Please help, i have google g1 phone locked and also have unlock code , which i have bought , but as per procedure when i insert any other network sim in phone phone will appear enter sim network unlock code but in my phone when ever i tried to insert different networks sim and restart cellphone , phone always start in tmobile safe mode and require log on to gmail , there is no option to go and insert unlock code
Please help how to enter in sim unlock code window
I am totally stucked with phone and password

Try to do factory reset (by holding power and home buttons to power up and alt W to wipe) and then inserting non-tmobile sim. Should work.... hopefully

i forgot my password after upgrade my wm5 to wm6. i tried to to use spl to flash my phone but my pc cant open my device because my device is locked so the activsync cant do anything.

Can you enter bootloader?
If you can, you need to enter bootloader and then reflash your ROM.
i cant even enter the bootloader because my pc tells me that my device is locked and i have to open the password of my device first.
i have the same problem...is there any solutions?
Due to company security policy, my SIM is pin locked.
When I turn the device on, everything works fine: I'm asked for the pin and then the device connects to the operator network.
But, as the thread title says, when I resume the device from Flight Mode, the PIN input keypad is not displayed, so the SIM remains in the lock state.
The only way I found to unlock it is to reboot the device.
Has anyonefound a better workaround / fix ?

i simply unlock the screen and enter pin code after returning from flight mode. Don't know why you restart it?
Are you on stock or custom rom?

because I'm not presented for the pin code keypad, after returing from flight mode, and I don't know how to activate it.
For example, on my HTC HD, simply pressing the call button, the pin input keypad pops up.....

stock 2.1.1.A.0.6, it's a company phone, not my personal one, so I'm not allowed to flash it with a custom ROM
Try to lock and unlock screen.Can you look in the log and see if there is any errors when this happens.

I've googled how to look the log file, if I'm right it's not just a file you can browse with a shell explorer, you need an application such as a log collector, I'm going to try this evening at home
Holding menu key shows keyboard, at least on stock SE homescreen.
Can't you just hold the lock button, it popups a menu for airplane mode and silent mode. And turn off.
This is the only workaround I found
1) go to "location & security settings"
2) go to "set up SIM card lock"
3) un-tick "Lock SIM card"
4) enter your PIN as required
5) your phone will now connect to the mobile network. full bars!!
6) re-tick "set up SIM card lock" if you still want to protect your phone using SIM card PIN
7) enter your PIN as required
I'm sure there must be a smarter way........

Try to use flight mode from a widget..

I bought a Mytouch3G off ebay and the phone was locked and they dont remember their unlock pattern. Is there anyway i can unlock it or like a universal passcode without goin thru google??
Go to recovery, and reset the device :0)
i tried that already... the only options are
VOl Down-Hboot mode
Send - Reset Device
Action - restart to hboot
Menu - Power down
When i press action to reset it its shuts down but dosent reset anything. i dont have a sim card in it yet either
Recovery = home + power
still nothing!! all that pops up when i do this Is a triangle with a orange exclamation point

Just enable wifi. Both my kids have phones without service, just wifi to access the market and play games.
I followed this guide to unlock the phone

5. You now need to go back to the Service Mode menu; for that tap on “menu” and select “back”.

At stage 6.... there is no menu that says UMTS
It just simply takes me back to the original menu with stuff like "GSM900: Limited" etc
It takes me back to the very first menu after I dialled “*#0011#”
So.... what do I do...??
The reason I'm trying to unlock the phone is that it said, "Network not registered".... It won't let me connect to an EE network at all... so I thought maybe the solution is to unlock the phone.

Is the sim activated? Could the imei be blocked by the carrier? If you are not bring prompted to enter a network unlock code, the phone could already be unlocked.
You should be asked to enter unlock code before yu try to unlock it.

In order for the service menu method to work, you MUST downgrade your modem to an Android 4.2.2 version first. Only then will you be able to access the appropriate menus. We have an entire thread on the topic of SIM unlocking in the General section of the forum, and mention of the modem downgrade really doesn't start showing up until posts from November, 2014. That thread has also pretty much switched to using RegionLock Away to blow away the SIM lock, as it's a more robust solution than the service menu method.
Now, will it help you regarding the EE SIM? Probably not. But it will allow you to use a SIM from any carrier.

I just put the 2nd SIM card and the phone blocked.
I never put any lock code, so I do not know what code to enter.
Had the RC5 from Jiayu.de. I've tried installing another rom (Xtreme 2.5.3), Restore factory (volume up button + power, volume down button + power), but the lock always appears.
Who can help me, please. I've never had problems with the Jiayu S3 and I love this phone.

Problem solved.
After many experiences, I almost gave up.
Finally, I put in the sd card the "Google Pixel Experienced" ROM that is in Needrom.
I started in recovery mode, I installed this ROM and ... the device no longer asks for the Privacy Protection password.
It's worth it, but it worked for me.

This is the case after updating from RC4 to RC5.
The solution is to go back to RC4.
