before but this time i cant get it to recognise the GPS, i have set it to other bluetooth GPS, and this is set as BT on COM6, it setup as a SPP when i added the bluetooth device.

I was given a ipaq hx2490b and it is now happily running windows 6.5.3.
But it still has a problem. My first ipaq was a 5555 series model and to get it to detect bluetooth devices I had to search out a hotfix, after this it ran quite well for it's entire life. This new device has the same problem, you can scan for hours but it will never find a bluetooth device. If you try to find the ipaq it will show up under search but won't connect or pair. I have looked for a hotfix but can not find one, this device is of little use to me if it can't find the bluetooth gps as the reason for having it is to run a gps map. Help please.
oops ignore me!
