Want to buy my 1 day old Black Xperia ?

I finally got my HAD TO HAVE IT NOW Xperia - going to sell it .. Haven't even put it in my purse or taken it out of the house. My eyes are older than I am apparently and with the super great resolution everything is too small for me to read .. gotta whip out my magnifying glasses to use it ..I put it up for 1 day on eBay - but I will end the listing - if I can - if someone here wants it...

I think that [and this is just a guess] that black is more common. Not because silver is hard to get and there are many black ones available but because silver [in my opinion] doesn't look as good as the black because of the black keys. I would prefer the silver one if it weren't for the black keys.

I listed it for $825 .. I paid more. But then, I am in the U.S.A. and we always get the shaft when it comes to cool phones .. Basically I paid $75 to play with it for a day. IT WAS WORTH IT THOUGH !!! If I could see the screen I would FOR SURE keep it.

I you go to settings-system-display-textsize and change it to one step bigger and install HTC enlargestartmenu - is it then not big enough for your old eyes ?

Speaking of phones with wonderful revolution, anyone see the T*Omnia that's coming out? An Omnia with 800x480 resolution... That'd be something to consider. Not to go too far off topic, but I just saw it on Engadget.

Yes it's looks very nice, and with HSPA! Except Korea's UMTS networks are only 2100mhz, so Stateside you might be stuck with just EDGE unless Samsung just happens to make it multi-band.

The version listed on Engadget is Korean only, you wont see anything that will properly work in the USA. The Omnia is going to be released soon, sans- WVGA resolution and Tv tuner..

go to settings then screen
and then from screen go to text size
and you should be able to increase the text from that tab
it's at the bottom to the far left
also could enable cleartype which would make the text more clear

Fuze Back Shell Replacement

Has anyone ran into anyplace where you can purchase the HTC Raph back shell cover?
I heard it isn't as glossy/fingerprint magnet as the Euro version.. more rubberized.
www.cnn.cn doesn't have anything listed, not even a TP.

take a piece of sandpaper and remove that shine.

It's exactly what it says it is. A battery cover. A pouch for an extra battery.

Still, $33 is a lot of money for rubberized plastic, especially if I'm not even 100% certain it'll fit. And I want to see an accurate picture before I plunk money down.

My TP has rubberized back. Bought in Norway.

My Touch pro is completly rubberised, no shine or gloss at all on the back and it's the EU model, bought in the UK

I forgot to mention that I have the Fuze

All that someone needs to do is see if the European Touch Pro cover fits the US AT&T Fuze.
Doesn't anyone have access to both phones to test this???
(Interesting...This is my first post and I've been a member since April 2006....I'm always in here reading and I just never thought to ask anything before...weird because I post all the time over at HoFo).

if someone has a dremel tool, maybe u can fine sand it, and leave the triangle that says HTC and around the camera/flash untouched, make a rectangle shape around the autofocus text, then take it to the mall to one of those dog tag kiosk that can itch your name or logo on the back like laser itch, i think that will look cool...
while ur at it itch ur e-mail/contact info on the inside of the cover in case it gets lost!!

Found This case on ebay, think i can just use the back part on my fuse?

I saw the one on ebay too, but how come there is a big triangular hole where the camera is? How are you supposed to cover that or is it just left open?

I believe they want you to transfer it from your existing hardware... But, with my luck I would screw it up and not have a battery cover at all.

I don't think they sell Dev backplates =/

That goes over the battery cover? or "is" the battery cover?
either way ebay seems to be the place to go for that kind of think, if it exists its on ebay

However, a user on the forums made some really cool laser etched backs with this design.

For the price you'll also get the front cover (which is hard to replace). However you'll also get the chrome piece which will scratch in time too I assume..

No, there are only full housings, but at 30 euros a set it isn't that expensive.
You can't change your black X10 to a white one with only this cover. The area around your touchscreen is black where the white one has a white area. So you'll either get a Panda looking X10 or you have to buy a completely new screen/digitizer.

LOL, PANDA )))) I really wanted do try this panda look because I dont want to have phone like everybody and I think that it would look cool But with whole housing I dont know who is willing to change it for me and if I do it myself then I will void my warranty. So I really wanted to make it 2 colors With this whole housing I would get white phone, like original right ? Is it hard to swap housing ?

No one wants black one since white is VERY rare, both of our operators are offering only black one and then you can imagine how bad I want white one I will look at this guide but I doubt that I will do this, it is very hard.

On nearly everyone of the e-bay covers there is not the sonyericsson and xperia logo on the front, and also on the example site above.

I remember changing the colour of your phone was as easy as changing the housing. Why is it a different colour gets people so excited I don't get i , but each to there own.
