Search not working? - Wing, P4350 General

Right so I went into the herald forums and tried to search for extract .nb files no luck, so i tried .nb files and nothing. Then I searched .nbh files and nothing. Now I know there is mention of .nbh files so is the search not working or am I doing something wrong? Click on search type .nbh and hit enter. Don't know how I could get that wrong. And yes I searched topics and threads.
***EDIT 3/30/2009: Anyone at all? No one has had problems with this? No one has a comment?***

nbf file

Okay, I've spent 2 hours trying to obtain this information and am almost giving up.
Where do I obtain my nbf file? I want to change my splash screen but this is proving to be the most obscenely complicated thing I've ever done.
Could anyone post thier T-mobile 2.26 nbf file for me?
search in the Upgrading etc. forum for Wizard, "Cooked Custom Rom How to"
I found that thread and it alreeady assumes you know how to obtain and nbf file. One person gave a link on the ftp for a ROM dump utility and the ftp says that it doesn't allow anonomous logins. I included my user name and password but it wouldn't accept it. Why is this so complicated?
Could someone please tell me how to obtain this file? It's making me crazy.
Rename the RUU exe file to a rar file and open it, the nk.nbf file is there.Or just run the RUU (but don't click anything) and search your pc for nk.nbf and copy it to a safe location then cancel the Updater.
Thank you so much. In this forum, I read that I was supposed to change it to a zip, which didn't work, this did though.
I would suggest you move any questions regarding this to the Upgrading Forum. That's where you'll get more assistance.

Extract files from WM6.1 Emulator images

Hi
I couldn't find answer at the forum in existing posts so I'm asking about it here.
I need to extract files from WM6.1 Emulator image file, e.g. PPC_USA.bin.
I can extract file system from .nbh files (e.g. XPERIA ROM), but when I try to do same steps for PPC_USA.bin, tool says, that there's no boot sector. I can't figure out what is .bin: is it .nbh, .nb or .bin which we usually get when it's extracted from .nb?
Thank you.
Greg
Copy the bin file into the root of this directory, and run prepit

Thank you so much.
next time, ask your questions in the Questions & Answers section.
thanks.
(and again, DONT answer questions here!)

Click to collapse
Change the .exe extension to .rar and then you can extract the files.
Actually, I think if you have WinRAR installed on your PC you can just right click on the file and extract it without changing the file extension.
