How do i make my phone camera-able?
my answer was "go buy a camera and duct tape it to your phone"
maybe the answer for you guys more or less the same... just duct tape your mobile phone to your shift...
hope it works... cheers
(seriously... i still couldn't figure it out my self on how to make a call from shift)
I got mine to make/receive calls. On a shift 9501 using the rom and radio here:

Hi,
on my htc wizard the internal speaker (for phone) and microphone stopped working. if i connect the headset it works, i can use the phone with it and talk to people. if i disconnect the headset, i cannot hear anything and the communication partner does not hear me. might this be a software issue or is a hardware problem more likely?
i think it might be the jack for the headset, since the display still works and all connections are established using one cable between the parts of the phone. And it is rather unlikely that the speaker and the microphone break at the same time. am i correct in assuming the same logic/amplifier circuit is used for the headset jack and the internel microphone/speakers?
disregard that, after penetrating the headset jack with a needle it works again...
Wizard
Ok, now I have been reading and reading on how to flash the HTC Wizard aka 8125's and I got everything but what I really don't know is...does the sims card need to be in the phone and am I looking to write a unlock code down when and if I see one. I have tried to flash my phone three times and I still can not do it. Even though I am reading the ever detailed and fully understandable directions, I am missing something. Can someone tell what it is?
I just got the Cect P168+ iphone clone (I do not like it) and I really really want to stay with my smartphone and I really want the rom flashed and upgraded, please help me. Someone may even eme to my personal email ([email protected]) if this needs to be done away from this site.
Thanks so much.

I used to use MSVC 1.6 on the Tytn2 on WM6.5 (see sig) and the confirmation notifications when you called someone always used the bluetooth headset. Since running it on the Leo MSVC seems to use the loudspeaker on the handset instead of the bluetooth headset even though every setting is marked as "Announce notifications using Bluetooth hands free only"
Anyone else having this issue as I did a search and couldn't find anyone.
Edit: Just had it working once but then the other end couldn't hear me when the call connected. Then I tried again and it had reverted back to not working.
I went to Bluetooth settings, Advanced, Audio and ticked the box then rebooted the phone...
I have this same problem! Its annoying... you want to make a call and the prompts/confirmation come from the phone... Please, can someone figure this out?

IT isn't... I have done more research..
The Leo (and the TouchPro2) use a Widcomm BT stack as opposed to the usual MS stack. Sadly, this means the BT won't play nice with a lot of different apps/equipment. This isn't something that can be swapped out easily as NRG has pointed out. Touch Pro 2 users are still facing the same problems even though that phone was released much earlier. Some however have reported some success when using certain custom ROMS... how its working with some ROMS and not others is still a mystery it seems
I would watch the ROM Development thread carefully to see if a ROM what works with our MSVC shows up....
Hello,
Is there a workaround... ?
Thanks in advance for any info,
Jean-Jacques
I have the same problem. I'm using an old phone when I need to use hands-free. After spending a lot of money on my HD2, I'm not impressed.
I there a particular combination of headset and software that does work, especially for voice dialing?
have you tried this?
I would, but I don't know if I even have voice command on my phone.

Workaround
Hi,
for this following workaround seems the only way to get it runnin:
My BT-Headset has the ability to be set as a Stereo-Device. When I establish a connection to this Stereo-Device, I can use it (my BT Headset) to give Commands and recieve "answers" from the VC. In case I want to start a phone-Call, my headset changes the connection automatically from "Stereo-Device" to "Handsfree-Device" and back, after finishing the Call.
This may be the Reason, why someone here already got it running with a BT-Stereo-Headset.?
Sorry for my bad english...
For anyone who is interested i have a sony mw600 bluetooth headset which i have tried with different platforms on the HD2 with varying success.
However i now have wp7 mango installed and it works almost perfectly with the headset and is even showing the song titles.
Only issue i find is that sometimes when you use voice command it will call the number but not transfer the audio to the headset - but you can then transfer in call by just pressing the call button
mango seems to be running really well on the hd2 now.
many thanks to all the developers and everyone on this site
Hi redsufi!
In the matter of fact I am very interested that you have the MW600. Your timing also was perfect. I know it's a bit hassle but I wonder if you could help me with any of these things concerning the MW600?

Hello!
To those of you with the MW600 here, I have a couple questions to you:
1) Can you use this as a microphone only device for let's say Skype and other voice communication programs (Ventrilo etc)? Meaning you wouldn't have any earbuds/headset plugged in the MW600 but only use its built in bluetooth microphone and listen through other (wireless) headphones that are plugged straight into the PC?
In other words: does the MW600 work as a microphone without having anything plugged into it? Could someone please test that? I would love to have a wireless mic on my shirt somewhere.
2) How good is the range inside a normal house? Does a single wall block almost all of it or can you wander around many rooms?
3) It was somewhat covered here but would you recommend it for its microphone quality or are there better ones around?
4) I realize this isn't under the Galaxy Tab section, but has anyone tried this device with that? How was it?
Thanks a lot in advance!

Hi there
I dont really use skype as its not available with windows phone 7 yet but with normal voice calls you can use the microphone wihtout the headphones attached so don't see that it would be a problem.
The range i think is 10metres and its fine through walls only when you get to the limit it just cuts off -
i find the quality of the mic and with listening to music is great
regarding the galaxy tab dont have one of these so you could try googling it
its a sony product so usually would only have full suppport of all the features with another sony product but all the functions work fine with wp7 on hd2 as well as wm6.5 - there were some issues wiht various android and nodo builds.
Alright, sounds good. Those helped a ton, thank you very much for the information!
Enjoy your MW600. I will soon probably too.
Works great with the Galaxy tab
Caller ID on WP7?
I have one(i.e. MW600)...It didn't display caller ID with WP7...rest is good ... does anybody know any fix or am I missing something.
I tried
DFT ,
elMInStER.blackSideSeven.1.12.7401,
BOYPPC-SHIFTPDA-Build 7.0.7392.0 -V5 , to name a few.
Hi everyone,
I just got a brand new Google Nexus 4 device, and I found out that when I talk on the phone, other side can't hear me.
If I switch to speaker, other side hear me loud and clear.
If I talk with headset, the other side hear me loud and clear.
If I talk using VoIP applications such as Skype and Viber, other side can hear me just fine without any need to switch to speaker.
I tried to reset to manufactur settings - didn't help.
I tried to talk using the headset and then switch it off - didn't help.
I tried to change settings of volume using SoundAbout application - didn't help.
I tried to switch to another network sim - didn't help (I also put my sim in another Nexus 4 I have, and it worked fine on the other deviec).
The microphone is working well, as I can talk using the speaker and also I can talk regular using VoIP applications - meaning it doesn't look like a hardware issue.
I didn't rooted my device.
It is brand new.
Android 4.2.2.
I'm from Israel and working on Hot Mobile network.
Any help will be much appreciated as I don't know what else I can do in order to fix this issue.
I need to be able to talk using my phone
Please help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Please help!!! Does any one know how to assist me?

I have the same problem....
I would recommend flashing the factory images in fastboot. There are guides out there that will help you through the process. My thought is that you somehow might not have the appropriate baseband for 4.2.2. Could you go to Settings>About phone and tell us what baseband you have?
Sent from my Nexus 4 using Tapatalk 2
hope im not too lazy that i didnt found that im looking.
just wondering have any one that have found a way to enable voice call on their TPT?
i just wanna slot in a sim card & start voice call by using a bluetooth headset just like the HTC flyers.
